Heh, that is one of the more dubious "bright sides" to any conversation that I've heard in my life. I'm surprised the rant doesn't link to Overly Narrow Superlative.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Well it doesn't necessarily have to be taken THAT way. Actually having stepped on the Path he may be more powerful than any of them were.
If I was liking to the strip, I would've said "Of course, he's also the least powerful Jedi in the galaxy."
So it's not so much an Overly Narrow Superlative as it is Exact Words being Metaphorically True. (From a Certain Point of View.)
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck. You know, I just had an incredibly dumb prediction.
What if those Jedi spirits are going to be the Ewoks somehow? Possessing or manifesting or something.
Now I am forced to wonder if the GM brought some kind of prop or diagram to the session that he's showing everyone, but he very deliberately isn't bothering to explain anything about what it means.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I wonder if the Jedi's will keep following Luke all the way to VII. Maybe that's why Luke wants to find the old Temple so he can dump them off there.
I wonder if the Irregulars will jump straight into VII once VI is done (with suitable intermission time, of course), or will try to space things out so that they don't run out of material while we wait for VIII and IX.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"They'll wait for IX most likely. The spin-off movies can be done probably right away if they want to.
The GM probably doesn't think it matters due to the fact that the PCs aren't going to participate in the Space Battle; at least not with the Characters they have at hand.
Still, at the very least, the GM should know that (and tell) the heroes' objective is to take down the shield protecting the... Red thing with yellow things in it.
I think that the GM should give Lando to Jim, Wedge to Ben, and Ackbar to Sally. Pete, uh...
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck.It would be weird if the space battle, a super important part of the story, had no PCs involved at all.

I think they'll wait as well. That way they can have foreshadowing or what-have-you that stretches across all three movies.
This is what happens when The Main Characters Don't Do Everything.
Yeah, I'm really wanting Lando, Wedge, and Ackbar plus 1 other to be playable now. Plus Wicket to be played by Corey.

EDIT: And Introspection could lead either to tolerance or trust. But Introspection is active (though not necessarily visible) and so is trust; tolerance could very well be inactive.

"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984They should've had Geenral Madine mention that the party will also be taking along about a dozen scout splats along with those weapons and other gear.

Come to think of it, we don't see old Padme going on many adventures nowadays. Maybe he's right. Or maybe not.
*beat*
"That is all."
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck.More like he's expecting her to be a personal Nemesis now rather than a group boss.
When was the last time we saw characters level up?
A light-hearted discussion.
Get it? Get it? Eh...whatever.
