- Moment of Awesome: Several.
- When Tednugent decides he's had enough of running like a pansy from the monsters that plagued the Dark World he was trapped in, he suddenly becomes a lot more competent. To wit:
- The very first thing he does is to tame a Starving Amphibious Shark, name him "Larry" and sic him on several other Amphibious Sharks that were ransacking Sen'jin Village...but not before nuking a bunch of them with his Hazardous Cat Toy—which also glasses the nearby beachhead—and killing a few more sharks by blasting them in the head, all while cussing each one of them out.
- Later on, he rides Larry like a surfboard in order to cross the ocean and get to the Echo Isles, except a Middling Ravening Worm is blocking his path. What does he do? Use his Arcanite Ripper to draw blood from his hand, which he then uses to bait Larry into attacking the Worm, taking advantage of the ensuing chaos by jumping on the worm's back and using it as a plank to Disengage onto a nearby island. Even Ted was surprised he managed to pull it off.
- When he finally meets Zalazane and gets closer to learning the truth about the Dark World, the Witch Doctor displays his powers by threatening to Mind Rape Ted—who in turn responds by coolly threatening Zalazane with a bottle of Dire Mojo despite being in excruciating pain and telling the Troll that if he tries anything funny, he'll finish him off. Zalazane promptly backs down. It's as this point where the reader realizes that Ted has truly morphed into a badass Action Survivor from the Lovable Coward he started out as.
- Scratchfever gaining increasing (or decreasing) Loyalty Levels depending on Ted's actions throughout the story is mainly treated as a Running Gag. At the climax of the story though, his Loyalty gets so absurdly high that it allows him to No-Sell Pyramid Hogger's BFS by spontaneously Evade Glitching, which transforms him into a Lightning Bruiser capable of toppling Pyramid Hogger with ease.
- "Let me pass."
- When Tednugent decides he's had enough of running like a pansy from the monsters that plagued the Dark World he was trapped in, he suddenly becomes a lot more competent. To wit:
- Funny Moments:
- At an early point in the story, Ted was commanded to go Super Saiyan, which resulted in him doing his best impression of a constipated man.
- "There. you think one of your hairs turned blonde. At least you think its blonde. Oh it's just some dirt. Nevermind."
- "You have no idea how you are going to inform the Warchief of this."
- At an early point in the story, Ted was commanded to go Super Saiyan, which resulted in him doing his best impression of a constipated man.
- Heartwarming Moments: Ted vanquishes evil in the most unexpected way.
- Memetic Mutation : GET BOAT
- Nightmare Fuel : Pretty much everything in the entire story, but especially the entire Horde settlement in the Barrens known as the "Crossroads" and its inhabitants lovingly recreated out of rotting, cut-up, mangled corpses. And by lovingly recreated, we mean tanned hide walls made of stretched Human, Elven and Orcish faces, Flightmaster wyverns sewn together from Night Elf skins and Tauren with decapitated Gnome heads for fingers. Sleep well, kiddies!
- Nightmare Retardant: The concept and premise is pretty scary, but it's hard to take any of the horror stuff seriously when you remember it's happening to a guy wearing Exciting Underwear on his head.
- No Yay: Ted's relationship with his cat.
- Tear Jerker: Once upon a time, there was a little Orc girl named Marya.
