Typical Vulgar Humor of a 24thPowerProductions dub.

In 2009 and 2010, a YouTube user named 24thPowerProductions uploaded a series of vulgar Gag Dubs of SpongeBob SquarePants. He used an audio pitch changer to match the voices of the characters while speaking in his natural voice during the recordings. 24thPower dubbed the following episodes in this exact order: "The Camping Episode", "Chocolate with Nuts", "Graveyard Shift", "Pizza Delivery", "Opposite Day", "Hooky", "Sailor Mouth", "Krusty Krab Training Video", "I Was a Teenage Gary", "Nasty Patty", "Dying for Pie", "Your Shoe's Untied", "Snowball Effect", "Rock Bottom", "Jellyfish Jam", "The Secret Box" (currently lost), and "Greasy Buffoons".

Despite his original channel being terminated for violations of Viacom's copyright policy against Fair Use, all but two of his dubs were reuploaded in 2013 and can be accessed through this playlist. However, #16 is the only missing dub and that one is of the episode "The Secret Box". #5 ("The Silverstein Concert"/"Opposite Day") was also considered lost for 12 years, but resurfaced after it was discovered the person who preserved the dubs still had it after all these years but couldn't upload it to MediaFire due to copyright issues with the Silverstein songs.

Tropes

  • Adaptational Context Change:
    • "Chocolate with Nuts" went from being about SpongeBob and Patrick selling chocolate bars to them selling "weed candy".
    • "Opposite Day" has all the parts with real estate lady removed so that the plot now just focuses on SpongeBob and Patrick going to see a Silverstein concert.
    • The conflict of "Pizza Delivery" went from a drink order missing a soda to a beer.
    • In "Hooky" the intention of the hooks goes from simply capturing the sea creatures and selling then in gift shops to raping them and selling them in sex shops.
    • "Sailor Mouth" centers around SpongeBob and Patrick being told to only smoke Mr. Krabs' weed and not fireweed rather than being told not to swear (obviously because keeping the original plot intact would not work in this Obligatory Swearing universe).
    • The snail plasma in "I Was a Teenage Gary" becomes a heroin needle.
    • "Greasy Buffoons" went from centering around grease to urine due to both being yellow.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: Characters are much meaner than their original counterparts, even in scenes where they aren't intended to be angry in the original episode.
  • Adaptational Location Change:
    • The Krusty Krab goes from a fast food restaurant to a weed store, although it zigzags depending on the scene. "Your Shoe's Untied" has SpongeBob exclaim that it's time to sell weed upon waking up in the morning, only for the place's goods to be referred to as cheeseburgers consistent to the original source material. Though a customer in "Sailor Mouth" refers to the burger as "weed sandwich" and SpongeBob reads an order of 2 weed burgers in "Greasy Buffoons".
    • The original "I Was a Teenage Gary" was about SpongeBob and Patrick going to a jellyfishing convention, while the dub involves a Breaking Benjamin concert.
  • Adaptational Name Change: "Hooky" is renamed "Rapehooks" while "Opposite Day" is retitled "The Silverstein Concert".
  • Adaptational Sexuality: The news reporter fish is shoehorned as a stereotypical gay person who speaks with a feminine lisp.
  • Adapted Out: None of the episodes dubbed feature Sandy's physical presence in any capacity despite her being mentioned several times (see The Ghost below).
  • Alcohol-Induced Idiocy: SpongeBob throws a snowball at Patrick as a result of having drank four beers and sixteen shots of vodka.
  • All Men Are Perverts: Are they ever.
SpongeBob: [to the female customer] Hey bitch, can I shove my dick inside ya?
  • Ass Shove:
    • One of the consequences of playing on the "rape hooks" is getting a tuna can shoved up your ass.
    • In the "Krusty Krab Training Video" dub, Mr. Krabs refers to a spatula as a metal dick and reveals his intention to "shove it up your mom's ass".
    • Patrick jokes about making a snow dick and shoving it up SpongeBob's mom's ass.
  • Bestiality Is Depraved: Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob and Patrick that they were only born because their mothers performed bestiality in "Sailor Mouth".
  • Black Comedy Rape: Rape is treated as a humorous topic, with this trope being the entire theme of "Rapehooks".
  • Boob-Based Gag: Mr. Krabs reminds SpongeBob that Pamel Anderson's tits are fake when SpongeBob compares the Krusty Krab to the experience of rubbing one's face in said tits.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall:
    • "The Silverstein Concert" ends with SpongeBob saying "Fuck, guess this episode's over" as the screen fades to the outro credits indicating that the dubber ran out of ideas (the dub cut off at the part where SpongeBob is trying to wrap his head around why Squidward is rebuilding the pineapple house that he and Patrick purposely destroyed in celebration of Opposite Day).
    • "Krusty Krab Training Video" begins with 24th congratulating his audience for helping him reach 100 subscribers.
''"If you subscribe to this channel, I want to say, CONGRATU-FUCKING-LATIONS! You just gave me a hundred fucking subscribers!
      • The same dub has the narrator lampshade SpongeBob's eyes going crazy, something the original narrator ignored. This causes Squidward to snap and complain to Mr. Krabs.
Squidward: MR. KRABS, THE ANNOUNCER'S ANNOYING ME!!
Mr. Krabs: Quit being a baby.
    • All the characters at the beginning of the "Snowball Effect" dub are aware of "Ode to Solitude" by HIM playing despite no present speakers in-universe playing any music.
  • Camp Gay: The news reporter fish speaks with a flamboyant lisp and admits to being gay in the "Snowball Effect" dub.
  • Cast Full of Gay: Pretty much every male character has engaged in some not-so-straight behavior at one point or another due to depraved homosexuality being one of the main fuels of a raunchy parody like this.
  • Continuity Nod: "Rock Bottom" makes callbacks to both "Your Shoe's Untied" and "Chocolate with Nuts" when SpongeBob tries to remember what Gary taught him while he's tying his shoes at the bus stop and then sees the vending machine and flashes back to when he and Patrick sold weed candy.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Pretty much every character is manic and over-the-top to farther extents than their original counterparts.
  • Cluster F-Bomb: In pretty much every scene, as to be expected from a raunchy Gag Dub series.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness:
    • The characters had a tendency to say "man" a lot in earlier dubs, most prominent in "The "Camping Episode" (see below).
    • Mr. Krabs' voice sounds deeper and more raspier in the first two dubs where he appears.
  • Extreme Omnivore: Invoked on the health inspector in "Nasty Patty", who is force-fed semen-covered barnacles, his mother's "ass jizz", urine, and feces.
  • The Ghost: Sandy is mentioned numerous times but never seen.
  • I Love the Dead: "Krusty Krab Training Video" mentions Mr. Krabs having been arrested for necrophilia during his days as a homeless boy in the 1910s.
  • Intercourse with You:
    • "Up Your Ass, Squidward" from "The Camping Episode" dub (the song that replaces "The Campfire Song Song") is all about how SpongeBob likes "fucking bitches up their ass".
    • SpongeBob and Patrick sing a similar song in "Chocolate with Nuts".
"We fuck bitches up their ass, la la la la la la la laaaaaaa!"
  • Laughing Mad: A lot of the characters laugh in a manic and obnoxious way, especially SpongeBob.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: In the "Dying for Pie" dub, we get the following exchange during the open-heart surgery sequence.
Squidward: [having his heart poked by SpongeBob] Is this supposed to be on TV?
SpongeBob: We cuss all the time.
  • Musical Episode: "Opposite Day" was turned into a dub about a Silverstein concert and SpongeBob and Patrick go to a Breaking Benjamin concert in "I Was a Teenage Gary". The beginning of "Snowball Effect" also prominently featured "Ode to Solitude" by HIM playing at the beginning until SpongeBob makes the music stop by throwing a snowball at Patrick.
  • My Parents Are Dead:
SpongeBob: Kay. Have fun raping your dad!
Squidward: My dad is fucking dead.
  • Non Sequitur: When SpongeBob is asking everyone for help on how to tie his shoes.
SpongeBob: Can you show me how to tie shoes?
Painty the Pirate: No... Bluejays...on a winter green forest...
  • Obligatory Swearing: The whole point of these dubs is for the dubber to be as vulgar and profane as possible.
  • Parental Incest:
    • SpongeBob tells Squidward to have fun raping his dad in "The Camping Episode", then suggests he do it to his mom after it's revealed that Squidward's father is dead. It's implied that he actually does it once he runs inside to get his camping luggage out.
Squidward: I wasn't fucking running, I was just- [trips] OW!!! Fucking my mom!
    • SpongeBob proudly admits to kissing his mother's pussy with his foul mouth.
SpongeBob: [reading dumpster graffiti] Krabs is a... FUCK FISH!
Garbage man: Do you kiss your mother's pussy with that mouth?
SpongeBob: YEAH BITCH, YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT SHIT?
    • Mr. Krabs lists Pearl among the many victims whose mouths he ejaculated into in "Sailor Mouth".
  • Running Gag:
    • SpongeBob tells Squidward to change his tampon in "Chocolate with Nuts", "Your Shoe's Untied", and "Snowball Effect". He also tells Mr. Krabs to do so in "Sailor Mouth".
    • Mr. Krabs apparently gets called a "red sack of seal shit" a lot, first by Squidward in "Dying for Pie" and second by Plankton in "Greasy Buffoons".
Plankton: Oh look, the red sack of seal shit's here!
Mr. Krabs: If you call me that one more time, I'll beat the living fuck out of the shit out of you.
  • Shout-Out: One of the things SpongeBob says to Patrick in "Snowball Effect" is "What is your major malfunction?"
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Being a Gag Dub series, most of the characters have foul potty mouths.
  • Verbal Tic: Squidward, Patrick and SpongeBob say "man" a lot, especially in "The Camping Episode".
SpongeBob: And also don't blame me for not having a dick for a nose and a guy who keeps saying "man" to himself!
  • Vocal Dissonance: Mr. Krabs' voice sounds more deep and depressed than pirate-y, while Plankton has a high-pitched nasally inflection reminiscent of Donald Duck, which is notable in "Greasy Buffoons" when he says "WHAT THE FUCK??!!".
  • Vulgar Humor: Being a Gag Dub, this series lives and breathes off it. There are even less clean jokes than the Grandma's Kisses Dub.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: Some of the dubs cut off without finishing the dialogue or plot, likely due to the downloaded episodes themselves cutting off at that point or laziness of the dubber.
  • World of Jerkass: Every character is profane, sexually depraved, argumentative and violent.
  • Would Harm a Senior:
"After being arrested for necrophilia, Mr. Krabs wanted a better fuckin' life, so he made a career of killing old people at this fucking retirement home. And after he killed all 781 of them, he made the Krusty fucking Krab."
