Danganronpa F: Shattered Hope is a Web Video series created by Shattered Hope Studios
, based off the series Danganronpa. Fourteen participants have been trapped in the Academy of Ultimate Confinement and forced to participate in a Sacrifice Game. The series can be found on their YouTube channel.

Tropes in Danganronpa F: Shattered Hope:
- Big Damn Heroes: In the prologue, Twin saves Rissi from being impaled by one of Monokuma's spears.
- Breaking Old Trends:
- There are only 14 participants, as opposed to the regular 16.
- Everyone uses a codename provided by Monokuma, instead of their real names.
- The cast does not include a Big-Hearted Muscle student, an Ambiguously Brown girl, or a kid with a Non-Standard Character Design.
- Monokuma begins his killing game orientation before the participants introduced themselves to the protagonist when it's usually the other way around.
- The cast is all over 20 this time, instead of the standard high schoolers.
- Call-Back: Shattered Hope takes multiple cues from the canon Danganronpa series.
- Rox tries to attack Monokuma only for the bear to retaliate by attacking. This is similar to Mondo trying to threaten Monokuma but is forced to stop when Monokuma detonates.
- In relation to the animated adaptation, two of the "strong" students try (and fail) to break down the school wall with their fists.
- Gender-Equal Ensemble: Averted. There are 8 males and 6 females among the participants. It's later revealed that there were two more female participants, but they were murdered before they were introduced.
- Grim Up North: The Academy of Ultimate Confinement takes place in the middle of an Arctic Ocean.
- Identity Amnesia: The cast begins the series having lost their memories of what their names are, their talents and how they got to the school.
- Recurring Element: Several elements from the series appears:
- The use of Laser-Guided Amnesia as well as the protagonist not remembering their talent.
- Cancel has a talent with a supernatural theme.
- Yaxi is the Passionate Sports Girl of the group.
- The first victim is a character built up as being important. For bonus points, it's a blue-haired girl who was close to the protagonist.
- Sadistic Choice: All 14 participants were forced to choose between writing the thing that's most important to them on a piece of paper, which would destroy what they wrote down, or not writing anything on the piece of paper at the risk of their own safety. No one chose to write anything down.
- Shout-Out: While exploring the school, one can see a photo on a bulletin board of the Ultimate Actor from Danganronpa: DEADication.
- Special Guest: To the delight of many, popular Youtuber SHSL Blaze guest starred in the first chapter voicing an unknown but suspicious character.
