Microsoft Sam's CD-I Intro Bloopers (or simply CD-I Intro Bloopers) is a series created by AceOfSpadesProduc100 and was inspired by Davemadson's Looney Tunes Intro Bloopers.This series was the most popularly viewed on Ace's YouTube channel, gaining at least over 500 views a few days after upload, since Episode 1 was released in June 17, 2014. The final episode, Episode VI, was released in December 12, 2014.
The original account was closed as of January 1, 2015. Between the first account closure and the return to YouTube, Ace decided to cancel the series completely.
This page provides examples of:
- Animate Inanimate Object: The CD-I Logo in Episode III. It then simulated a tantrum effect by displaying the tantrum's model text, and played the "dundundun!" from the end of its animation music, every time it updated the text.
- Art Evolution:
- Episode II changed the background to a wooden effect, and then into a pseudo-3D scene since Episode III.
- The character concepts gained expressions and familiar limbs and faces as of Episode IV.
- Episode IV plays this as a scene: The new Sam design appears and tosses the old Sam design out as well as all the old character designs and replaced them with their current ones.
- Brick Joke: The logo that said "Sample Text" first appeared around Episode III or IV, and returned in Episode VI. Mary lampshades this by saying "Just like a few episodes ago...".
- Irony: In Episode VI, after the Devil and She-Devil fled, Mary said that everyone will go back to the "bloopers" despite the series being about Scotty working to perfect the intro.
- Mythology Gag:
- Any joke that was introduced in a Funny Windows Errors episode before their corresponding CD-I Intro bloopers episode, such as the Moving Victoria Virus.
- No Fourth Wall:
- At the end of some episodes, one of the characters will announce the end of them.
- In Episode VI, the She-Devil threatened to cross over CD-I Intro Bloopers with Looney Tunes Intro Bloopers, despite already having several elements crossed over. She means that she will make the crossover become exaggerated or entire.
- Ominous Visual Glitch: Played for laughs in the beginning of Episode IV, followed with an explosion.
- Previously on…: Narrated by Mr. Ace.
- Punny Name: The episode names, which can often become unfitting with their episode's content and not making sense.
- Rhymes on a Dime: In episode VI, Sam reads the intro that said "Windows 'XP'", and responded with "Fat but Sexy since 2001".
- Shout-Out:
- In Episode VI, when Sam runs out of the studio from tacos being mentioned, Zira worries that he will fight with Sonata Dusk because both are obsessed with tacos.
- In the same episode:
- HomestarRunner was mentioned.
- The logo said "Butt Carpeting", and
Josh said "Which is why my "butt" itches from "butt carpeting" to continue that line.
- Stuff Blowing Up: When the Devil and She-Devil, or the Scary Logos Clan are thwarted, a big explosion scene is likely to occur: "Kaboom, Kaboom, Kaboom!!!, Kaboom..."
- Suspiciously Similar Substitute: The New CD-I Logo, as part of the Scary Logos Clan. It was announced by the Generic News Reporter in Episode V, but it may have not made its official appearance, other than appearing as a brief substitution for the standard CD-I logo in Episode IV.
- Vomit Discretion Shot: The test bars whenever a character experiences
something disgusting, and the text for it plays this for laughs by displaying humorous and especially protest-like text, such as:- "Hey, when can I not censor this anymore????"
