The aliens are parasitic
It is stated that both Kennosuke and Fusnarnie have some weird nerve clusters around their necks. It might be that the aliens are actually parasites, and that the one that took over Kennosuke has forgotten it isn't human. So his memories could be true as well as the possibility of him being an alien traitor.- Jossed. Efidolg is a multiracial Hegemonic Empire that uses coercion, cloning and Mind Control to fill its ranks with the members of conquered races. There are no single species that can be called "Efidolg".
- Also Jossed, in that Efidolg clones are clearly distinguishable from humans by their red pupils, a feature Kennosuke doesn't share with them.
Kennosuke's princess is still alive
He said she was "taken" by the demons a.k.a. the alien invaders. Depending on why they were taking people(the legend says the demons ate people, but since the demons are actually giant robots the victims may simply have been abducted and placed inside the mecha for transport up to the mothership) the aliens may have kept her on ice for the last few centuries. They may or may not have also converted the princess into an enemy commander, which could result in Kennosuke having a Heroic BSoD when The Reveal happens.- Confirmed as of episode 13. Yukihime is now the Efidolg Muetta.
- And then Jossed by the Episode 20. Muetta isn't really Yukihime, but just her clone, the real Yukihime died 450 years ago.
Long Arm will be salvaged and piloted by Ryoto
Now that it's pilot is dead, Long Arm is just taking up space. It will be taken apart, examined, and put back together in a more heroic looking form. Jundai and Ryoto will sneak in to take a look at it and either one or both of them will wind up in the pilot's seat as the base is attacked while they are there.- Jossed so far, given that Akagi slides further and further into a Butt-Monkey role.
- In fact, it's Tom Borden who gets to pilot the Long Arm.
Efidolg are Demons
The knights we see are little more than their indoctrinated servants (indoctrination shows as red glow around pupils?). This would make the mysterious benefactor helping Yukina a Defectorfrom Decadence who, for whatever reason, decided to side with humans.- Jossed: Demons were one of the races that Efidolg conquered.
- ...That said, in documents studied by Dr. Shirahane, it is Efidolg who are referred to as 'demons', not the more demonic-looking race Zeringer Mundef Bischrei is a member of.
- Lefil, the current Gezon-Reco commander, turns out to be the "demon" himself, as Efidolg apparently aren't racist and include all conquered races into their ranks. That said, Zeringer apparently also was an Efidolg officer and is indeed the Defector from Decadence.
- It later turns that Zeringer isn't really an Efidolg soldier but a resistance fighter who used a stolen equipment to fight.
