Candidates for the Big Bad:
  • Roxxon
  • Simon Marshall
  • Silvermane

Liam will become a villain.

Dr. Sanjo is a replacement for Dr. Simon Marshall from the comics.
The differences are that he's Japanese-American, has more of a history with Tyrone, and may be a far less deplorable, more nuanced character.

Instead of one, the pair will have to deal with three main villains.
  • Roxxon Corporation will be the employers of Simon Marshall and their illegal experiments with the Darkforce will be the reason why Tyrone and Tandy had their superpowers, like in the continuity, making them the Greater-Scope Villain of the entire series.
  • Simon Marshall or an Expy of him will be the direct responsible of their powers after having experimenting on them when thay were kids at orders of Roxxon's C.E.O. in an attemp to create their own Super Soldiers. If he was coerced to do it or not will be a driving question of the show.
  • Mr. Negative would be the latest experiment of Dr.Marshall and a Knight of Cerebus to the series after three or four episodes of romanticism. In this continuity he would likely be a willing subject, like Blonsky, and his powers would be a fusion of the protagonist powers, forcing them to fight in combination to have a oportunity against him. Not only that, but he would be a mercenary or someone with a similar work just to show how difficult is to two teenagers to fight against a soldier. On the other hand, his control over his powers will not be as fluid as the pair's because he recived them recently while they have been using them for years in secret and have more experience

The Bowens were killed in Superstorm Sandy
  • It will be long-ago enough by the time of its premiere that Tandie will plausibly be used to life on the street.

One thing that will carry over from the 616 version will be...
  • The Drugs Are Bad element.
  • Their appearances, names, powers, and their partnership.
  • A brief story arc where their relationship falters and they choose to go their own ways, only for each to realize that their powers can't be controlled without the influence of the other

Possible villains

Nathan Fillion will make his debut as the screen actor Simon Williams
Okay, I sort of doubt it, but the MCU has thrown some unexpected twists at us. But this would allow them to make the Grim Reaper into a pawn for Roxxon.

Roxxon (assuming it's the source of the protagonists' powers) will be tied into the IGH from Season 2 of Jessica Jones (2015) and possibly the bad guys from Ant-Man and the Wasp
My current thinking:
  • 1) Cloak and Dagger will be up against crime lord Silvermane and drug chemist Simon Marshall, who will be nebulously tied to Roxxon
  • 2) Donald Roxxon will be revealed in Ant-Man and the Wasp as the Man Behind the Man for the Ghost in that film, with hints that he backed both Silvermane and Karl Malus
    • Jossed. Silvermane isn't in this show and Ant-Man and the Wasp has no mention of Roxxon, let alone a reveal that Roxxon masterminded the plot. If anything, the show has more of a direct tie to Luke Cage (2016), since both acknowledge that O'Reilly is originally from New York City.

The heroes will find a way to prevent the "one must die" part of the prophecy.
Because, come on.

At the end, Tandy will get the white circle makeup on her right eye from the comics, but not the costume.
Seriously, there is no way in hell that this kind of costume can get away on TV without immense criticism.

One of the Previous “Divine Pairings” will be...
Simon Garth and Layla. In the comics, Simon Garth was a man sacrificed during a Voodoo ritual, only for the priestess to bring him back to life as a zombie due to being in love with him. So far, in the first episode we’ve seen a grave stone with the last name “Garth” and in the third episode the shop Evita’s family runs has Damballah im the name (Damballah being the name of the Loa that powers the twin amulets which keep Simon in zombified life and allow him to be controlled by their wielder). Those references could just be some nice nods to fans, or they could be hints about one of the previous iterations of he divine pairing, which we know from the trailers show up when the city is in a time of crisis and always save the city but at the cost of one of the pair’s life. So what if the show alters the backstory of Simon Garth so that he was the previous “Cloak”, who died saving the city? Layla could still be alive, her powers dormant due to not being around Simon anymore, and she could almost become a sort of mentor to Tandy and Ty. Then later, something could cause Simon’s powers to reawaken, returning him to some approximation of life. Additionally, this could be the reason for the assumed change of Simon Marshall’s name, similar to how it’s believed Frank Simpson might have become Will Simpson in the Netflix shows to avoid confusion with Frank Castle.

Cloak and Dagger will meet Tom Holland's Spider-Man some way, at some point
The characters first appeared in Spider-Man comics, and they can all form quite the Power Trio. Showrunner and executive producer Joe Pokaski has said that out of all the possible candidates for a cameo or crossover, he would want Spider-Man the most.

The kid Father Delgado accidentally ran over while drunk was his own son.

Idea for The Stinger for "Colony Collapse", just as the producers promised...
Brigid is seen walking home, during the weird shenanigans with dark energy seen in the promos. Suddenly, a truck carrying dangerous chemicals drives towards her, being shaken by an earthquake caused by the aforementioned dark energy. She tries to dodge it, but the truck tips over, causing its contents to burst out and hit her in the process. When the dust clears, there will seemingly be a Dead-Hand Shot for Brigid... before her fingers turn into talons, alluding to her comic persona, "Mayhem". As Mayhem has already been confirmed to appear in Season 2, this stinger can serve to be a hell of a Sequel Hook.

Connors will die in "Colony Collpase".
Honestly, he's a Hate Sink waiting to meet his end. In the promo, he is seen on the top of a building, with Tyrone menacing him. What could happen is that Tyrone contemplates killing him, before choosing not to. As Tyrone gives him a "The Reason You Suck" Speech and begins walking away, Connors tries to shoot him, to no avail. So, Connors resorts to using a knife and leap towards him. But just as he is close, Tyrone teleports away, causing him to have a Disney Villain Death.

Tandy and Tyrone will end up on the run.
The latter has been framed for Fuch's murder by Connors. So, the two will choose to leave their families, after a lengthy talk where Tyrone tries to convince her to not go after him.

The Rambeaus will appear
It is set in New Orleans, after all.

Father Delgado is one of the people who's survived Thanos' finger snap.
Seeing people disintegrating around him brought him into deeper despair.

Tyrone's parents have divorced.
