"Hi this is Bill Cosby."

The Bill Cosby Fun Game is a Flash game from 2004 created by Shawn Houde and Jeremy Lokken.

Bill Cosby has been hit hard financially by his rape trial. His only way out is to murder and steal. Cosby can lure unsuspecting passersby with Jell-O pudding and land a fatal blow with a Kodak camera. After Cosby searches their pockets for money or extra pudding, he has to dump the bodies in the Cosby Cave. Once Cosby has killed 26 people and amassed at least $100, he can make that all-important phone call and hitch a ride out of town.

Cosby has limited pudding and camera life, so he can go to the city and have Rosie O'Donnell help him out. The stench of decomposing bodies will also alert neighbors in the burbs, so Cosby must buy a shovel to dig deeper. Should Cosby have a broken camera with no money or pudding, he could end it all by attempting suicide.

These tropes were dirt poor:

  • Adam Smith Hates Your Guts: The first time Cosby needs a shovel to dig deeper into the Cosby Cave, it costs $20. Every time thereafter, it's $40.
  • Apathetic Citizens: None of the neighbors are particularly concerned with Cosby killing people in broad daylight. They only seem to have their suspicions aroused when the Cosby Cave starts emitting a foul odor.
  • Black Comedy: And how. Cosby turns into a life of crime with various sound bits making fun of his situation.
  • Comically Small Bribe: Should Cosby face arrest, he can bribe the police with $100. Justified, considering money for him is hard to come by.
  • Crapsack World: The burbs where Cosby does his murders are in awful shape with boarded up windows on the houses. The city isn't that much better, particularly Rosie's pigsty of a hideout.
  • Driven to Suicide: Choosing "Attempt Suicide" results in Cosby running in the middle of the road and a car running him over.
  • Easy-Mode Mockery: Selecting "Easy" in the options menu triggers a voice bit of Cosby saying, "Are you kidding me!?"
  • Formerly Fit: The trial apparently wasn't kind to Bill Cosby's body.
  • Funny Background Event: Every so often in the burbs, someone will jump from a skyscraper in the city with a Wilhelm Scream.
  • Kaizo Trap: Subverted. If the neighbors notify the authorities about the decaying bodies and Cosby has what he needs to call his way out of town, he won't face the police if the phone is clicked.
  • Player Nudge:
    • Cosby says, "I don't think you wanna go there" if the mouse is hovered over "Attempt Suicide".
    • Every so often, there will be a message in the Cosby Cave warning that neighbors are getting suspicious of its odor. This is the game's cue to get Cosby to purchase a shovel. If this is ignored three times, a new one notifying that the police have been called comes up.
  • Police Are Useless: Zig-Zagged. They don't seem to care about Cosby's killing spree until the neighbors get them involved. Cosby won't actually get arrested; he can bribe the cops with $100 or attempt suicide.
  • Press X to Die: The game can only voluntarily be lost by clicking "Attempt Suicide".
  • Product Placement: Cosby's weapon of choice is a Kodak camera, and he offers Jell-O pudding to his victims.
  • Riding into the Sunset: The credits sequence has Cosby doing this on a motorcycle.
  • Shout-Out:
  • This Is for Emphasis, Bitch!: Cosby committing suicide is followed by on-screen text reading "Game Over, Bitch".
  • Video Game Cruelty Potential: Whacking neighbors with a camera and then burying them underground? Sounds like fun already!
  • Video Game Cruelty Punishment: Most often occurs should Cosby decide to kill Carl Winslow. He poses the risk to break Cosby's camera or even steal all his cash. At the very worst, the other two potential victims will carry nothing.
  • Villain Protagonist: The game has Bill Cosby murdering innocent people in order to escape town after his rape trial. All played for Black Comedy.
