Morrigan
If a Grey Warden agreed to Morrigan's ritual in Dragon Age: Origins, she then returns in Dragon Age: Inquisition with a son named Kieran whom she loves and is very protective of. During the penultimate main quest of the game, she would confront her mother Flemeth, who wanted to take Kieran with her for being the vessel of an Old God's soul. Not wanting her son to experience the same cruelty she herself suffered from her mother, Morrigan offers herself to Flemeth in exchange for giving Kieran back to her. Moved by her daughter's love for Kieran, Flemeth opts to take the Old God's soul from Kieran before returning him to Morrigan.
