- Many years ago, a farmer discovered bizarre weeds growing in his cornfield, and took it upon himself to hack them apart. Armed with little beyond a flashlight and his bare hands, he journeyed into the corn maze in the dead of night. There, he discovered an army of scarecrows, led by the mysterious Zardy. With no warning, they turned hostile and attacked, hell-bent on stopping the farmer at all costs. The task proved extremely difficult, but in the end, he was able to outwit Zardy and his minions. Further investigation turned up cryptic hints of a cosmic battle and unknown alien civilisations, for Zardy had come to Earth from a faraway world. His motivations remain cloaked in secret, and only time will tell what his true purpose is in coming to our planet.
- In the present day, a young man and his girlfriend came to Zardy's cornfield one night, demanding to sing with him. After two gruelling battles, Zardy vanished into the dark, leaving Cable Crow to sing in his stead. It was then that a mysterious cornfield sprouted up in the Pantheon, overgrown with blue weeds and shifting endlessly. The scarecrow found himself at the corn maze's heart, initially confused but proud to accept his role as a member of the Pantheon. He is a solitary sort, mostly tending to his plants... but while he may be friendly outside of his temple, he will not hesitate to chase away even the fiercest of Overdeities away from what he's growing in its depths.

- The world of Ace Attorney is no stranger to colorful characters, and the infamous Wendy Oldbag is no exception. A security guard by trade, Oldbag has gotten herself involved in many of the Wright Anything Agency's "turnabout trials" as a key witness, including the death of Jack Hammer and the murder of Juan Corrida. She is known to be less than cooperative in investigations, and she's prone to going off on long-winded rants at a speed too fast for the player to read.
- At the ripe old age of ninety-six, Oldbag was in the midst of chewing out a trespasser on Global Studios' grounds when she suddenly collapsed from a heart attack and was brought to the Hickfield Clinic. While she was pronounced dead on the scene, this was not the end for the old windbag — as she passed, Wendy found herself enveloped in a soft light and awoke within the Pantheon. She was immediately taken with her role as a Goddess, a boost to her ego which almost made up for the fact that she was not restored to her youth upon her ascension.
