- Celebrity Voice Actor: In the Japanese dub, Million Knives is voiced by film and television actor Junya Ikeda. Likewise, Meryl Stryfe is voiced by actress Sakura Andou.
- Creator Cameo: A wanted poster for "comic creator Nightow" can be seen on the walls of wanted posters in Rosa's bar and in one of the magazine's Roberto is reading. His bounty worth: thirty double-dollars. His crimes: missing comic deadlines and going on family trips under the guise of "Searching for inspiration!"
- Crossdressing Voices: Elendira is voiced by Ayumu Murase.
- The Other Darrin:
- Not surprising since it's been decades between the 1998 anime and Stampede, but all of the Japanese voice actors have been recast:
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka replaces Masaya Onosaka as Vash the Stampede.
- Junya Ikeda replaces Tōru Furusawa as Millions Knives.
- Sakura Andou replaces the late Hiromi Tsuru as Meryl Stryfe, after Tsuru died in 2017.
- Yoshimasa Hosoya replaces Show Hayami as Nicholas D. Wolfwood.
- Kōki Uchiyama replaces Toshihiko Seki as Legato Bluesummers.
- Maaya Sakamoto replaces Aya Hisakawa as Rem Saverem.
- TARAKO replaces Hiroshi Kamiya as Zazie The Beast.
- Aside from Johnny Yong Bosch as Vash, all of the English voice actors for the returning characters have also been recast, both living and dead:
- Austin Tindle voices Millions Knives instead of the late Kirk Baily, who died in 2022.
- Sarah Roach replaces Luci Christiannote as Meryl Stryfe.
- David Matranga replaces Brad Hawkinsnote as Nicholas D. Wolfwood.
- Emily Fajardo voices Rem Saverem instead of Bridget Hoffman.
- Madeleine Morris voices Zazie The Beast instead of Derek Stephen Prince.
- Daman Mills voices Legato Bluesummers instead of Richard Cansino.
- Not surprising since it's been decades between the 1998 anime and Stampede, but all of the Japanese voice actors have been recast:
- Playing Against Type: Who would have thought that Junya Ikeda who is known for his usually cheerful protagonist roles such as Gai Ikari, Takeru Jakuzure and Ataru Suruga would play as the A God Am I, Soft-Spoken Sadist and Misanthrope Supreme Millions Knives?
- Portmanteau Series Nickname: "TriStamp," used by fans to distinguish the show from other iterations of Trigun.
- Promoted Fanboy: Director Kenji MutÅ has stated before that he was a fan of the original Trigun series and so are other crew members working on Stampede.
- Role Reprise: Johnny Yong Bosch returns as Vash for the English dub, nearly thirteen years after Trigun: Badlands Rumble. This makes him the only VA to have returned for all three English dubs.
- What Could Have Been: Early Concept Art shows that some of Vash's designs were more faithful to his original design. There's also concept art of Wolfwood wearing a wide-brimmed hat and Badass Long Coat. Some of the concept art was used as stills at the end of each episode. In some other concept arts, Vash had a face mask for desert travel and glasses without stems. Some of Roberto's concept art show him having an eyepatch, and he and Meryl are dressed in ways more akin to what the JuLai Military Police are wearing. One of Zazie's earlier mask designs looked like something akin to a Balinese mask that would open up to have the face of a bee.
