- All-Star Cast: The film draws upon some of the biggest names in American cinema, including Chris Hemsworth, Keegan-Michael Key, Brian Tyree Henry, Jon Hamm, Laurence Fishburne, Scarlett Johansson, and Steve Buscemi. And that's just the first of the announced cast members.
- Dueling Works: This is currently set to come out a week before The Wild Robot, another animated robot movie.
- Fake American: Well, as American as a Cybertronian can get, at least; Chris Hemsworth voices Orion with an American-sounding accent as opposed to his natural Australian accent.
- Meaningful Release Date: The film releases on September 20, 2024, which is three days after the 40th anniversary of the release of the first episode of the original series. Doubles as a Milestone Celebration to celebrate the franchise turning forty years old.
- Production Posse:
- Director Josh Cooley is reunited with Keegan-Michael Key from Toy Story 4.
- The film's writers, Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari reunite with actor Laurence Fishburne from Ant-Man and the Wasp.
- The Other Darrin:
- While Optimus Prime is voiced by someone other than Peter Cullen isn't anything new, this is the first Transformers film to not have him as Prime, with Chris Hemsworth voicing him instead.
- Brian Tyree Henry voices Megatron from both Hugo Weaving and Frank Welker. Henry's casting marks the first time that Megatron himself is voiced by an African-American actor in the franchise's forty-year history.
- Keegan-Michael Key voices B-127 / Bumblebee, taking over from all four of his previous actors from the live-action movies, Mark Ryan, Ben Schwartz, Erik Aadahl, and Dylan O'Brien in that order.
- Scarlett Johansson voices Elita from voice actress Grey DeLisle, who originally voiced the character in Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen.
- In the years after the release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon and the passing of Sentinel Prime's voice actor Leonard Nimoy, Jon Hamm now voices him.
- Studio Hop: When first announced, the film was listed as a project under then-Hasbro-owned subsidiary Boulder Media. It would switch over to Industrial Light & Magic, who did the VFX for the live-action films up to Bumblebee, at an unspecified point in production.
- Those Two Actors: Actors Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson previously appeared together in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Thor and Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, respectively.
- You Sound Familiar: After voicing Daytrader in Transformers: The Last Knight, Steve Buscemi gets another go at the franchise. Though his role currently is being kept secret.
