• Acting for Two:
  • Rie Takahashi and Leeanna Albanese play Erina, Eri, and Shadow Toshiro (when taking on the form of Eri).
  • Fairouz Ai voices both Luca and Guernica.
• Content Leak:
  • The name of the game itself was already dropped alongside Persona 3 Reload by Persona leaker Midori on Twitter before they were officially revealed. This game and Reload would also end up accidentally revealed early by Atlus West themselves via Instagram. Promotional images of this game's Downloadable Content were also leaked before the first one with Crow and Violet was officially announced.
  • Though Atlus and Sega quickly fixed this, the full game somehow launched one week early on Steam.
• Darkhorse Casting: Unusually for the series, most of the new characters were played by either up-and-coming or obscure voice actors in the English dub. Most notably, Erina was Leeanna Albanese's very first role ever in a major production.
• Pre-Order Bonus: Pre-ordering the game provided players with access to the Picaro versions of male Orpheus and Izanagi, two Personas not included in the Picaro Summoning DLC pack.
• Promoted Fangirl: Cat Protano is a big fan of the series, and had done fandubs of Persona-related comics under pseudonyms before being cast as Marie. In her role announcement tweet, she states the series meant a lot to her and she always wanted to be a part of it, with Marie also being one of her favorite characters she voiced.
• Serendipity Writes the Plot: An interview with director Naoya Maeda revealed this to be the reason for the game's chibi artstyle, as using the realistic anime models from the original game would have made the characters too difficult to tell apart from a bird's-eye perspective, while the exaggerated Super-Deformed designs of Persona Q were too limiting for the dynamic action they wanted to portray, ultimately leading to the creation of a "cute" art style with an emphasis on limbs.
• Spoiled by the Cast List: The Repaint Your Heart DLC features the same credits as the main story, inadvertently revealing the name of the Final Boss and other Walking Spoilers for players who started with the former first.
• Word of Saint Paul: Shortly after Tactica was released, Leeanna Albanese (Erina's VA) took part in an AMA on the Persona 5 subreddit and answered a number of questions regarding Erina and Eri.
  • She did not learn that Erina was Toshiro's Shadow until late into the recording process, but had realised that something was strange beforehand.
  • Whilst she couldn't confirm if it was canon, she played Eri as having a crush on Toshiro.
• Working Title: According to its Game Pass listing, Tactica is internally known as Project Snowball.
• You Sound Familiar: Some of the new characters in Tactica are played by actors who previously were in Persona 5 and other spin-offs.
  • Yuki and her real-world counterpart, Yuki Kasukabe, are played by Abby Trott, who previously was the voice of Tae Takemi, the Death Confidant, in both Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5: The Animation, replacing Kirsten Potter from the vanilla game. Trott also played Eiko Takao in The Animation, a character who appears in Makoto Niijima's Confidant segments in the original game who had no voiced lines but has some in the anime adaptation.
  • Ichiro Nakabachi is voiced by William Salyers, who previously voiced the Sun Confidant, Toranosuke Yoshida.
  • Jerri from the Repaint Your Heart DLC campaign is voiced by Atsuko Tanaka, who also voiced Kayo Toyama/Okyann in the betas of Persona 5: The Phantom X prior to Tactica's release.
