Go To

  • Actor-Shared Background:
    • Hailey is half-Polynesian like her voice actress, Auli'i Cravalho
    • Scott is of Filipino descent like Manny Jacinto
    • Kristine, who is Latino, is voiced by half-Hispanic Amanda Leighton.
    • Dr. Sanchez and Mrs. Sanchez, who are Latino, are voiced by Anthony Mendez (who is Domincan-American) and Myrna Velasco (who is of Mexican descent)
  • Ascended Fanon:
    • Many fans believed Hailey would be a fan of Moana as a reference to both her and the film's titular protagonist both being voiced by Auli'i Cravalho, with the Watsonian explanation being that Hailey looked up to her as a strong female Pacific Islander character. Come the Disney Chibi Tiny Tales Movie Marathon, and Hailey states that she'd always identified with Moana, confirming that Hailey is not only a fan of the movie but also relates to Moana herself.note
  • The Cast Showoff:
    • Hailey is voiced by Auli'i Cravalho, the voice of Moana, so she gets to show off her singing chops in a couple of episodes.
    • Kari Wahlgren and Jess Harnell get to show off their singing talent throughout "The Puffle Kerfuffle".
    • Naturally Weird Al Yankovic gets to show off his singing skills any time he appears as Chip Dingle.
  • Completely Different Title: The series has a different title in every country and region:
    • Becomes 海莉的任務清單 (Hailey's To-Do List) in Hong Kong and 海莉救世界 (Hailey Saves the World) in Taiwan.
    • 헤일리는 임무중! (Hailey is On a Mission) in South Korea.
    • Leave It to Hailey in Persian.
    • Os Desafios de Hailey is Brazillian Portuguese.
    • Хэйли в деле (Hailey in Action) in Russian.
    • Hailey y su lista para salvar al mundo (Hailey and Her List to Save the World) in Latin America.note
    • Hailey má plán! (Hailey Has a Plan!) in Czech.
    • Haileys liste (Hailey's List) in Danish.
    • Haileys missies (Hailey's Missions) in Dutch.
    • Ya Nara Kya! Hailey (Gotta Do It! Hailey) in Japanese.
  • Content Leak: In April 2024 the series' pitch bible was leaked online, spoiling several plot details, including the identity of the mastermind behind the Chaos Bots.
  • Died During Production: Billy Kametz (the voice of Road Rash and Paul) passed away during production of season 1. He would be replaced by Eric Bauza as Paul in later episodes.
  • He Also Did:
  • The Other Darrin: Paul is initially voiced by Billy Kametz in "Smells Like Queen Spirit", but would be replaced by Eric Bauza starting with "Leather Jacket Hailey" due to Kametz passing away during production.
  • Out of Order: As is typical with Disney Channel shows, the order the episodes first aired is not always the same as the order they were made, which can cause some confusion as Status Quo Is God is not always followed; there are changes from episode to episode of the status of friendships, dating, introduction of characters and pets, and information about the chaos bots and the future world, which affect whether the events of another episode make sense before or after another one.
    • For instance, "Catching Felines", where Hailey needs to make a female friend to fulfill a list item, aired after "Road Trippin'", where Hailey and Kristine call one another friends. A production secretary of the show has confirmed that the order of the episodes' airing was the reverse of the order of production.
  • Posthumous Credit: Billy Kametz, who passed away a year before the series premiered, voiced Road Rash in "The Wild, Wild Mess" and Paul in "Smells Like Queen Spirit".
  • Production Posse:
  • Queer Character, Queer Actor: Jonathan and his boyfriend Thad are voiced by gay actors, Nico Santos and Nik Dodani.
  • Typecasting: As with his breakout role on The Good Place, Manny Jacinto again plays a character who is a bit dim and a Cloudcuckoolander, but nevertheless good-hearted and fiercely loyal, with important moments of The Cuckoolander Was Right, and being a Chick Magnet.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Early concept art showed that Hailey was a case of Colorblind Casting, as they toyed with her possibly being Black or Asian.
    • According to the pitch bible, Becker's crush on Hailey was going to be a recurring gag throughout the first season, but in the final show it ended up getting dropped after a couple of episodes and she soon hooked up with Kennedy.
  • Working Title: I Will Not Kiss Scott Federman!
