  • Grandma Lucille and Grandpa Bernie are born.
  • Mrs. Demson is born.
  • The Parkingtons are born.

About thirty or forty-something years ago

  • Lucille and Bernie get married.
  • The Parkingtons get married.
  • Daniel is born.
  • Jorge and Mariella are born.
  • Mrs. Clusky, the Kennellys and other such adults are born.

About five to twelve years from then

  • Mariella and her friends tell jokes about the house that Mr. and Mrs. Parkington will eventually live in being haunted.
  • Daniel goes through his phase of dressing as the Green Gas Lamp.

Around fifteen years ago

  • The Boxwoods get married.
  • Ronald is born.
  • Janice and O.G. get married.

Eleven years ago

  • Daniel and Mariella get married.
  • Carolina is born.

Ten years ago

  • Helen is born.
  • Alice is born.
  • T.D. is born.
  • Truman is born.

Eight years ago

  • Alice's birthday party where she falls into her cake. Helen, Ronald and T.D. attend.
  • Pops is born.
  • Candy is born.

Seven years ago

  • Milo is born.
  • Truman accidentally glues his head to a table.
  • T.D. eats a roly-poly bug.
  • T.D. goes through his dog phase.
  • Carolina goes through her princess phase.

Six years ago

  • Helen goes through a phase of wanting to be a firefighter.
  • Carolina starts school.

Five years ago

  • Nelson is born.
  • Helen, T.D., and Alice learn to ride bikes.
  • Mrs. Clusky's nieces are born (maybe).
  • Truman goes through a geography phase.
  • Truman watches The Wizard of Oz and then receives a toy weather prediction set.
  • T.D. gives up eating dog food.
  • Alice, Helen, T.D., and Truman start school.

Four years ago

  • C.D. is born.
  • Martha is born and put up for adoption.
  • Martha is used by thieves.
  • Martha is adopted.
  • Martha becomes scared of toilet paper.

Two years ago

  • Alice Boxwood's build-your-own-sundae party.
  • Jake is born.
  • Pops is put up for adoption.
  • Martha is mistaken for a boy dog.
  • Mariella says that Lucille's cake is not fit for a dog; Martha eats it.
  • Martha watches the movie she spoilers for the Lorraines in the first episode.
  • Teddy eats a pillow.

One year ago

  • Martha chews up a ball.
  • Martha learns to talk.
  • Martha reports a robbery.
  • Skits is born.
  • Martha becomes a radio announcer.
  • Carolina learns that Martha can talk.
  • Granny Flo subtracts half the alphabet.
  • T.D. finds Skits.
  • The Lorraines adopt Skits.

  • Rinty gets poisoned (luckily he ends up fine)

  • Martha (maybe) meets Big Minnie.

  • Martha almost gets a job.
  • Martha gets framed for a steak heist.
  • Martha almost becomes a firefighter.
  • Pickle incident; the Parkingtons move house.
  • Martha meets Francois.
  • Martha wins a trip to the Come On Inn, leading them to allow pets.
  • Martha stars in an ad.

  • Jake says his first word.
