Sandbox / GUAP Hired Guardians

Go To

Throughout the pantheon there are those who want to keep stability and peace, however some are more self-interested in it. Some who wish to exploit the idea of peace, and use the forces of nature for their own goals. The Hired Guardians are these kinds of gods, joining Gaea's forces only because it benefits them, or is straight up Pragmatic Villainy. Many of these gods are still on the payroll of other alliances, and there may be a few spies

To keep order, Gaea has summoned her lover Tartarus as an internal policeman of sorts to keep the Hired Guardians in line. As the literal embodiment of Hell, he serves as a punishment to those the Preservation Council sees as acting out of line. For maximum intimidation, the domiciles for the Hired Guardians are directly above Tartarus itself.

The Internal Police

Tartarus, The Unholy Protogenoi Of The God's Prison (The Pit, Tartaros, Protogenos of the Abyss, The Pit of Evil, Father of the Gigantes, Stinking Pit, Erebus, Erebos, God of the Abyss, Grandfather of all Monsters)

  • Rank: Overdeity
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • The cosmic Abyss, Tartarus keeps his eye out on the other team members to ensure internal stability within the GUAP. Feared by most, but content to get his monstrous grandchildren to do his dirty work unless sufficiently enraged.
  • Reason for joining: To serve his beloved Gaea
  • Dedication to preservation: None. Tartarus is here because he is serving Gaea's best interests, not because he cares about Preservation.
  • Threat to alliances: EXTREME. This monster is capable of sealing great and powerful gods within itself, and is overall terrifying. Thankfully he's Unskilled, but Strong.

Hired Guardians

Kars, God of Otherworldly Power (Cars, The Ultimate Life Form, The Perfect Being, The Aztec God of Fitness.)

  • Greater God
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil
  • Reason for joining: His fondness for animal and plant life, combined with his interest in the power he could get directly working with nature, gives him incentive to work in the GUAP.
  • Loyalty to the Preservation Council: Low. As mentioned he is fond of animal and plant life, but he wants power even more and sees the forces of nature as more advantageous to this than the GUAE.
  • Threat to the alliances: Very high. Kars is the Ultimate Life Form for a reason, functionally immortal and able to harness the power of any life-form on Earth.
