Mariela possesses a happy-go-lucky disposition with the way she cracks jokes with the intentions of making light of a tension-laden situation and her carefree attitude with things that most folks would dwell on cinder block-heavy contemplation on. It’s one of the main—though not the KEY—reasons why she easily warms up to other people and grows attachments who are deemed benevolent and amiable towards him.. However…this also pans towards some “doormat” behavior that came as a result of eons of presumed jettison by her father. More often than not, she's one to keep unhealthy or toxic thoughts at bay to preserve her relationships with other people in fear of abandonment, even if it is those very thoughts that burgeon into the driving force prompting him to flee if even some vague prospect of any aversion towards his presence emerges. Sara is the head honcho and self-asserted "queen" of Salado Blue Middle School and of The Animatronic faction as a whole, though few like her and even less respect her. Her animal representation is of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, and fittingly, she attempts to resemble one with intimidation and a temper unmatched by everyone. Sara was created by the author.- Alpha Bitch: She asserts herself as queen of Salado Blue Middle School, of The Animatronics and is an all-around jerk to behold.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: She acts like an angel to her parents and other adults and authority, which is why she escapes punishment so often.
- Brainy Brunette: Subverted. She believes she is and that she is a master manipulator akin to Regina George when in reality, she's a 13 year old who knows no more than others her age and her victories only succeed because she screws with the minds of The Misfit Trio, three people who are all mentally suffering.
- Condescending Compassion: The reason she befriended Evan, seeing him as a disadvantaged and disabled bowl of pity for her to swoop in and fix. She originally hoped Evan was pitied enough by other students so she would get a popularity boost by "helping" him, but when she realized nobody cared about him, she went right to treating him like dirt. Nowadays she strongarms this stance to guilt Evan into doing things for her such as free labor.
- Drama Queen: If she has been slighted or something does not go her way, she will throw the biggest hissy fit she can until someone does what she wants. She frequently injures people during tantrums, so if you can avoid one, do so.
- Dye Hard: Her hair is dyed purple. She's originally a brunette with black hair.
- Girl Posse: Has two girls who follow her: Jane Ikurosaba and Cambry Teelins. She briefly payed the F.N.i.A. girls to be one but since they refused to play the part and be utter jerks, she fired them.
- Hate Sink: She has nothing redeemable or good about her and her sole role is to be a villain the cast must tend to. Ironically enough, she's the nicest version of her character (Sara's character has existed since 2016 and those versions were even worse than this one).
- Idle Rich: She is likes to do absolutely nothing at all except whatever pleases her whims in contrast to her parents who are very much Non-Idle Rich.
- In-Series Nickname: Most refer to her as "Ms. Tyrant-O-Saurus Vex", calling to mind her tyrannical nature, T. Rex connotations and her habit of vexing people.
- Jerkass: Sara is one through and through.
- Karma Houdini: Sara puts on a façade of innocence and proper Southern grace around anyone who could get her in trouble (parents, teachers etc.). Because of this, she regularly gets away with tormenting and forcing students to do as she says. The Older Trio are simply counting down until her warranty runs out.
- Make Way for the Princess: She insists on people acting this way and has her posse force students to obey. Most take the opportunity to trip her however.
- Manipulative Bastard: She is an expert at manipulation and playing the masses with trickery and deception.
- Meaningful Name: "Sara" means "princess" in Hebrew and she certainly acts like she is one. Vextant contains the word "vex" meaning make someone feel annoyed, angry and so on.
- Narcissist: She's self-absorbed and only cares about herself, though whether she actually has Narcissistic Personality Disorder is unknown.
- Never My Fault: She will never admit to wrongdoing, ever, and any confessions have to be forced out.
- Pride: She could give Lucifer a run for his money with how prideful and self-absorbed she is.
- Rich Bitch: She comes from wealth and flaunts it like it's the newest thing on the block.
- Rich in Dollars, Poor in Sense: Sara likes to use money to solve her problems and get her what she wants. Her parents have repeatedly taught her the value of money, but it never sticks.
- Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: She frequently uses her exorbitant allowance to buy herself out of trouble. She also throws cash around like is grass in a field at the slightest mishap or problem, or even just for fun.
- Screw the Rules, I'm Beautiful!: She tries to invoke this but it rarely ever works. Though she is good-looking, her obviously horrible attitude does her no favors.
- Spoiled Brat: Played with. Her parents don't actually spoil her outside of a larger-than-should-be-allowance (even then, they have good reasoning), but her behavior would make you think her parents just handed her the world and let her run it.
- The Fashionista: Subverted. She thinks of herself as one and looks to be one, but she is anything but if her drawings are to be believed.
