Go To

Yugi and friends spectate a duel between girl duelists Rebecca and Vivian while Rex and Weevil try to sneak in the tournament.

Tropes:

  • Bad Boss: Kaiba admits to having locked all his employees without food or water in order to force them to buy his merchandise. He also plans to make Mokuba hose them down after hearing that they plan to strike.
  • Blah, Blah, Blah: Yugi's explanation for how Chaining card effects work in the game comes out as a series of blahs for Joey and Tristan.
  • Casual Kink: Fortune Salim is known to be a popular and beloved member of the kink community.
  • Chick Magnet: Just like in canon, Joey and Tristan applaud Yugi for winning the attention of countless girls and ask for his secret.
Yugi: I'm a main character in an anime; I don't actually do anything! It just happens!
  • Cold Open: Florence goes into a grim monologue of how he'll take sweet revenge on the Pharoah for everyone to see. But he learns from a disembodied voice that the Pharoah is busy in an amusement park.
  • Continuity Nod: Rebecca summons Injection Fairy Lily and mentions how she's fresh from the movie. Joey insists that they don't talk about that.
  • Designated Girl Fight: The theme of the episode revolved around girl duelists fighting each other with the Yu-Gi-Oh! cast criticizing the whole spectacle.
  • The Greatest Story Never Told: Joey laments that they missed a duel between Sherlock Holmes and a cowboy and muses that it must have been more interesting then Rebecca vs Vivian.
  • Has a Type: True to his infatuation with dragons, Kaiba is ecstatic to hear that there's a Dragon Lady in Vivian's deck. Although he shows hesitation because of the fact that she's a human, he still decides to fap to her...
  • Hypocritical Humor:
    • Rebecca belittles Vivian for having a deck made of women monsters. But she eats her words when she finds that her deck is full of women and girl monsters too.
    • The guys openly nitpick the girls for not understanding the rules of Duel Monsters when they themselves are just as guilty of playing without following the rules.
  • Is This Thing Still On?: Kaiba goes on a rant to clarify that he's never been fucked by anyone only to realize that he said it in the intercom for all the patrons to hear.
  • The Main Characters Do Everything: Played For Black Comedy. Kaiba notices that the park is concernedly empty and the focus has mainly been on Yugi and friends. He learns from Roland that it's because all the other park attendees are forcibly trapped in the Kaiba Dome with many of them passing out from heat exhaustion.
  • No Sympathy: Vivian points out that Rebecca only won her duel with Yugi because he was too busy taking care of his grandpa who just got out of the hospital. Rebecca isn't bothered in the slightest about it.
  • Noodle Incident:
    • Professor Hawkins assures everyone that Grandpa has broken his back before while being horny for Chun-Li.
    • Yugi doesn't like taking the Pharaoh on horror rides since he always hides in the puzzle because he's scared and how his face never shows up in the pictures at the end.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Sure, Let's Go with That: Kaiba says this word for word after Roland assures everyone that it'll be fine for the girls to duel near a train when he really meant to say was that it'll be great for ratings.
  • Tempting Fate: Rebecca didn't want to bring out her Cure Mermaid card since she didn't want the duel to be filled with Disney references. Cue Joey showing up singing Under the Sea.
  • Territorial Smurfette: Tea isn't happy to see other girl duelists as they can take away her position as the "useless shonen girl anime" character.
Tea: I've done so little to deserve the role and I'm not about to start now!
  • That Came Out Wrong: After realizing his mistake, Kaiba orders Roland to find a way to salvage the situation while blaming Wheeler. Roland conveys his order as making sure that Kaiba did indeed fuck and that Joey Wheeler was involved. His boss agrees, only to realize that the mic is still on.
  • That Wasn't a Request:
    • Professor Hawkins tells Yugi and friends to go see his granddaughter duel. While Yugi asserts that he's not interested in going, the Professor asks if he stuttered.
    • Near the end, Tristan tells his friend to put on Beast Wars. He doesn't even care when Yugi argues that the show hasn't aired for years.
  • Too Kinky to Torture: Salim isn't bothered by being stripped and tied up given his open love of kinks.
  • Yank the Dog's Chain: Self-Inflicted no less, as Salim turns out to be fans of Rex and Weevil, though they ignore him and beat him up for his costume anyway.
