SMG4 and SMG3 have never been the best of friends, so it comes off as an unpleasant surprise for them when they wake up one day to find their hands stuck together. The two are forced to turn to Mario for help, and when directly freeing them fails him, their dim-witted friend runs off to find help, which comes in the form of the returning SMG1 and SMG2. Can they and Mario teach the two guardians the value of teamwork?
- Ass Shove: As revenge for sticking them together, SMG3 throws Mario through a pipe, sending him to a room with Inspector Gadget, who calls "go go gadget brown bricks in your ass".
- The Bus Came Back: This is the first plot-important role for SMGs 1 & 2 (and SMG2's first speaking role) since "All I Want for Christmas is for Mario to FREAKIN BEHAVE".
- Chained Heat: SMG3 and SMG4 somehow have their hands stuck together throughout the episode. They then later have to cooperate to clear an obstacle course while still stuck together in order to save Mario (and SMG3's notebook).
- Continuity Nod: The instrumental of WOFTI 2020’s rap battle plays once SMG4 and SMG3 figure out how to do the obstacle course.
- Faint in Shock: SMG1 faints once he learns that the "spell" either he or SMG2 cast was actually chewing gum Mario lost at some point before the episode.
- Funny Background Event: When SMG3 is trying to pass off what he did last night as "MANLY, evil things!", a visibly disturbed Melony can be seen sliding a brick wall over the hole that SMG3 made.
- Grievous Harm with a Body: Once SMGs 3 and 4 finally get into the swing of things with the obstacle course, SMG3 is able to fight off some Piranha Plants by swinging SMG4 around like a giant nunchaku.
- Not Me This Time: SMGs 3 and 4 accuse Mario of somehow sticking their hands together, but the plumber denies involvement, prompting them to reluctantly ask his help. Then they find out their hands are stuck together with chewing gum and who that gum belongs to…
- Real Men Wear Pink: SMG3 spent last night having a tea party with Eggdog. He tries to pass it off as him doing "manly and evil" things.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: It turns out Mario carelessly left his chewing gum lying around, and either SMG3 or SMG4 are implied to have touched it by accident, hence the whole mess. Unfortunately for Mario, SMG3 doesn't take this revelation too well.
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: The duo are forced to go through SMG1 and SMG2's obstacle course to get SMG3's "Super Sussy Notebook" from Mario at the end of the course, all the while stuck holding hands. Initially unable to even talk to each other without contempt, the two finally get serious when their mentors add a giant, flaming garbage bag hovering over Mario to motivate them into going faster.
- Your Television Hates You: SMG4 and SMG3 crash into the former's computer while being flung around the room, and it promptly plays the "Why are u gae" meme in response to them holding hands.
- Zombie Apocalypse: SMG4 and SMG3 would have gone to the doctor to easily free them, but a zombie outbreak is currently taking place there due to the staff neglecting the Medic's warnings, and he's promptly dragged off to his doom. This prompts 3 and 4 to ask Mario for help rather than suffer more.
