Narrator: Gira's survival was concealed by the other monarchs.
However, both the Bognaarok and Racules continue their pursuit of him.
The kings fight to defend their nations, while attempting to monopolize Gira's power.
Gira ends up being captured by the Bognaarok, leaving the world within seconds to Armageddon!
Only scant time remains until the five cocoons in the great kingdoms open.
It seems that mankind's only choice is to wait for a miracle to occur...
...Or so the story goes.

The other monarchs have fallen with new cocoon bombs planted in their kingdoms, while Gira has been captured by Dethnaarok. If there's any chance of a miracle, the alliance needs to start working together. However, they resign to their own fates, returning to their kingdoms with little hope.

Luckily, Gira has a secret weapon. With all three Greater Shugods on his side, King-Ohger can achieve its true form!

Tropes

  • An Aesop: It's okay to ask for help.
  • Anger Born of Worry: Yanma snaps at Hymeno when Shiokara remains unconscious despite his treatment. It's clear that he's more worried than anything, and he restrains himself when he sees her standing over the unconscious Sebastian.
  • Armor-Piercing Question:
    • Shiokara gives one to Yanma while questioning the latter's choices for the people's safety.
"You might be our king, but you're our Yanma first! And if you give up on having the top spot... who the hell are you then?!"
    • When Rita insists on carrying on with their I Work Alone attitude, Morphonia - through Moffun - questions how asking for help is a bad idea when the world is going to end.
  • Badass Boast: In a show of their newfound alliance, the newly dubbed "Ohsama Sentai" repeat the words of the legend to call upon the power of Legend King-Ohger.
Yanma: "One may be king, but so are two... much as the third, fourth, and fifth are all kings!"
Hymeno: "Without hierarchy, these are heroic souls pursuing legendary grandeur!"
Kaguragi: "Though there was great disorder between them, for the sake of their people, they stand united!"
Rita: "Forsaking their solitude, they join together as warriors clad in crowns."
Gira: We are... (raises his sword) ...the Ohsama Sentai!
All: (raises their swords along with Gira) It's time for your advent... Legend King-Ohger!
  • Bathos: The scene where Morphonia divulges her feelings to Rita is slightly undercut by the fact that she's using the giant Moffun as an intermediary between them.
  • Beneath the Mask: At the end when the crisis has been averted, Racules, taking the credit for the victory, is seen putting up a cheery front for Shugoddam's citizens when in actuality he's seething with anger because he was unable to put the other four rulers under his thumb.
  • Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Kamejin telling Dethnaarok that he has something big planned, while the mysterious narrator finally decides to step into the conflict himself.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Legend King-Ohger easily takes out the five Kaijim, thanks to the sheer power of the newfound alliance.
  • Darkest Hour: For the series thus far. With the kings' defeat and no way to stop the impending hatching of all five Kaijim coccoons, our heroes have lost all hope to the point of even considering Racules' offer. It's only after a pep talk from their aides do they finally regain confidence to try and Take a Third Option.
  • Didn't Think This Through: As Yanma points out, despite their grand and noble intentions, none of them have a real concrete strategy for how to deal with the cocoons.
Yanma: So, this is the part where we didn't have an actual plan.
  • Heroic BSoD: The four royals take their losses pretty hard, ready to leave behind their kingdoms. Their attendants, inspired by Gira's resolve, all cheer them up by saying they're not alone.
  • History Repeats: During the opening Flashback, Gira and Kogane talk about the original King-Ohgers, who supposedly formed Legend King-Ohger with Teeth-Clenched Teamwork; as reflected in their Badass Boast. By the end of the episode, the King-Ohgers (who've spent all show backstabbing and squabbling) do the same thing - forming a proper coalition using the same boast.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Racules claims in his threat to the other kings that if they submit to him his humanitarian aid will be able to save Tikyū, despite his insistence that even the mighty Physical God King-Ohger is unable to defeat five giant Kaijims all across the world at once. Though his mention of "uneven casualties" suggests he intends to go by The Needs of the Many.
  • Let No Crisis Go to Waste: Racules' response to the nations' demolition at the hands of the Boggnarok is to offer them humanitarian aid in exchange for their submission. It's one of the few times Kaguragi breaks his toady persona and shows genuine disgust.
  • Meaningful Echo: The monarchs recite the prophecy of Legend King-Ohger as their Badass Boast to signify their team spirit. A flashback at the start of the episode showed Gira and Kogane discussing what the prophecy meant.
  • Meaningless Villain Victory: While Racules does take credit for saving the day, and the monarchs let him, you can tell he, at best, considers it a Pyrrhic Victory since he didn't get what he really wanted: Control over the other rulers, their Shugods, and their kingdoms.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business:
    • Kaguragi, utterly appalled by Racules' ultimatum, gets genuinely angry at him for trying to bring politics in a time of crisis.
    • In contrast to his usual confidence, Yanma is shown to be on the verge of tears for half of the episode, clearly close to having a breakdown. Also, during his argument with Shiokara, he refers to himself as the king instead of his preferred title as president, showing how badly the situation is getting to him.
  • The Reveal: The cocoon "bombs" crack open to reveal the Kaijim previously defeated by King-Ohger.
  • Sadistic Choice: Racules promises to save the other countries only if they pledge loyalty to him. But they defy him and work with Gira to form Legend King-Ohger and vanquish the five Kaijim.
  • Silly Rabbit, Cynicism Is for Losers!: Hymeno has faith in Gira's ability to communicate with the Shugods; convinced that securing him is the solution they're looking for. The other rulers essentially call her naïve for believing in what they see as a pipe-dream (Rita even calls working together the "least realistic option of them all") and resolve to forfeit their territories to protect their peoples instead of unifying. Emotional pleas from their aides convince them to put more at-stake and unify; eventually forming Legend King-Ohger and proving Hymeno right.
  • Skewed Priorities: True to form, Racules is far more concerned with stealing power from the other monarchs than the colossal danger humanity is in.
  • Team Spirit: After squabbling and backstabbing each other for the past 9 episodes, the alliance finally comes together to restore Legend King-Ohger in all of its glory.
  • Tempting Fate: Racules' threat hinges on his insistence that King-Ohger itself is incapable of defeating five giant Kaijims across the world all at once. Legend King-Ohger proves him wrong by flying all over Tikyū at incredible speed to send the five Kaijims gathered into one spot before finishing them all at once.
  • You Are Not Alone: When the monarchs set out to protect their countries alone, all of their aides emphasize in their speeches that it's okay to rely on them and their kingdoms for help. This is what pushes them to finally unite as one team.

Narrator: And so, mankind was once again saved by a miracle.
Racules immediately claimed credit for what had transpired, though the other four kings did not argue otherwise.
Meanwhile, Gira Husty remained in hiding.
The Bognaarok, soundly defeated, fled deep underground... or so it seemed.
This battle is far from over... I suppose I can no longer afford to keep sleeping, huh?
