- Calling the Old Man Out: Upon finding out about Laura's secret spell, an enraged and betrayed Chrissy spends the latter half of the episode giving Laura an earful, accusing her of keeping Chrissy from having a normal childhood through their constant moving, telling her how her life was going nowhere until she had her and ignoring any excuse Laura spits out.
- Country Matters: From Chrissy to Laura in a moment of rage.Chrissy: You evil, fucking CUNT!!!
- Double Standard Rape: Female on Male: Discussed. When Laura finds out that the teacher who got arrested for statutory rape in "Popularity: Origin of Evil" is back to teaching, Laura remarks that this is because America is fine with pedophiles if they're women.
- Downer Ending: The episode ends with the house being destroyed after Laura and Chrissy's brawl, their relationship strained after Chrissy reads Laura's journal thanks to Satan, and Satan completely getting away with his horrible actions.
- Inciting Incident: The conflict that overwhelms the episode starts when Laura finds a dish in the sink, leading to a slow but sure escalation between Chrissy and Laura.

- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Darlene actually invites Satan to help out her and Bennigan in ending the feud between Chrissy and Laura. Bennigan actually calls her out on this, telling her that he's clearly planning on making the fight worse and bring Chrissy closer to his side. Darlene doesn't believe this... until Satan straight-up says that's exactly what he plans to do. And he does.
- Rage Breaking Point: As the argument between Chrissy and Laura develops into an all-out fight, it truly starts when Laura makes a crack about Chrissy's actions toward Bennigan in "The Antichrist's Monster"Chrissy: You're like a roided-out toddler! The only thing you're good at is breaking shit!
Laura: I'm the destroyer right, right. After what you did to your friend?
Chrissy: Don't you fucking go there!
Laura: Oh, what? Don't talk about how you turned your "best friend" into a fucking blob monster?!
Chrissy: (rising up and summoning a whole squadron of cockroaches) YOOOU ASSHOOOOOOOLE!! - The Reveal: Laura learned, and attempted to use, a time-travel spell to take herself back to a time before she met Satan and had Chrissy. She did this when Chrissy was much younger and both were still on the run. When Chrissy learns this upon reading her mother's secret diary (thanks to Satan), she does not take this well and it drives a further wedge between her and Laura.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Darlene and Bennigan try to intervene in Laura and Chrissy's fight, but after realizing that neither Chrissy nor Laura seem to care about the damage they're doing, they decide to go off and find a karaoke bar instead.
