- Buffy Speak: Sarisse feels Melsa's zombie costume isn't super zombie-y.
- Compelling Voice: Akasha makes two thugs stop attempting to try and steal food in the Halidom. Of course she realizes too late they could just go and eat the candy houses.
- Cute Monster Girl: Melsa dresses up as a zombie for Halloween, but she's just too cute to be believably scary. It's when she comes up with the plan to disguise herself as one of the actual zombies that Sarisse, Akasha and a priest help her out.
- A Day in the Limelight: This is one for Akasha and Melsa.
- Halloween Episode: The episode takes place during Halloween in the Halidom.
- It Only Works Once: The rokkans make a weapon for Melsa that only has one shot and not to use it at point blank range cause it's that powerful. That something was a manacaster shot at the mage.
- I Need to Go Iron My Dog: Melsa is quite scared of Akasha's vampire costume and says she and Sarisse are gonna get candy from Euden.
- Laser-Guided Karma: The mage with the Legion Immortalis causes a couple bandits to hole up in the Halidom and cause a small amount of trouble before they fight to stall the zombies' advance during Akasha and Melsa's push. When the zombies and heroines leave, the bandits catch up to the mage and have some Halloween fun of their own...
- Mr. Exposition: Akasha is this for the origin of the zombies.
- Our Zombies Are Different: These zombies behave like any other, but it turns out there's a special incantation that unseals the memories from their past life]]. Akasha exploits this to unbind the zombies from the mage's control, and even allows them to join the festivities until the break of dawn, whereupon they return to peaceful rest.
- Pretend We're Dead: Melsa takes some lessons on how to properly act like a zombie to blend in with them. It only works so well...
- No-Sell: Ranzal learns the hard way about zombies when one keeps going forward.Ranzal: Okay, I just hit that guy in about six different vital organs. How come he ain't face down in the dirt?
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Akasha's eyes flash red when telling the thugs that they're not going to try and raid the Halidom for food.
- Tome of Eldritch Lore: The Legion Immortalis is what allowed the caster to raise an army of zombies from the Second War of Binding.
- The Vamp: Akasha has always been one on her own, but she plays it up as a vampire.
- Zombie Apocalypse: The event starts with an imperial mage starting one by performing a ritual to raise an undead army.
