Get the Yoyleite! It's For Science!

The seventh episode of Battle for Dream Island Again, the 32nd episode chronologically, and the 70th episode of the overall series. Rocky is eliminated, TV is sent to the Locker of Losers, and because TV has the key and Rocky can't get into the LOL, the featured challenge is to build a new place for the eliminated contestants.

"Intruder Alert" contains examples of:

  • Ambiguous Syntax: Golf Ball tells Fries to "glue", but because she didn't specify to glue the planks together, he glues her to a tree.
  • Bad Liar: Firey Speaker Box claims that their increased budget is thanks to his friend Lewisnote  winning the lottery... right next to the unconscious combined bodies of Coiny and Nickel spewing money out of a portal. Luckily, Fries believes him.
  • Bait-and-Switch: When Fries asks TV if he can produce a nicer Cake at Stake song, TV says that he can. He sits down at a piano to play the new Cake at Stake song... and then bangs his head on the keyboard.
  • Blatant Lies: Firey telling FreeSmart the challenge is to kill your teammates before telling them the challenge is to burn down Yoyle City, despite neither even being on the wheel. By the time FreeSmart figured that Firey might have been lying, they ran out of time.
  • Cool and Unusual Punishment: W.O.A.H. Bunch build a replacement loser chamber filled with chainsaws, crushers, handcuffs, and posters of Flower.
  • Did Not Think This Through: Firey and Gelatin switching to FreeSmart and sabotaging them to the point that they lose means they are also up to be eliminated.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: TV making a bad Cake at Stake song, according to Golf Ball, is justification for locking him up in the TLC.
  • Dreadful Musician: TV's latest attempt at a Cake at Stake song is simply him banging his head on a piano. Fries and Golf Ball hate this so much, they tell Firey Speaker Box to send TV to the TLC, even though TV isn't even a contestant.
  • Eat the Bomb: The grape flavoring W.O.A.H. Bunch put in the water turns out to be the ground-up remains of Bomby.
  • Foreshadowing: Pin refers to the flavor of the grape flavored water as "explosive." The flavoring would later be revealed to be the ground-up remains of Bomby, the flavoring also being explosive itself.
  • Fun with Acronyms: Team No-Name's replacement loser chamber is called the "Weak Trembling Fortress". Doubles as a dose of Demographically Inappropriate Humour.
  • Half the Woman She Used to Be:
  • Hand Wave: This episode provides one for the contestants not eliminated by BFDIA 6 being free by the time of IDFB, alongside TV being in the TLC. TV was eliminated for failing once again to make a good Cake at Stake song, but stole the key to the LOL to lock himself and the rest of the eliminated contestants inside of the TLC. Without a way to properly eliminate Rocky, the challenge of the episode is to make a new loser chamber. Thanks to FreeSmart being unable to compete and Needle accidentally blowing up her team and their own loser chamber, the new official loser chamber is the Weak Trembling Fortress, a pile of boards so flimsily built that the eliminated contestants could easily leave any time they wanted.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: The grape-flavored powder packet used by W.O.A.H. Bunch to flavor and drink the water in the Aerospace Manufacturing Plant is later revealed to be the ground-up remains of Bomby after being dyed purple as his reward, a color Yellow Face absolutely hates. When combined with fiery hot chili peppers...
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Since FreeSmart was in space, they didn't hear the challenge reveal, which Firey Speaker Box refuses to restate. As such they cannot finish the challenge by default, especially with Firey and Gelatin giving them fake challenges under the pretense that those were the challenge.
  • LOL, 69/420, Blaze It: When the amount of votes is seemingly revealed (69,548), Coiny laments that it wasn't 128 votes lower, or in other words, is sad it wasn't 69,420.
  • Malicious Misnaming: When Pin says that it's no big deal that the LOL is locked and TV took the key, Firey Speaker Box calls her "Pinhead" and says that it is a big deal.
  • Might as Well Not Be in Prison at All: Rocky gets sent to Team No-Name's new TLC, the Weak Trembling Fortress, but it's so flimsily-made that he could easily escape whenever he wants.
  • The Mole: Firey and Gelatin get sent by Tennis Ball to be teammates on FreeSmart for just this episode, so they can get their hands on Ruby's Yoyleite for him. When the challenge begins, or rather, FreeSmart realizes they don't know what the challenge is, they keep giving them fake challenges as a distraction to ensure their failure.
  • Overly Long Gag: In response to the vote counter breaking, Firey Speaker Box explains that it was the first time the sixth digit was used, the first time the fifth digit was used, the sixth time the fourth digit was used, the eighteenth time the third digit was used, the twenty-seventh time the second digit was used the and the twenty-fourth time the first digit was used, as opposed to just explaining the highest digits as per usual.
  • "Pop!" Goes the Human: In The Stinger, W.O.A.H. Bunch explodes when the chili peppers they eat react with Bomby's gunpowder.
  • Precision F-Strike: Fries' reaction to W.O.A.H. Bunch's loser chamber exploding, leaving only Team No-Name's loser chamber, is an agitated "WTF". This prompts Firey Speaker Box to reveal its name, the Weak Trembling Fortress.
  • Shout-Out:
    • Bomby's line "I love being purple!" may be one to The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
    • A double one to The Yogscast:
      • Firey Speaker Box introduces his friend Lewis, who is 39 years oldnote  and is said to love digging holes.
      • TV's second attempt at a new Cake at Stake song is just him using a clip from their Cake Defense video where Simon tells Lewis, "there's cake at stake!" Lampshaded by Golf Ball when she says "Bad music, and now stealing?"
  • Suspiciously Specific Denial: When Fries asks Firey Speaker Box where he got all the money to produce a fancy new intro, FSB (who caused a money explosion by stacking Coiny and Nickel on top of each other) replies, "Definitely not illegal money laundering."
  • Thunderbolt Iron: Ruby grabs a meteoroid that was blazing past, which Tennis Ball identifies as Yoyleite, a rare metal that he contemplates leaving the team over to grab. Once he reveals that he sent Firey and Gelatin to join FreeSmart temporarily to retrieve it to Golf Ball, she completely understands his reasoning and allows this exception to the team's no-switching pledge to go through.
  • Title Drop: Done by Ruby when Firey and Gelatin temporarily switch to FreeSmart in order to get their hands on a piece of Yoyleite Ruby caught while floating in space.
  • Troll: When they temporarily join FreeSmart, Firey and Gelatin refuse to tell them what the challenge is, and decide to mess with them by making up fake challenges. When Firey tells Ruby the challenge is to kill all her teammates, Gelatin says that maybe he and Firey are taking their trolling a little bit too far.
  • Unusually Uninteresting Sight: While he does make note of the first time the 6th digit was used, the first time the 5th digit was used, the sixth time the 4th digit was used and so on and so forth, Firey Speaker Box makes no mention of the sudden jump in the vote count from last episode. This is because the votes for BFDIA 6 were tallied back during BFDIA's initial run, but BFDIA 7's votes were called and tallied during the new run, after the show got ever-more popular with BFB and TPOT.
  • Who's on First?: The following exchange between Firey Speaker Box and Fries in The Stinger:
Firey Speaker Box: Well, W.O.A.H. Bunch's magnificent loser chamber was just destroyed! Guess Rocky will have to fall into Tennis Ball's loser chamber!
    Fries: WTF?!
Firey Speaker Box: That's correct! (adds a sign that says "Weak Trembling Fortress")
  • Who Would Be Stupid Enough?: When Firey gives FreeSmart the fake challenge to kill all their teammates, Gelatin says that they're not gullible enough to believe that. On cue, Ruby melts Ice Cube, rips Book in half, and shreds Pencil in a pencil sharpener.
Ruby: Trust me, I am desperate to win this contest.
