- Dropped a Bridge on Him: Evil Steve was built up as a huge threat at the beginning of the episode, but when he goes to kill the main Steve, he instantly dies when Principal Lewis accidentally runs him down with his car.

- Meet Your Early-Installment Weirdness: Hayley and another Hayley end up fighting across the multiverse. One of them is a universe where the show retains its early humor, animation style, and even aspect ratio. It's described as a universe where satire was effective.
