El Cuarteto de Nos is an Uruguayan rock group formed in 1980. Over the years, due to its particular sound that mixes elements of hip hop, alternative rock, comedy rock and Latin music, the group has developed an immense amount of popularity and praise in Latin America and Hispanic countries. His current members are Roberto Musso (guitar and vocals), Santiago Tavella (bass guitar and vocals), Álvaro Pintos (drums and vocals), Gustavo Antuña (guitar) andSantiago Marrero (keyboards)

  • Babysitter from Hell: The babysitter from the protagonist of "Hoy estoy raro" gave him valium and sacrificed his hamster and fed it to him

  • Barbaric Bully: Benito from "Buen día Benito" if the protagonist is telling the truth
  • Black Is Bigger in Bed: In "Fui Yo" the narrator says that he killed Martin Luther King Jr. because he had a bigger size than him

  • The Jinx: "El Innombrable"
  • Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life : It satirizes the trend in their song "Ya no sé qué hacer conmigo" ("I don't know what to do with myself anymore"). The song carries the trope to the logical extreme: when one tries too many (often contradictory) things, one tends to end as a Stepford Smiler of the mask-only type.

  • The Show Must Go On: In "El Payaso Carambola" the titular clown repeats this every time he's informed of a tragedy that happens with a loved one deconstructed later since he ends up hanging himself

  • Suspiciously Specific Denial: One of the interpretations of "Enamorado Tuyo" is that the singer is deeply in love with someone else but refuses to admit it, as such the singer admits "I almost never see your photo on my cell phone. It's still there because I'm too lazy to press "delete" " and "I almost never call to say I love you and more than once I did it to the wrong number"
  • The Unfavorite: "Revista ¡¡Esta!!"'s "Nadie me quiere" has the protagonist being sold by his parents as soon as he's born .
