  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Damon Gant, once a legendary police officer seeking to use any means necessary to bring down criminals, murders a prosecutor to pin the crime on a criminal and ensure his rise to chief of police. Gant also has his old partner installed as the head of the prosecutor's office, having clandestinely framed her sister as the murderer years ago, so he can control both the police and the prosecution, using blackmail on his old partner Lana. When a detective reopens the old case, Gant murders him and has Lana stab the corpse, resulting in her being framed, and Gant knowing she'll plead guilty to protect her sister. Despite his crimes, Gant operates with nothing short of whimsical good nature and accepts his defeat with good humor, claiming that at the end, he can leave the defense of the law to his rivals and one day they will understand the need to rise higher by any means to protect the law as a whole.
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Justice For All: Shelly De Killer is a notorious assassin who always leaves a calling card so that the authorities do not suspect his clients, and he is discrete enough that few people ever knew what he looked like. He remotely testifies and frames Adrian Andrews as his client to exonerate Engarde. When Phoenix reveals that Engarde intends to blackmail him, De Killer, who values a trusting relationship with his clients, declares his intention to kill Engarde and releases Maya. Later hired by Simon Keyes to kill the president of Zheng Fa, he expertly infiltrates the president's guard detail and overpowers most of the bodyguards, only fleeing when the lead guard, Ethan Rooke, injures him. Learning that Rooke was killed, he demands that Edgeworth be allowed to investigate the murder of the man who bested him. Deducing that the president was an imposter and that Keyes lied about his identity, he aids Edgeworth in his investigation into his client's plot. When Edgeworth exposes Keyes, De Killer attempts to kill Keyes, but relents at the request of Sirhan Dogen and proceeds to evade Interpol's pursuit. Operating with a charming demeanor and a strong code of honor, De Killer is a cunning and dangerous threat to his targets and any dishonest clients.
  • Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth: Years before the events of the game, the nameless spy for the Cohdopian smuggling ring created the fake identity of a playful defense attorney named Calisto Yew, pretending to be the sister of a woman murdered by the smuggling ring. She acted as one of the three members of the group, Yatagarasu, who were investigating the smuggling ring, with intentions to sabotage the group from the inside. She sets up prosecutor Byrne Faraday to be accused of being the Yatagarasu by criminal, Mack Rell, before murdering them both, quickly placing suspicion on Detective Gumshoe when deduced that the two couldn't have killed each other. Even when Edgeworth reveals that she's the true murderer, the spy manages to trick Edgeworth into giving her the Yatagarasu's key, her true objective, before escaping arrest. Later creating the persona of Shih-na, an enigmatic right hand woman to Shi-Long Lang, the spy acted as a mole within Interpol, and leaked information to the smuggling ring. When Quercus Alba murders the traitorous Manny Coachen, the spy creates a fire in order for the two to move the corpse between embassies to create confusion of where the crime scene occured. After Shi-Long Lang saves her life from Tyrell Badd, the spy gracefully accepts defeat and out of gratitude, gives information to Edgeworth to help him discover the truth about the case.

When Keyes falls under suspicion for the murder, Dogen has his attack dog take the victim's body into the prison and removes the chisel to decrease suspicion on Keyes. When confronted later on about being the mastermind, Dogen gracefully accepts defeat and reveals that the mastermind is his "acolyte" whose life he saved as a child. Despite being proven wrong by Phoenix that Athena is the killer of Metis and Clay, her testimony about seeing the killer in the current case holding the lighter-gun in the opposite hand from where Athena's prints are, allows the protagonists to arrest the Phantom.
