As is the case with all pages detailing Heartwarming Moments, Spoilers Off

  • While staying over following the USJ attack, Ochako finds Izuku's notebook and reads her entry. Not only is it much more detailed than some of his other analyses, but he'd also started brainstorming team names and combo moves for when they graduated, meaning Izuku plans to stick with Ochako whether or not he gets One For All. Ochako is so moved that reading her entry is ultimately what causes her Love Epiphany.
  • The day after this, Izuku and Ochako go out on a "totally not a date", and have a lot of fun. They also get to check Dagobah Beach, and it turns out that their efforts to clean it up paid off, and now it is a popular spot for families and couples.
  • Even if the playing got somewhat marred by their competitiveness, the Dekusquad has a great time together at Tenya's home.
  • When Eri wakes up after fainting, she asks about Izuku and Ochako. The two go into her hospital room, slowly bring her out of her shell and manage to establish a great rapport with her.
    • Officer Tamakawa (a man with a Quirk that gives him a cat's head) comes to ask Eri about what she can remember, and she says "Kitty!" when she sees the man. Then, when Eri has difficulty pronouncing the officer's name, he tells her she can call him "Officer Kitty" if she wants.
    • The issue of Eri's future comes up, and Tsukauchi mentions that having the girl put into the child service system or sent to a medical facility is something that truly does not appeal to him. Inko offers to take her in. Izuku hugs his mother, and Eri then hugs Izuku.
    • All Might brings Izuku and Ochako aside and tells them he's very proud of them.
  • The Dekusquad expresses their worry for Izuku when they learn how bad things were with Bakugo before U.A.
  • All Might, in his Yagi identity, invites Ochako's parents so they can watch the Sports Festival at the stadium.
  • When it finally falls on Izuku and Ochako that they might end up having to fight each other at some point, the narration wonders if their friendship will stand the test. The answer? Yes.
  • During this story's version of the sports festival, the cavalry game is replaced with a capture the flag game. And as a result, the 10,000,000 point headband is replaced with a black flag worth zero points on its own, but guaranteed to cause an instant defeat to Izuku's team in the event they lose it as well as an automatic victory to any rival team that successfully takes it. But unlike in canon with the 10,000,000 point headband, when this news about the black flag causes a large number of the other students not on his team start directing meaningful looks towards him as if gunning for him in this story, Izuku does not have to wait nearly as long to find out he's not alone. For this time, he already has Himiko, Tenya, Momo, and Denki teamed up with him, and they all step forward and glare at the other three teams in a clear 'you want to go after him? You'll have to go through me' look on their faces. And even the two 1-B students on their team, Reiko Yanagi and Neito Monoma, despite the both of them standing a little bit away from the 1-A students and the latter having more of an arrogant smirk on his face in the process, meaningfully glare in the other teams' direction.
  • Toga tells Izuku about her Quirk (blood-based transformation) and fully expects to react with disgust. Izuku not only doesn't show rejection but expresses interest in how it works and even offers to let Toga take blood from him from time to time when her urges become too bad.
    • After the fight with Ochako, she reveals her Quirk to the rest of the class. All of them agree that there's nothing wrong with it and show disgust at how her parents forced her to suppress it.
  • Izuku encouraging Hatsume to not use her fight as a sales pitch and then throw it away but instead to give her all in their match by using her support equipment in the battle. Although the end result is that many of Hatsume's inventions were destroyed, the fight ends up sparking a higher interest in her work than in canon.
  • Toga and Ochako becoming friends after their fight while also acknowledging that they both love Izuku. While the story is clear on who is Izuku's spouse from the start, it's good to see that the three will probably avoid much of the heartbreak and straining of relationships that comes from a Love Triangle.
  • After her fight with Todoroki, which she only lost because she didn't push hard enough when she had Todoroki in her hands and ready to be thrown out, Ochako is visited at the infirmary by the Dekusquad, her parents, Inko, Eri, and All Might, who congratulate her on her hard work and the good job she has done during the entire festival.
  • After Izuku manages to help out Shouto and makes him use his fire side, the latter repays the favor by forcing the fight into a single draw scenario so that the match ends with a clear winner and not through the intervention of the teachers.
  • When Izuku collapses from going Plus Ultra in his fight against Todoroki, Ochako uses her Quirk on herself and jumps into the arena to catch him before he falls. A fall that Shouto helps to mitigate by using his ice to create snow.
  • Ochako helps Izuku into a wheelchair by using a Bridal Carry. Izuku most definitely enjoys it.
  • In the aftermath of the Festival, Ochako tells Himiko that, if she ever finds herself in need of it, she can give her blood to tide her over - just like Izuku did. Himiko is floored that Ochako is such a kind person to do something like that for her and that she's friends with two of the nicest people in the world.
  • During their daily session after the Festival, Himiko tells Midnight about her reveals to her classmates. While hidden between the Snark-to-Snark Combat, it is obvious that Midnight is proud of her for her advancements and willingness to change.
  • Izuku admits to Ochako he doesn't want her to meet his father because he doesn't want her to have to deal with him. Ochako appreciates that - but on the other hand, she'd rather be there if only to punch the scumbag in the mouth every time he opens it.
  • Izuku makes it clear that, if Hisashi attempts to kick Eri out, he will not be happy.
  • Ochako tells Izuku that she loves his ideas for super moves and team names - one of them in particular.
  • Izuku and Inko consoling Eri after she has a nightmare about Overhaul coming for her.
  • After the encounter at the train, Ochako (quite jealous over the girls that fawned over Izuku) asks if he had fun getting photos with them. Izuku replies that, if he wants to have fun getting his picture taken, he'd rather go to a photo booth with Ochako.
  • During the hero name choosing class, several events stand out.
    • Ochako and Toga are third and fourth in the number of internship requests.
    • Hitoshi's choice, Override, gets approval from his classmates.
    • Toga picks Carmilla, which everyone agrees fits her. Before that, Izuku and Ochako were cheering on her, wanting to know her choice.
    • Izuku goes with his canon choice, and explains how one person completely changed the meaning of it. Ochako is overwhelmed to learn how much of an impact she made on him.
    • Nearly everybody loves the name Izuku and Ochako have picked for their future team: Green Tea.
    • Tenya doesn't pick anything initially, but Izuku convinces him that, if his brother told him to take up Ingenium, it was because he thought him capable of proving himself worthy.
  • During lunch, Todoroki comes to thank Izuku for helping him during the Sports Festival and also apologizes to Ochako for not taking her seriously. Izuku decides to ask him to join them at lunch.
  • When Himiko finds out that Tenya is doing his internship with Manual in Hosu City, she demands to be allowed to intern in Hosu as well, because she'll be damned if she doesn't do anything to protect her friend from Stain. Midnight, recognizing the sincerity in her request, gives her an application to intern with Manual, as well.
  • In a way, Aizawa's criticism of Izuku's actions at the USJ. The main reason he's strict with Izuku is because he wants him to be the best hero he can be and not risk his life needlessly.
  • All Might makes time to have tea and speak with Ochako alone because even with Izuku becoming the future holder of One for All, she's still his protegĂ©e.
  • While giving blood for Himiko, Ochako asks her if she's ever thought about taking courses to become a field medic. Himiko says she would have to be a good person to do that kind of stuff. Izuku sincerely says he thinks she's a good person, throwing her for a loop again.
  • Fatgum cheers Momo up during her internship, praising her intelligence and promising to help her be more proactive with planning.
  • After learning about All for One, Izuku is scared out of his mind and accidentally calls Ochako while trying to make up his mind to decide what to do. When Izuku relays his fears of not being up to the task, Ochako immediately replies that she knows he is more than capable of being the Ninth Torchbearer.
  • Iida immediately jumps in to defend Toga when a pair of bigoted prison guards start threatening her while she's on patrol with him and Manual. Even in the depths of his Revenge Before Reason, Iida is still proud to call Toga his friend and asks that she be treated with decency and respect.
  • Himiko pays it back when she finds Tenya paralyzed by Stain. Interrupting Stain before he can kill Tenya, she declares that, while she considers herself a monster, Tenya is still her friend, and she's going to save him.
  • After the Hosu battle, Himiko finally reveals everything that she did during her time on the streets. Her friends quickly assure her that she is still their friend and trying to improve.
    • Tenya has a harder time at knowing what to do, due to his By-the-Book Cop attitude, but after a chat with Principal Nezu, he returns and tells Himiko that, while he does agree she was a monster, she no longer is, and not only does he think she can become the good person Izuku and Ochako already see her as, but he is willing to stand with her and help her achieve that goal. Himiko is reduced to Tender Tears over her straightlaced friend's willingness to help her.
  • Himiko is aghast when Izuku reveals that he doesn't think a girl could actually love him. She proceeds to show him otherwise by giving him his First Kiss.
  • In hindsight, the Support Course subjecting Himiko to their madness: once the truth about her past comes out Mei reveals that the entire Support Course had already figured out she had killed people (they had in fact a bet on her having killed more or less than fifty people)... And also figured out that if the teachers trusted her enough to let her go around armed then they could trust her too.
  • After Himiko's past comes to light and Nezu calls 1-A's parents for a conference to explain about their actions, Izuku decides to sneak into U.A. so he can check on Himiko. Uraraka and Eri join him.
    • The trio catch Himiko as she's attempting to run away. Izuku and Ochako grab her by the arms and drag her back to her room.
    • Izuku sends a message to their friends so they learn about his plan - only he accidentally sends it to all of 1-A instead of the Dekusquad. 1-A answers by quickly coordinating and sneaking into U.A. as well, reassuring Himiko that, while they still need time to come to terms with the news, they want her to stick around as their classmate. Even Bakugo. Himiko breaks down crying at their demonstration of their faith that she can prove herself a heroine.
    • Then, Izuku suggests that 1-A, as a group, go to the conference so they can make it clear where they stand. The decision becomes unanimous.
      • And when they interrupt, Izuku stands against the teachers and parents and states that 1-A does not care what the parents, U.A. or the HPSC decide: they are going to be heroes, and they are going to save Himiko. Even when Endeavor states that their plans are bound for disillusionment, none of them back down.
  • When Izuku and Ochako are getting their clothes done in a very posh and expensive shop, Ochako points out she wouldn't fit in a supermodel's dress. Izuku outright states she doesn't need to, because she's a lot more beautiful than any model out there.
  • Izuku overhears Ochako and Himiko talk about how the former loves him - only to take Ochako's joke about him being a distraction too seriously. When Himiko finds him and realizes what happened, she all but kicks his ass for thinking something so stupid and encourages him to confess to her.
    • When Ochako later learns of this, she runs to Izuku's house to reassure them that she doesn't think he's a distraction, and offers to take back what she said to Himiko - so they can properly confess to each other later on.
  • Izuku notices during the exam that Tsuyu has fallen for Himiko. He talks with her in private and makes sure she means well for Himiko and how to work out with Himiko's quirks.
  • After Ochako tells Mineta to "grow up" during their exam, Mineta complains about it because it hits on part of his bad childhood. The two end up connecting over their past and desire to become heroes for mundane reasons and they manage to work and pass the exam together.
  • The main reason why Izuku hasn't confessed to Ochako yet? He's trying to find the perfect place for it, so everything will be perfect.
    • When All Might tells Izuku about him winning a travel to I-Expo and that he's allowed to bring a guest, his first thought is, of course, Ochako. While he still makes a bit of a mess about it, he manages to ask her to come with him as his date, and she immediately says yes.
  • Izuku suggests to have a barbecue party at the beach so everyone can relax in the aftermath of the exams, but Himiko realizes that her restrictions would prevent her from going. Inko manages to convince the teachers to lower the restrictions, allowing the girl to join her friends.
  • During their date at I-Island, Izuku gives Ochako a pair of digital artist gloves - so she can use them to sleep and yet be able to do things like checking her phone. Ochako promptly gives him the warmest hug she can.
  • At the end, when they are riding the Ferris Wheel, Izuku begins to confess how much Ochako means to him, how much she has changed his life... and how he realized how important she was to him during the fight at Hosu City. And then he says it.
Izuku: I love you. I love you so much it hurts. Because... because I know just how incredible you really are. How kind and gentle and amazing and —
    • And he gets interrupted... because Ochako decides that, instead of telling him how much she loves him, she's going to show him. Cue The Big Damn Kiss.
  • Melissa reveals to Izuku and Ochako how her Quirk is causing her time in her normal form to shorten, and has left her with few connections outside her father, All Might, and her teammates. Izuku and Ochako immediately state that she's their friend, and promptly add her to the Dekusquad chat group, causing her to tear up in happiness.
  • Tsuyu invites Himiko to dinner at her home, only to meet her parents there. Genma proceeds to interrogate Himiko on what she would do to protect Tsuyu, Himiko states she'd be willing to kill in order to protect her friend. Genma proceeds to tell Tsuyu Himiko has his blessing.
  • Tsuyu wants to show Himiko that she's interested in her. Reminding a suggestion Izuku made, she makes a cut on her tongue and then French-kisses Himiko, which Himiko takes exactly as Izuku predicted.
    • And Tsuyu doesn't mind that Himiko is still in love with Izuku and Ochako. She's willing to remain with her and help her with what she needs to get past that.
  • After Himiko sneaks into Ochako's home in the middle of the night because she's scared of being in a committed relationship with Tsuyu, Ochako calms her down and arranges for Izuku and Tsuyu to come to her home the next morning. While not bereft of a few obstacles and teasing, the four of them manage to have a conversation on what their respective relationships are and/or could be, and agree to make the best out of what they do have.
  • Chapter 59 begins with Izuku trying to find a present he can give to Ochako for their one-week anniversary. Gentle Criminal and La Brava give him tips on what to buy.
    • The Dekusquad (with Melissa sending a drone to play through a hologram) meets to play a card game at U.A. Regardless of how they keep driving each other up the wall, it's obvious they are having fun.
    • Mei reveals her mother is Lady Nagant. And, by all accounts she makes, she was a good mother.
