Main Story

  • Spring Troupe sleeping together in the theater after getting ripped to shreds by Yuzo. Even a loner like Masumi joins in. Afterwards, they decided to change their practice style so that whenever one is trailing off, another would help lead them to the correct path.
  • The rest of the troupe performing an improv act to keep Itaru from quitting theater. It works.
  • Tenma's growth from a harsh, nitpicky leader into a leader who balances praises and critiques.
  • Everybody forgiving Taichi, despite what he has done. Taichi declaring that he is now part of Mankai Company's Autumn Troupe, not God Troupe, feels wholesome.
  • The way Banri and Juza stand up for Taichi when Reni shows up at the closing night.
Mind your manners, sit your asses down, and watch the show.
  • Tasuku finally fixing the mistake he once did in the past: not comforting Tsumugi when he failed the God Troupe audition. Also tearjerking because if Tasuku had done it in the past, Tsumugi wouldn't have dropped out from theater.
    • Tasuku also apologized for having transformed that guilt into anger and lashed out at Tsumugi a while back. This is incredibly heartwarming since whenever Tasuku got angry, it only caused Tsumugi to be more hesitant and reluctant than he had always been.
  • Before the act-off against God Troupe, the screen went black, and you got to see the most crucial lines from Spring, Summer, and Autumn Troupe, about how things started out, how much they had grown, about how precious Izumi and the entire company were to them.
    • Even Izumi finally acknowledged her role as the company's director. Then she encouraged Winter Troupe to do their best.

Backstage

  • Citron [Longing From the Carriage Window]: For all Citron's shenanigans with the word game in the train, Izumi had fun with it and wanted to enjoy the time she had with Citron while he was with the company, so that she wouldn't be too sad when he really had to leave.
  • Juza [About to Bloom]: Izumi tells Juza that she is not afraid of him despite his Face of a Thug, and he is just so delighted. Also, if you choose Izumi to tell Juza that he is a Nice Guy, he will blush and say that so far only Izumi and Muku think of him like that.
  • Sakyo [Hiding in the Garden]: Sakyo dissing Izumi's acting as a bride hurts a lot, but at the end, it's revealed that Sakyo doesn't want to watch it not because it's bad, but it's because Sakyo can't help but see Izumi wearing a wedding dress.
  • Tsumugi [About to Bloom]: The opening skit of a matinee show reminded Tsumugi of his failure in an audition, causing him to be in a bad mood. However, Izumi chose not to dig deeper into it; instead, she tried to comfort him by asking about the meaning of white hoary stock. Tsumugi freaked out when explaining, as it meant "quiet love," but Izumi found it cute and pointed it out. Tsumugi said that Izumi was being mean, but then Izumi told him that she just wanted to make him happy after seeing him in a bad mood. Then Tsumugi went into the flower shop to buy a white hoary stock for Izumi to thank her.
  • Tsumugi [Bouquet Full of Wishes]: When Izumi got her finger pricked by rose thorns, Tsumugi immediately checked it and told her how to treat the wound. Afterwards, Tsumugi asked Izumi to let him get the flowers for her instead, so that she wouldn't hurt herself by accident again.
  • Tasuku [The Big Buff Wolf]: Tasuku giving the wolf plush toy to Ichiro the dog at the end, when Izumi is about to return him to his owner.
  • Homare [Standing Rehearsal]: An old lady nearly tricked Homare into buying a vase, but he decided to walk away when the old lady said that Izumi had a wicked heart. He even told the lady that Izumi's heart was far from wicked.
  • Homare [Yes, Sir!]: Everyone is delighted when Homare is back to the dorm. It is like, something is lacking when Sagishima is in the dorm instead of Homare. At the same time, Shiki is relieved to have Sagishima back.
    • "I like this Arisu better." Says a lot considering that Homare often annoys Hisoka.
  • Azuma [MANKAI Memory]: Azuma used to be insecure of his looks because his classmates bullied him for looking like a girl. Then Azuma's mother comforted and encouraged him, that it never matters whether he looks like a boy or a girl as long as he is beautiful. And to this day in the story, Azuma's beauty is legendary.
  • Guy [About to Bloom]: Guy catches a cold for the first time, and becomes bedridden. Various members of the company are worried, and decide to bring him various food stuffs to ease the pain. So many members were concerned and visited Guy that Izumi notes he has become buried in the whole pile of food.

Events

  • Yuki and Kazunari buying presents for the entire troupe and Izumi in the event epilogue for The Great Sardine Search.
  • In Operation: Campfire Bonds, Tsuzuru and Kazunari fought. Later on, Kazu happened to fall ill in the middle of a forest. Tsuzuru carried Kazu all the way back to the camp and they reconciled, all while reminiscing about how they first met. If Tsuzuru hadn't offered bandages for Kazu's blisters back then, Kazu would've never met Tsuzuru and joined Mankai Company.
  • The Stranger:
    • Taichi helped Omi overcome his Dark and Troubled Past by asking him to be the delinquent he used to be: driving a motorbike to the beach at midnight. Omi initially hesitated, but eventually agreed. Omi felt rejuvenated and even decided to drive faster.
    • Omi finally working on Nachi's photos and giving them to Nachi's parents, after holding onto the film for a long time because he was afraid to face his past.
    • Omi and Izumi visiting Nachi's grave.
    • Autumn Troupe taking a group photo and giving it a yellow sticker, which means happiness, in the event epilogue. It also ends with the entire Autumn Troupe standing together.
  • My Master's Mesmerized by Mystery:
    • Hisoka has Homare's pocket watch fixed before returning it to him. Throughout the event story, Hisoka ponders about how important the object is to Homare and is visibly saddened when Homare claims that the pocket watch is not all that important to him.
    • Homare finally understanding why his grandmother gives him the broken pocket watch. Although she gives it to him for the reason it's unneeded, right after saying that Homare is like the watch, it's not because Homare is unneeded like it; instead, it's because it bears the proof of her husband's love to her. The watch is actually important to her, meaning, Homare is as important as it is to her.
    • The ending of the event epilogue. Although Hisoka often complains about Homare being noisy, this time he still complains, but in a more affectionate way instead of his usual annoyed "Arisu is so noisy."
Hisoka: *smiles* ...You really don't know when to shut up, do you? Heh.
  • Masumi's April Fools' line. He claims that he is giving up on Izumi, but then admits that he just can't really say it and instead goes on with, "I love you... I'll always love you."
  • Sparkling Summer Memories:
    • Tsumugi calming down the panicked Masumi and keeping the group's morale up even if their performance theme is switched up on the last minute.
    • Tsumugi excels at rock-paper-scissors, but he deliberately loses just so that everybody else can have fun. When exposed by Masumi, he even says that it is fine because he is the oldest among the gang.
    • Masumi telling Tsumugi about how much he reminds him of his grandma, and thanking him for the save during the final performance, all while the fireworks go off in the background. Masumi, someone well-known for being cold and aloof except towards Izumi, warms up to Tsumugi.
  • A Clockwork Heart:
    • Tsuzuru's and Mizuno's past. Mizuno, having been living in a wealthy household, got to enjoy a simple, yet heartfelt birthday party of Tsuzuru's brother. He also had a lot of fun picking dandelions by the riverside with Tsuzuru.
    • Mizuno's letter giving the final push Tsuzuru needed to complete A Clockwork Heart script.
    • Tsuzuru and Mizuno finally seeing each other face-to-face, after many years of separation.
  • Captain Sky's Pirates:
    • Muku, as a co-lead, being determined to help Misumi out by finding his grandfather's possessions.
    • Madoka admitting that he actually does love Misumi.
    • Misumi looking at Madoka from the windows and throwing a paper airplane at him, reminding Madoka of their past. Also, the fact that Misumi makes a more melancholic smiling face instead of his usual happy smile just makes it tearjerkingly sweet.
Misumi: You've grown up so much, Madoka... Thank you for everything.
    • Misumi acknowledging his three treasures: acting, friends, and triangles, as he looks at the triangular constellation when Summer Troupe is having fun with fireworks.
  • In A Tag-Team Halloween, Tasuku had bad memories about Halloween costumes from his God Troupe days. However, Taichi then wanted to wore a magician costume, which was a costume worn by the top actor in God Troupe in Halloween events, something Taichi never got the chance to try on back in God Troupe. However, when paired with Taichi for the event, Tasuku later offered to wear a werewolf costume to match up with Taichi's magician costume. In God Troupe, the werewolf costume would be worn by the number two.
  • Nocturnality:
    • Winter Troupe finally developing into a proper team. They started off distant and needed urban legends to resolve their conflict, and as stated by Azuma, what caused them to be distant was because they didn't want to overstep others' boundaries. Here they finally decided to open up to each other and deepen their bonds.
    • Azuma had always disliked morning because that was when his clients would leave him, and he'd be alone again. However, here he finally saw the beauty of morning view, with the entire Winter Troupe having a sleepover in his apartment.
  • In hAve A greAt trip!, when Homare suddenly has to attend a short-notice meetup and leaves Misumi alone and unable to go to the art gallery they had made plans for, Itaru convinces himself that he can leave his games for a day to keep Misumi company.
  • Special Edition: Snowfall Street has one: Homare not wanting to let Muku roam Hokkaido alone before they head there. It is really a good thing Homare accompanies Muku, as a blizzard later hits Hokkaido and Muku slips and twists his ankle. Homare takes his protectiveness up a notch by carrying the injured Muku on his back, long enough until Tsukumo passes by and offers them shelter at his theater Novem Regalia. Never mind the danger of traversing across a blizzard with someone on your back.

Cross-Backstage

  • Tenma & Juza: After getting saved from a few Jerkass guys, Tenma decided to help Juza in his practice. At the end, Juza gave Tenma his phone number, so that Tenma could ask for his protection whenever he wanted. Even though Tenma was still in his Tsundere schtick, it's clear that he was more than willing to help Juza in the future.

Anime

  • Izumi convincing Sakyo to not tear down the theater signboard with her acting. Sakyo acknowledges how bad it is, yet still gives her the chance to gather members, which foreshadows that Sakyo is actually not as cold-hearted as he seems.
  • Sakuya, Masumi, and Tsuzuru telling Sakyo that they will do their best to revive the theater, and Izumi agreeing to be the director of Mankai Company.
  • Sakuya and Citron cheer for Tsuzuru's scriptwriting by dropping a message on his laptop.
  • Misumi giving Muku a triangular eraser after the latter is harshly criticized by Tenma. Made even more heartwarming as the color of the object is yellow and cyan, which is Misumi's and Muku's image color respectively.
  • The fact that Yuki was the one who reacted first at the news that Tenma would possibly leave. He is angry, whereas the others are just distrought (you can also see that in the expressions on the sprites in the game they used). No matter how much they bicker, deep in his heart, Yuki knows that they'd be nowhere without Tenma.

Mini Chat, Cash Earning Minigame, Etc

  • Spring 3rd play A Clockwork Heart. As tearjerking as it is, the ending is pretty hopeful. Although S is dormant, Luke knows that they are friends no matter what, and is waiting for the day when he can awaken S again. He also wears a necklace with S' key everywhere, a reminder of his friendship with S.
    • The beginning itself is pretty lighthearted and heartwarming, with Luke teaching S how to handshake and being very patient towards the homunculus.
  • This promotional video celebrating the game's third year. It shows artwork from all of the troupe members in their first leading roles, holding bouquets of their trademark flowers. Every one of them delivers a personalized message to the director, telling her how thankful they are to have joined the company and how it's changed them for the better.
  • The PV for Act 3 showcases the past and reborn Mankai troupe leaders, how the past leaders are lamenting about how nothing lasts forever, and how the new leaders are refuting their laments. The PV also has Monologue, a mellow, heartwarming solo sung by Sakuya, playing in the background.
  • How Tsumugi's and Tasuku's Image Song connects to each other. Tsumugi's Keyword is about Tsumugi's resolve to not run away from acting again and his desire to stand on stage with Tasuku, whereas Tasuku's Beyond the Wall is about Tasuku encouraging Tsumugi to pursue his dream of standing on stage again.
  • Homare saying how Azuma's smile always has sadness in there in one of his practice lines. As revealed in the main story and Nocturnality, he is right.
  • At the end of 3 Cheers for Mankai!, you get to see a heartwarming thank-you message from the character you cheered the most for during the event.
  • The second April Fools lines have Homare tell a lie all while crying: he is quitting poetry. Tasuku, who bickers with Homare and takes jabs at his poems and eccentricity more often than not, is tricked and in sheer shock as he wonders why Homare quits.
