Moments pages are Spoilers Off. You Have Been Warned.

"Voltes V vs. the Boazanian Empire"

  • Little Jon is excited that Voltes Team's first sortie will be like a video game, which exasperates his mother who tells him that it's Not a Game.
  • Big Bert tells Mark that among the weapons used by Voltes V include an Ultra Electromagnetic Whip. This pleases Mark, who then says "Yeehaw!".

"Destiny to Fullfill"

"Target"

  • When Mary Ann Armstrong starts pelting the Boazanian ship with rocks she picked up, Zuhl mocks her efforts but then he himself gets startled when one of her projectiles hit the screen.
  • The Voltes Team throwing cow-related insults at the minotaur-like Vaizanger, such as "lechon baka" (roast beef) and "kalabaw" (water buffalo).
  • Vaizanger shows a surprising amount of personality for a robot, rubbing its jaw in apparent annoyed discomfort after taking a hit to the face and later having a surprised expression when Voltes V No Sells its punch to the face.

"Rise, Armstrong Brothers"

  • When Jamie keeps prodding at Mark and talking about the (emotional) pain in his chest, and he responds if she wants to know what's beneath by unzipping his uniform (and showing an undershirt) to evade the conversation. Right at that moment, a bespectacled Camp Big Falcon staff member was walking by and shook her head in disapproval before moving on. This forces Jamie to invoke Not What It Looks Like and leave.

"Armstrong Brothers"

  • On a humorous meta level, the Twitter account of the actor for Emperor Zambojil chided the (series-only) Bedmate Reveal for Zardoz and Zandra in Episode 18, saying that Zardoz used up his energy for a different battle, that's why he had no energy left for Voltes V.

"Change of Heart"

  • Zuhl and Draco getting into a petty squabble over who will be Zardoz's right hand man after Gardo defeats Voltes V. Zandra also joins in for a moment before Zardoz breaks it up when he was right behind the three.

"Butterfly Return Technique"

  • Zuhl bets that Camp Big Falcon would fall at the count of ten... then actually starts counting. He only makes it to three before Zardoz tells him to knock it off. He tries again later when Gardo starts slashing at the shields, but Zardoz calls him out again, and he grumbles about it.
  • When Gardo manages to get back its sword and performs a Blade Lock clash with Voltes V's Laser Sword, Zuhl is gleeful that the counter worked and believed Gardo is victorious. Only for Voltes V to cut through Gardo's sword and body. Zuhl was in Stunned Silence upon witnessing it.
  • Realizing Gardo's defeat, Zuhl, Draco, and Zandra attempt to back away slowly and quietly to leave until a livid Zardoz calls them out. Their Oh, Crap! faces say it all, knowing the prince is not happy with the samurai Beast Fighter's defeat.

"Assassination"

  • While the circumstances for it aren't funny, Steve and Mark arguing over how should Jamie be protected from the sniper that tried to kill her earlier today is, as well as her frustration with them both over thinking she's a Damsel in Distress. This includes instructions to Apable, who was actually said sniper, to never leave her out of her sight.

"Dainegu"

  • Daiga's Psychotic Smirk just looks hilariously smug. Alternatively, it looks a bit like a perverted grin.
  • There's something quite funny about how Daiga and Negg's fusion into Dainegu just consists of Negg coiling around Daiga. It's kind of reminiscent of Orangusnake.

"Death Threat"

  • After Voltes V finishes its combination sequence and lands to confront Dainegu, Big Bert cheekily calls it the Superhero Landing.
  • When Voltes V fires the Chain Knuckles attack, Dainegu gets struck in the face, stopping its attempt to crush Voltes Team with the Roller Form attack. Then Big Bert cracks a joke at its expense.
  • The Oh, Crap! look on Dainegu's face as Voltes V leaps in with the Laser Sword to deal the finishing blow. It doesn't even try to dodge or flee the attack, it just stares blankly up for the last few seconds as if to say "welp, guess I'm screwed."
  • After Dainegu is defeated, an upset Zardoz screams like a player who Rage Quit after another failed attempt to take down a boss character.

"Enemy Within"

  • After being presented a new Beast Fighter Bombos, Zardoz is not amused that it doesn't seem stronger than Dainegu. Cue to Zandra, Draco and Zuhl laughing together as if they have an In-Joke shared among themselves. This confuses and annoys the prince who then threatens to zap Zuhl nearby if he doesn't explain now.

"Close Call"

  • Upon seeing the catfish-like Beast Fighter Namazuka, Big Bert breaks out in laughter, mocking the "delicious-looking" catfish and saying it makes him feel hungry. Little Jon claps back saying that he's always hungry.
  • Even though the situation went dire, Namazuka not only disrupted the Voltes Team's Volt-In sequence but the opening theme song as well. And then the Beast Fighter did it again when the Voltes Team tried once more.

"Ultra Marcon"

  • Big Bert threatens to sit on OCTO-1 if Little Jon insists on not letting him, Mark Gordon and Jamie Robinson free from their straps. Little Jon immediately complies.
  • When the Medical Bay's doctor orders her nurse to stop the other Voltes pilots from leaving their beds (Steve having escaped earlier), the intern grabs Big Bert, who states the obvious odds on top of his half-Boazanian strength, which neither of them know as such. The intern decides to zip up Big Bert's jacket instead and pat him in the shoulder. After the pilots leave, the doctor calls her intern useless.

"Mysterious Man"

  • After Voltes V is successfully formed, a livid Big Bert declares to Namazuka that it will become his catfish salad much to the bemusement of his teammates.
  • On a humorous meta level, Zardoz's disguise (which is revealed to be Biomanipulation from a Polseras device made by Zuhl in the next episode) when attempting to infiltrate Camp Big Falcon by himself is simply his actor's actual appearance outside of his costume.

"Move It"

"Homecoming"

"Secret Codes"

"Big Surprise"

  • When Big Bert finally confronts Zuhl, he brings up all the previous Beast Fighters the latter sent against the Voltes Team, with hilarious nicknames like "butterfly", "kalabaw" (water buffalo), "hito" (catfish), and "little dinosaur".

"Deadly Consequence"

  • Mark calls the captive Zuhl "ugok" (idiot), much to Zuhl's bewilderment. When he retorts with the Boazanian insult "homsak", Mark uses it against him, and proceeds to use the insult repeatedly throughout the episode.
  • As the Voltes Team prepare to teleport into Zardoz's base, Big Bert expresses concern that the teleporter might merge them in undesirable ways, saying that him and Mark might end up swapping heads. Mark sarcastically comments that it would make Big Bert thinner, a prospect he momentarily agrees with.
    • After teleporting back, Bert observes Jamie having her arms around both Steve and Mark, and commenting that even in a dangerous situation, the three still manage to find some sweet romantic time while Bert was right there next to them. Jamie's response is to smack him away with her hand.
  • The captive Zuhl demands that the EDF treat him with respect. The guards mockingly offer him a seat, to which he refuses, saying he will sit whenever he pleases...then right after proceeds to sit anyway: upon which the guards pull the seat out from under him, sending the elderly Boazanian sprawling.

"Paglusob"

  • Big Bert struggles with the malfunctioning vending machine, which refuses to dispense food for him — but dispenses food for other people. This enrages him enough to try attacking the vending machine with a chair and calling it a "traitorous friend". Good thing Jamie stops Big Bert in time and gets him the food he wants.

"Steve Vs Zardoz"

"World Destruction"

  • As Oslak gloats to Camp Big Falcon about his bomb that will destroy the planet and kill everyone, Dr. Hook spitefully calls him "uwang" (dung beetle) and then cuts the transmission without translating.

"Conquer"

  • Hook is pissed that he thinks the love triangle with Jamie, Steve and Mark still isn't finished. The first two insist there's none and Hook tells them to get out before he gets mad... again.

"Uprising"

  • When a Boazanian soldier tries to inform Emperor Zambojil that bringing the Posi-Negatron too close to the planet's rings can cause it to be damaged, Zambojil responds by comically whacking the soldier on the head with the blunt end of his sword, saying he doesn't care.

"Never Surrender"

  • Contessa, the mother of Zambojil, and her fellow Boazanian nobles got squashed by Godor when the Ultimate Beast Fighter emerges underneath the Imperial Palace and landed right on top of them to confront Voltes V. Black Comedy at its finest.
  • The episode ends with a hilarious behind-the-scenes blooper reel, containing gems such as:
    • Boazanian soldiers dancing in sync.
    • Arisa's actress calling Countess Zaki "Arisa"... before she reminds her "you ARE Arisa."
    • Martin del Rosario repeatedly messing up Zardoz's jump into Godor's flame.
    • Takeo and Arisa accidentally reciting lines from Encantadia.
    • Zardoz's wig and horns falling off mid-battle.
    • And all that is played out to an adorable rendition of Octo-1 singing "Chichi Wo Motomete", courtesy of Michael V.
