  • The last question of Episode 1 is the Running Gag of "Is that pink hedgehog [Sonic's] sister or girlfriend?" Sonic is VERY quick to deny Amy being his sister, and Tails gives an incredulous "uh-huh" when Sonic calls her "just a really good friend".
  • During Episode 3, Knuckles proves to be Adorkable in his own ways and is fairly calm... though he loses his cool at the idea of letting anyone near the Master Emerald, even Tails, threatening to throw the poor fox off the edge of the island if he tries analyzing it. But he's still calm in another sense, at least.
  • Likewise, his blunt response to learning about what The Sonic Scoop is. Dave B. Mitchell's deadpan delivery really sells it:
Tails: This is my show, "The Sonic Scoop," where we talk all about Sonic!
    Knuckles: Oh. (Beat) No thanks.
    Tails: Uh... wh—
Knuckles: I don’t want to talk about Sonic. Is that all? (gets in close to the camera) How do I turn this thing off—
  • Eventually, Sonic crashes the party and starts twisting his dreads over his isolated lifestyle. Knuckles, ever the hothead, loses his patience and proceeds to show them a "special rock" he found so that he can demonstrate what it can do: break the communicator Tails sent him to host the interview.
Sonic: I dunno, I— I feel like any rock could do that.
  • Episode 4 has Tails off-handedly mention that he keeps cans of chili and packages of hot dogs at his place specifically for Sonic to indulge in his Trademark Favorite Food.
  • Episode 5 has Sonic, Knuckles, and Amy joining Tails this time around, where they reminisce on their past adventures, specifically Sonic Mania. Knuckles goes on to describe Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Squirrel, noting how they're essentially upgraded versions of Sonic and Tails (ie. Mighty's harder shell allowing him to destroy obstacles Sonic can't, and Tails' flight being limited while Ray can glide almost endlessly). When Sonic asks Knuckles if Mighty is stronger than him, Knuckles immediately asks who's next on Tails' list (with Sonic chiding him for his dodging).
    • When Knuckles pushes the comparisons later, Amy gets him to stop with a very stern "Knuckles." and looks right at him, clearly annoyed without changing her cheerful expression.
    • Knuckles also recalls how Mighty helped him and the Chaotix one time, with him referring to said Detective Agency as "The Boys" of all things.
  • When the gang starts discussing Fang the Hunter, there is a number of Leaning on the Fourth Wall jokes regarding his numerous regional names, with Knuckles, Sonic, and Amy being confused by his various titles and species changes. It takes Tails to straighten things out and clarify that they're all titles.
    • Knuckles admonishes Fang for willingly working for Dr. Eggman, even asking "What kind of jerk works for Eggman?" This is immediately followed by Sonic noting that Knuckles is calling the kettle black, considering he teamed up with Eggman (albeit unwillingly), to which Knuckles defensively yells "one time!". The three then mutter how Knuckles got tricked at least two more times.
  • Episode 6 has Tails invite not only Sonic, Knuckles, and Amy, but also Shadow, Rouge and E-123 Omega for a holiday gift exchange (though Shadow leaves immediately due to his lack of interest). Knuckles gives Omega a rock, Sonic gives Knuckles a pre-paid gift card for Chili Dogs, Amy gives Sonic a picture frame with a photo of her (which Sonic replaces with another photo of himself and Tails, much to her annoyance), Omega gives Amy the remains of a Motobug he destroyed, and Rouge gives herself the Master Emerald she stole. Knuckles then immediately chases after her when she runs off with it, with Sonic leaving to watch the chase, with Omega and Amy following, leaving Tails by himself.
    • As Tails is about the close the episode, Eggman and Orbot crashes through the roof in an attempt for a takeover of the show, but everyone had already left, much to his dismay. Tails, feeling pity for him, gives him a book called "102 Things to Build on a Rainy Day", which Eggman says that it would be great for family-bonding with Sage. Eggman, scrambling for a gift for Tails, gives him a "get out of an invasion" coupon. When Tails mentions how Jewel and the Restoration are preparing a Holiday party, Eggman gets the idea to crash it. Tails immediately uses the coupon Eggman just made him, causing the doctor to leave in a huff.
    • Mixed with Heartwarming, Tails, before actually closing the episode leaves behind the gift (a scarf) he was going to Shadow, saying goodbye to the audience. The in-universe camera is left running, where Shadow comes back to see what the commotion was after he heard a giant explosion. When he sees everyone is gone, he opens the present that Tails left for him. While he calls the gift ridiculous, once it starts getting chilly due to the hole in Tails' roof, he actually accepts it and wraps it around his neck.
  • Episode 7 has Tails invite Sonic and Shadow for the segment "Between Two Hedgehogs", where he tries to help the two find common ground between one another. Throughout the segment though, Sonic and Shadow both mock, insult, and threaten each other, ending with them racing across the island.
