  • In the official trailer and episode 1, one scene features Liko cuddling her Sprigatito, which it doesn't appreciate. Later it proceeds to paw her in the eye when she proceeds to touch its paw pads, since they give off a nice scent when it kneads.
Liko: Well, if you're gonna be reckless...I'll just have to squish those beans~
  • Liko's fourth-wall leaning reaction to the events that had proceeded around her in the first two episodes is priceless, as is the expression on her face.
Liko: (internally) "Am I the heroine of a story?!"
  • In Episode 3, while Liko chats with Ann over Rotom Phone, Sprigatito can be seen trying to play with the phone.
  • In Episode 5, Roy tells Liko (up close to her face no less) he snuck into the Brave Asagi to see "that face again", which Liko internally interprets as Roy crushing on her. When it turns out he wanted to be with Fuecoco again, she is left in confusion.
  • The "Rising Volt Tacklers' Rap" includes some funny gags when some members attempt to sing.
    • Episode 5 features Murdock, but he gets tongue-tied easily as he fails to finish his part of the rap when the Hisuian Electrode drops.
    • Episode 7 features Ludlow, who barely keeps up with the song's pace, and he realizes he sang too slow as it goes to the next verse.
    • Episode 8 features Dot, who really doesn't feel like doing the rap at all so she ends up complaining about it rather than singing. The karaoke-style visuals, however, keep on going as if she is. She also keeps on rambling for so long that the next verse cuts her off mid-sentence.
  • Episode 8:
    • After breakfast, Friede mentions to Roy and Liko have something important to do, prompting Liko to ask what he means. Cut to Liko sitting at the table, her Rotom tablet showing her class.
    Liko: He meant school
    • Liko stays on the ship so she could attempt to befriend Dot, a girl who never really leaves her room, and to watch a rare livestream held by Nidothing, her favorite streamer. Unbeknownst to her, Nidothing and Dot are the same person. During the show, Nidothing reads a comment by "NyahojaSuperFan" (or SprigatitoSuperFan), who is obviously Liko. Nidothing gets visibly more and more uncomfortable with the question as Liko is basically asking Dot herself for advice on how to befriend Dot more easily. Meanwhile, in the other room, Liko shrieks at the realization that Nidothing picked her comment to read live on air. The shriek itself is loud enough to disturb everyone on the ship!
    • The comment before that seems to have been written by none other than Zir, who is still salty about his loss to Roy a few episodes earlier and asking for strategic advice to avoid another such incident.
    • Murdock has been secretly making donuts for Dot and leaving them in a cupboard for her, with only Friede knowing. When Mollie notes that they're running low on foodstuff (specifically ingredients needed to make sweets), she, Orla, Liko, and Sprigatito all stare at Murdock, who denies he's been making them in secret, which Liko sees right through. When Friede asks them to stop with the finger pointing, Mollie, Orla, Liko, and Sprigatito all stare at him, with Liko realizing he's complacent about it.
    • Friede then insists they stop at the nearby city to restock, which Orla is against, as it would delay their arrival in Paldea. Friede proceeds to leave the decision to Pikachu, then immediately latches onto the first confused "Pika?" that comes out of his mouth and insists it was his way of agreeing with him no. Judging by Orla's reaction, it wasn't the first time he did something like that.
    • After the team arrives in the city, Molly reminds everyone that they are rather tight on both funds and schedule and as such can't afford any impulse buying and should just get the necessary supplies and go back to the ship. All the while Roy acts giddy about his first ever visit in a big city, and Fuecoco is looking longingly at the display of a confectionery.
    • While the rest of the team was out, Liko was snooping around the kitchen. At one point she checked the same cupboard, only to be covered in cream by Alcremie. Later on, she told Roy about the incident, but Roy thought that would be great and that Liko was lucky to have that happen.
  • Episode 9:
    • There is something funny in Naranja Academy, the school so central to the Pokemon Scarlet story, only gets a passing mention in the episode. Mesagoza City, the biggest city in Paldea as well as the city the school is in, didn't even get named in the episode.
  • Episode 10:
    • Nemona's Pawmo has the worst luck in this episode by bring sprayed by Dolliv's oil. First time it is sprayed by Dolliv being scared by Brassius's outburst. After being calmed down by Sprigatito's scented paws, it dances only to spray Pawmo again.
  • Episode 13:
  • Episode 16:
    • Dot's lack of physical fitness is made into a running gag in this episode. It also serves as a Surprisingly Realistic Outcome due to her constantly remaining inside her room and not getting any exercise. When Dot throws a Pokeball, she fails miserably in catching Quaxly to the point Quaxly has to jump and hit his head on the Pokeball to get it to capture him.
    • Since Dot has been cooped up in her room for ages, she naturally isn't able to keep up with Liko and Roy while running:
Dot: "I've done enough running today for the next 10 years..."
    • Roy attempts to make a combined attack with Fuecoco and Wattrel after Spinel's Magneton rises too high to be hit. It works for the wrong reasons: Wattrel uses Fuecoco's head as a springboard, and the Fire-type gets so angry he manages to shoot his Ember high enough to hit Magneton while trying to hit Wattrel.
    • Dot finally telling Liko about her being Nidothing while blushing, with some prompting from her Quaxly whose Pokémon Speak sounds like "Just tell her already!". One Beat later, we get Liko's (and Sprigatito's) reaction which sells the scene completely.
  • Episode 18:
    • With all three kids interested to know how Captain Pikachu could fly despite his species not having the means to do so, Liko excitedly suggests to ask Friede about it. Dot rejects her offer to tag along with her and Roy saying that it's a pain... then whips out a portable streamer's light with a grin while putting herself in "a supporting role". Cue Liko and Roy doing their version of Nidothing's introduction in front of Dot's mobile streaming gear (said streamer's light, a microphone and her Rotom Phone).
Friede: What are you two now, Nidothing's apprentices?
    • Dot later explains enthusiastically that if the video about Captain Pikachu goes viral, Nidothing's subscriber count will go up "like an Elektross going upstream". Friede bursts her bubble a bit by asking why she isn't part of the video if that's the case.
    • Larry, a fairly major character in the games by virtue of being both a Gym Leader and a member of the Elite Four, makes his debut... as a background cameo in a scene about other characters. Given his status as an Indubitably Uninteresting Individual, it actually makes a lot of sense.
    • The final flashback has Friede asking Orla to convert Ludlow's old fishing boat into an airship. Orla bluntly calls him an idiot for thinking that's even possible; meanwhile in the background, Ludlow does a... somewhat understated Double Take that makes it clear he didn't agree on that.
      • After conversion is finished and as Friede is complimenting her job, Orla, rather unimpressed, bluntly demands her payment - only for Friede to admit sheepishly that he has no money. Considering how quickly she proposes that he should hire her as a mechanic as an alternative, one can't help but think that she knew he won't be able to pay and acted accordingly.
  • Episode 21: After Liko finds Hatenna, Sprigatito makes a mad dash to the empty box Roy tried to lure it with not unlike a certain internet-famous cat.
  • Episode 30: Dot goes to grab some Shuckle juice from the fridge, only to discover there's hardly any left. Her initial solution to this is to grab Shuckle, stick a straw in it, and drink straight from there; it takes both Shuckle and Quaxly protesting to get her to stop.
  • Episode 31: The "Terapagos's Sparkling Adventure" short has Terapagos being the Annoying Younger Sibling to Sprigatito, but at the end Sprigatito realizes that Terapagos just wants some company. When Liko finds them, both are in a Sleep Cute position with Sprigatito belly-up and Terapagos covering it.
  • Episode 35: In a crossroads, Friede and Captain Pikachu get into an argument about whether Bramblin went right or left. The correct answer? Up, because it was stuck in a tree. The faces those two make upon learning this are brilliant.
  • Episode 36:
    • Yuno's rival Renta's Oinkologne Prince demonstrates its species' ability to attract other Pokémon of the opposite gender with its scent, which has an effect on other female pig Pokémon... and Sprigatito, causing Liko to carry her and attempt to get her to snap out of it. At least we now know the genders of all the protagonists' Pokémon.
    • Later on, when Yuno's own Oinkologne Twirly gets rejected by Prince even after her makeover, an angered Quaxly decides to show off by dancing. It works, with Nidothing/Dot wondering when Quaxly learned to dance like that.
  • Episode 39:
    • When something goes wrong with Nidothing’s livestream, Liko goes down to help but she’s covering her eyes saying there’s no one inside Nidothing, sort of like a little kid saying Santa’s real and not someone in a costume.
    • After Tinkatink joins Dot's team, Nidothing introduces her to her audience on stream and as she explains how her species love metal, Tinkatink gets distracted by Nidothing's large zipper that her custom hammer accidentally knocks on and decides to help herself, nearly revealing Dot in her costume on screen before Quaxly blocks the camera.
  • Episode 42:
    • The Superman spoof right before Palafin appears. Is it a yatch? A boat?
    • Everything about Mighty G. Good old Ludlow took Clark Kent Outfit to new levels in this episode.
  • Episode 46:
    • Every time Nemona tries to challenge Roy to a battle, she's directed to do something else by Clavell or another member of the faculty
    • Sidian's cover names for him and Coral at Naranja Academy. He picks "Onigiri"note  and Coralnote  becomes "Sandwich." Coral barely keeps it together as Sidian struggles with names.
  • Episode 47:
    • Everyone's reactions to eating Katy's sweets.
    • Katy pits Liko and Coral against each other in a bake-off to figure out who she would challenge that day. Coral's end result is so far from food she has Glalie turn it into a popsicle with Blizzard
    • After Katy...politely tells Coral to come back tomorrow, Coral leaves in a huff, with Glalie trying to give chase only to be stopped by the door frame being too small.
    • During her battle with Liko, Katy has her Teddiursa use Charm on Floragato, which ends up working in a different way its intended as instead of making Floragato to see Teddiursa as too cute to harm, makes her too confused to attack.
      • Even better? as Murdock recaps the incident while explaining Katy's strategy, the still-frame used to illustrate it makes it look as Teddiursa pinning on Floragato, making her uncomfortable.
