Week 1

• Boyfriend introducing himself to Daddy Dearest:
  Daddy Dearest: Does he have a name?
  Boyfriend: "BOYFRIEND".

• After Daddy Dearest challenges Boyfriend to show their skills, Boyfriend... only says "meat" in response...then eats his mic. Dearest is not exactly impressed.
  • The song itself isn't exactly the best either, consisting of only a rhythmic series of boops (presumably done by Doobus himself).

• The final punchline? BF delicately takes GF off of the speaker (remarking "pretty lady") after crushing Dearest with his giant hand. Girlfriend's remark?
  Girlfriend: Oh, this is gonna get kinky.

Week 2

• Even before Skid and Pump arrive, Dearest is simply taped to the wall, with his body still crushed from Week 1.
• Girlfriend is confused by it being Spooky Month, since it's still in April. Skid points to a calendar... which is completely spray-painted over to read "spookee month [sic]". Girlfriend believes them.
• After Boyfriend refuses to give Skid and Pump the giant lollipop, Skid and Pump summon the up arrow, which smacks the lollipop out of Boyfriend's hands.
• At first, it appears that BF is about to go on a massive rampage, before immediately falling flat on his face.

Week 3

• While the Week itself is surprisingly sad (given it takes place after Pico died), Boyfriend immediately cheering up after Girlfriend asks to get a new lollipop provides some needed levity.

Week 4

• Mommy Mearest herself immediately falls for Boyfriend after Daddy Dearest is in the Hospital... right in front of Girlfriend.
  Girlfriend: Mom, this isn't a porno, this is one way to give me a mental disorder— what the fuck?
• Boyfriend rejects Mommy Mearest's advances and provides a surprisingly eloquent speech about being loyal to Girlfriend, causing Mearest to stare in shock.
  Mommy Mearest: [beat]
  Boyfriend: But you have rockin' tits, though.
  Mommy Mearest: Oh, he's the whole package!

Week 5

• Mommy Mearest being an Amazingly Embarassing Parent and showing off her daughter's old photos is funny enough, but her daughter's embarrassment over her past obsession with Undertale and her wanting to go back to flirting with her boyfriend makes the scene gut-bustingly hilarious.
• How the main plot starts:
  Daddy Dearest (at this point dried up and still injured): i'm still in pain
  Mommy Mearest: What was that, honey?
  Daddy Dearest: i'm still in pain
  Mommy Mearest: Oh, ''lemonade'', that's a great idea!
  Daddy Dearest: goddamnit
• Given that many of the characters that appear in Hunkin' at least appear similar to their base game counterparts, one would expect Monster to at least retain his, well, monstrous form. That... isn't exactly the case, given he's now a lemon with devil horns and tiny legs (an obvious reference to Lemon Demon).
  • Lemon Demon has some pretty hilarious lines as well.
  LD: Get me out of here, [the happy lemons] do unspeakable things when the door is shut.

  LD (about to get squished by Boyfriend for the lemonade): W-w-w-w-wait, wait, wait, I know the devil, I'll tell on you!

Week 6

• Senpai having an unexplained British accent.
• Senpai tries to impress Girlfriend by trying to touch his toes with his large legs... only to immediately break his spine in the process.
• Spirit emerges from Senpai's dead body, ready to challenge Boyfriend to a battle... and gets slapped by Boyfriend and Girlfriend.
• This exchange:
  Spirit (dejected): Okay, I'm leaving.
  (Gets slapped by Boyfriend again)
  Spirit (much angrier this time): I SAID I'M FUCKING LEAVIN--
  • What makes this doubly hilarious is the last line is left completely uncensored in both versions, making it all the more jarring.

Week 7

• Girlfriend mistakenly calls Tankman a "Florida Man" despite both of them being in the middle of a battlefield.
  • Pausing during Girlfriend's explanation reveals two articles related to "Florida Man", which are actually real articles.
• The fact that Jesus let Pico down from heaven to help Boyfriend? Heartwarming. The fact that Pico was turned into an alligator to attack Tankman with him screaming in only monotone? Drop-dead hilarious.

Mods

• The running gag of most of the characters dying except for Tricky and Sonic.exe.
• Despite the mods themselves being parodied, they're fairly accurate to the source material, which makes it all the more hilarious when they appear in the video.
• While Whitty, Garcello, and Rebecca all appear different to their original counter parts, Tricky themselves... are still just as insane as ever.
• Sonic.exe's entire spiel is funnier given the fact that, as many people have pointed out, the original story was actually written by a kink roleplay furry.

Non-Canon

• The fact there's even a "canon" for the series speaks volumes to how weird the main series can get while sticking to whatever weird continuity the series adheres to.
• The first non-canon short is very weird, even by Hunkin' standards. It's justified by the fact that it was made by someone else, but still.
  • Speaking of, the short is so weird, that even Doobus had to put in a disclaimer that, yes, this is a real cartoon based on the Hunkin' series he found.
  • Dear God the cartoon. The off-model character designs as well as pretty unfitting voices make this a pretty weird experience. Also the fact that Boyfriend immediately kills off Daddy Dearest in the cartoon instead of simply crushing him makes it a hell of a whiplash.
  • A bit of Hilarious in Hindsight, but the fact that the cartoon was called "Week 8" by Doobus is funny given the actual announcement of Week 8 for the real FNF. The kicker? The fact that Pico of all characters was the first character teased for it. Guess Pico and Jesus had a closer relationship than people thought.
  • The fact this is not only officially shown off by Doobus, but is also considered "canon" leaves so many questions that make the entire cartoon even more absurd than it is.
• The "How to be Funny" video is an entire cavalcade of how Doobus was able to produce the cartoon, from weird adventures with a pirate crew to obtain a singular joke on a piece of paper to obtaining an "adult" voice actress and an "animation tron five thousand [sic]" (don't ask), the cartoon that Doobus manages to successfully produces despite everything working against him is... Girlfriend saying "fart noise dot wav" and then immediately farting. Anti-climax doesn't even begin to describe it. And Doobus' reaction ("I've killed art") completes the icing on the absurd cake.
