Running Gags:

  • Him commenting on the big feet of several NPCs.
  • The "It doesn't affect Misdreavus..."-counter. Final Count: 31.
  • "Shiny homework!" (the Ein Files)
  • Playing with his Typhlosion's name in a Shout-Out to the Knack: "M-m-m-my Corona!"
  • Failing to catch a Shadow Pokémon owned by an Admin, and more generally having far worse luck catching Pokémon than usual.
  • "Once again, we see that Gonzap's Academy For Snagging Pokémon does not teach (mundane ability)" (such as vaulting an Insurmountable Waist-High Fence or jumping across a short gap).
  • Making puns out of the many stupid names of Orre trainers (while missing the intended puns). This one carries over to XD.

Episode 1:

Episode 2:

  • The voice he gives Miror B.
    • The first words out of Chugga's mouth upon Miror B's intro: "DAT AFRO."
  • Actually, the "actually counter" was pretty funny too, actually.

Episode 3:

Episode 4:

  • "And welcome back to Kirby... (pause) Yeah, this game REALLY looks like Kirby's Epic Yarn..."
    • More of a meta-moment, but at the top, while he says that, it says:
Only took four episodes to spell "previous" right.

Episode 6:

  • Duking asks him to enter the next Colosseum battle.
    "Fina-freaking-ly!"
  • Chugga entering a near-cathartic state after Cail uses the term "Shadow Pokemon", relieved that he can finally use the term himself. Ironically, he had already slipped up and used it in the last episode.

Episode 7:

  • The AI shows how "intelligent" it is... by attacking Misdreavus with moves that don't affect it twelve times. This makes Chugga crack up so much he decides to make Misdreavus a team member.
  • Also related to Misdreavus, said Pokémon constantly goes into Hyper Mode, which makes Chugga crack up as well.
  • Chugga humming along with the music badly. In the words of a commenter:
Chugga, you are a great, entertaining LPer. But please, do not ever mimic a trumpet fanfare ever again.

Episode 9:

Episode 10:

  • After repeatedly making bad puns, Chugga somehow segues into how this makes him "proud of being a horrible human being".
  • "I don't know, maybe you can think of something fun you can do with four Lotads". Of course, the comments consist of nothing but suggestions...
    • Among others including having all four learn Sweet Scent for a nice smelling home, playing leapfrog, and stacking them.

Episode 11:

  • Chugga goes off on a tangent about how the male and female Hunter trainer types 'would make a really cute couple'.
  • Chugga deciding to leave Misdreavus in Hyper Mode to showcase the various positive effects of it. Not only is he unable to use a Protein on Misdreavus, it proceeds to disobey and attack a trainer, then attack Espeon leaving it with barely any HP. Just as Chugga is commenting on how the plan is turning out worse and worse, Espeon gets knocked-out by a Natu, at which point there is an audible slapping sound from Chugga.
    Chugga: Great plan, huh guys!
  • "I don't have as many balls as I'd like...-Wonderful."
  • He invents the neologism "Reflexeffect", mainly because it's fun to say.

Episode 12:

  • Chugga trying to get Rui to dance with him in the beginning.
  • Him failing to snag Miror B.'s Sudowoodo due to running out of Poke balls. He even starts repeatedly chanting "Catch!" on his last ball, which surprisingly doesn't work.

Episode 13:

Episode 14:

Episode 15:

  • The number of experience points Misdreavus gets after being purified! It gained seven levels, compared to the three or four for his Quilava and Quagsire respectively!

Episode 16

  • His reaction to meeting Dakim, "Oh my God, it's Alder!"
  • Artificial Stupidity has hit an all time low for Chugga before he got mad at it. He ordered his Quagsire to use Surf, which wouldn't have been a problem... if Dakim's Camerupt hadn't used Earthquake and hit partner Pokemon Entei before Surf finished off Entei.
Chugga: (Misdreavus confuses Camerupt with Confuse Ray) Hopefully Camerupt will do something stupid, let's see. (Camerupt uses Earthquake) Used Earthqua— Whoa whoa, Entei's out on the field, what the— (Quagsire gets hit) Okay, wait, time out, what was his plan there? Entei doesn't have Protect. (Entei gets hit for super effective) Um, (Doesn't affect Misdreavus) (Chugga laughs) okay, doesn't affect Misdreav— (Quagsire uses Surf) Oh no. Oh no. Oh noooo! (Entei gets hit for critical super effective) Camerupt, noooo! (Entei faints) Are you serious!? Camerupt, you idiot!
    • Even better is that Emile notes that this could actually be Artificial Brilliance since this prevents him from snagging Entei, which might have been Dakim's plan all along.
  • When revealing his nickname for his Quilava, he forgets to heal his Pokemon beforehand, and given that Quilava fainted in the previous battle...
Chugga: Wow, Quilava's actually not... conscious to receive his nickname. Could you imagine how scary that would be? Like, being knocked unconscious, being woken up, and suddenly having everyone refer to you by a different name and you have no idea what's going on? Like, it would drive you mad. *laughs*

Episode 17

  • Pretty much the entire fight with Mirakle B., particularly Chugga's shocked realization that he's actually more challenging than Miror B.
  • Chugga's theory that almost all of his Pokemon know Flail because "if they just flail around enough, it'll count as dancing".

Episode 18

  • LEMONADE AWAAAAAY!
  • After naming his Quagsire "Marshall" based on comment suggestions, he gives an honourable mention to another commentor's name suggestion: Tim. The commentor's reasoning for the name? "Because he's SO HAPPY!"

Episode 19

  • His ranting about the pronunciation of Illumise. Also counts as a CMOA because he takes on the Internet, and wins.

Episode 20

  • Losing another one of the Admin's Pokémon... To recoil damage from Shadow Rush. Can't blame Camerupt for that one!
Emile: OH NO, WHAT!?! WHAT?! OH COME ON! DUDE! *slap* ARE... *cracks up* Okay... okay, that was pretty good.
  • A bit of a Stealth Pun after seeing seeing Venus's Steelix has Earthquake he says he has to "take out" that Steelix fast, the pun is in the fact part of the strategy that Venus has is to use Attract. note

Episode 21

  • After beating a Trainer, Chugga attempts to go down the stairs, only to have Rui get in front of him.
Chugga: Rui, get out of my way! Rui! Get out of my way! OK, there, geez. Friggin Rui. Alright. I guess you could say Rui ruined my walk down.
  • After revealing the name for his Misdreavus in this episode, the AI starts using better tactics against it, causing it to get knocked out twice.

Episode 22

  • Following advice from the comments that you can avoid Chaser Kai by hugging the wall, Chugga proceeds to try to sneak behind her, failing, and then hugging the bottom wall to try from the other side... which is what the comments were telling him to do in the first place.
    • He only realizes this during editing, and his player self only rambles about how ridiculous those comments were.

Episode 23

  • Chugga thinking that the Researcher trainers looked like Robocop, which leads to...
    Chugga: Robocop: PhD! {chuckles}
  • Misreading "DOWN ST. KEY" (Down Stairs Key) as "Down Saint Key".

Episode 24

Episode 25

  • Finding the third DNA Sample by complete accident.
  • "This one is DNA of... MISDREAVUS?? (laughs) Okay, that's pretty cool!"
  • Chugga accidentally sending out Umbreon into a battle that it's completely outclassed in.
Chugga: Umbreon's had its defense lowered four times now, it's up against two Electrodes that likely know Self-Destruct or Explosion, it's paralyzed, and these Electrodes are nine levels higher than it. Um...nice knowing you, Umbreon.

Episode 27

  • Chugga nicknaming his Umbreon "Baggage", followed by the Name Rater praising the "luckiness" of the name.
Name Rater: You'll do well to cherish your Baggage now and beyond.

Episode 29

  • DAKIM AWAAAAY!

Episode 30

  • The opening.
Chugga: Welcome back to Pokemon Colosseum. In the last episode, we took down Dakim and finally snagged his Entei. I know, took us long enough. In this episode, I would like to stock up on a few items because Entei drained me of my balls. (Beat and thud sound) That was my head hitting the back of my chair when I realized what I said.
  • "EMILE CALLED WALNUT."

Episode 31

  • Chuggaa reading off the names suggested for his Granbull.
  • Chuggaa trying to snag a shadow Delibird. He goes through all of his Timer and Ultra Balls on what he even says is a pathetic Pokémon, until he has one Poké Ball left. On the last turn, he decides to blow up his Forretress after he throws the last ball. He catches it on the last ball and starts reacting like when he caught Groudon.

Episode 32

  • Chugga being uncharacteristically deadpan about Eagun's email, which was cut off before getting to the important part - the Master Ball.
Eagun: I just sent my very first email. I sure am proud of myself!
    Chugga: Don't be.
  • Bandana Guy Klest pretends Wes is the 1000th visitor to the tower, only to reveal he was lying.

Episode 33

  • Chugga's growing frustration over not being able to snag Gonzap's Skarmory, or even get the ball to shake more than once.

Episode 34

  • Chugga snagging a shadow Tropius with one ball and reacting like when he caught Groudon.

Finale (Part 1)

Finale (Part 2)

Bonus 1

Bonus 2

  • When he's going through the list of Shadow Pokemon Nett sent him towards the end:
Chugga: We have Ursaring, who we haven't seen yet, Skiploom, who we got like 20 hours of gameplay ago, Quagsire, who's on our team, Tropius, who we just caught, Skarmory, who we just caught, and Sunflora, who sucks.

Bonus 3

  • Chugga tries to talk to Nett, only for the game to misinterpret it as him looking at Nett's computer on his desk and just put up a line of dialogue reading "It appears to be Nett's PC". Twice.
  • Having caught the Shadow Pokémon he wants from Verde, he tries to end the battle spectacularly by KO'ing Verde's last Pokemon, a Muk, with double Earthquakes from Marshall and Munchkin...only for the Muk to dodge both attacks while Marshall KOs Munchkin and Munchkin badly damages Marshall. "How do you dodge an earthquake?!"
  • He tries to end the video off only to keep being bombarded with emails that force him to extend the episode.

Bonus 4

  • Chugga permanently losing a battle with Gonzap because he saves after his loss without realizing that he leaves afterwards.
  • Having a disc read error and a game crash in the space of a few minutes.

Bonus 5

  • Chugga has a trainer battle with Vice President Joe Biden. note
  • His utter glee at the end of the episode when he's interrupted by an email (again) but it turns out to be about the return of Miror B.
  • Him discussing how strange Machoke's Pokémon Red and Blue sprite looks, and the sound he makes when describing its expression.
Chuggaa: It's, like, making a NYURR (Machoke's sprite pops up) face, like, while simultaneously doing like, derpy eyes. I'm just like "...Okay? Did they actually think that looked good...?"

Bonus 8

  • Chugga's Disorganized Outline Speech about giving an award to his opponent's Houndoom.
  • The game completing the theme of the LP by ensuring Chugga has an Epic Fail in catching the last Shadow Pokémon, when his Fearful Symmetry opponent uses Earthquake, KO'ing his own Pokemon and automatically throwing out the Shadow Togetic when Chugga has readied a Surf and Explosion (not to mention it's at level 20). Chugga's Angrish reaction has to be seen.

Bonus 10

  • On his way up Mt. Battle, he explains a few off-camera cases of Artificial Stupidity he encountered. One was a trainer with Frustration on a Latias with max happiness, which did about 6 damage from a Pokemon normally considered a Game-Breaker. The other was a trainer who had their Spinda use Teeter Dance, confusing the entire field... while they had a Shedinja out, which promptly hurt itself in confusion and fainted.
  • For the final Mt Battle fight, the opponent's Rhydon activates Quick Claw on the first turn... and MISSES Megahorn on Espeon.
  • His story of when he beat Evice for the first time, so basically he's saying how he got destroyed by Evice 6 times in a row, and on his 7th attempt he and Evice got each other to their last pokemon and he was pretty much broke and had no items left, he selects his attack and does just under half health to Evice, who does just over half health to him. This angers him so much that grips his controller and throws it at the wall. Doing this hits the A button and the controller hitting the ground hits the A button again, selecting his attack, getting a critical hit and winning him the battle. In other words, he beat Evice by rage quitting.
Chugga: Don't ever underestimate nerd rage.
