Chiasmata

• Any time the first group bickers amongst themselves is usually good for a few laughs. The conversation/argument between Daniel and Sam/Aidan near the beginning particularly stands out, especially when he tries to lay down his "ground rules"
  Daniel: Rule one: don't attack me. I don't care how much infighting there is, but I don't want to have to fight anyone.
  Sam: So generous.
  Daniel: Rule two: don't follow me around like a pair of braindead sheep. I am not going to be the leader of this little triumvirate of twits. And me.
  Aidan: You sure you're not one of the twits?
  Daniel: Yes I am sure. And rule number three is that you idiots do as I say.
  Sam: Not on your life.
  Daniel: What? That is a perfectly reasonable thing to ask.
• The surprisingly calm way Bonnie reacts to growing something that looks more like it would belong on an arthropod or reptile then a human after cutting her arm off.
  Bonnie: This healing thing is awful. I want a refund.
• Also this little interaction, especially when you look at the accompanying picture and realize just how big the height difference between them is.
  Daniel: Stop philosophising and get on with it. I need someone to share my pain of slowly lost humanity. Apart from Bonnie. She's decidedly unsympathetic.
  Bonnie: Shut your face.
• And let's not forget the begining of chapter two when Jacqueline exits her room, and we get our first glimpse of how the second group makes Sam, Aidan, Daniel, and Bonnie look harmonious.
  Jacqueline: Is this place supposed to be on fire? What is this place? What is going on?
• The little tussle between Bonnie and Clara about Your Other Left.
  Clara: We should go right.
  Bonnie: Wait, my right or your right?
  Clara: Um. The right that's left.
  Bonnie: Oh, right.
  Clara: No, the label says left.
• Sam trying to understand the physics of the second Location.
  You can hear Daniel talking to... Jacqueline, you think. She's the third person on this floor, which apparently bends the rules of space and geometry into pretzels. Each room borders the other two on two sides? Maybe? Your head hurts.
• Daniel really Hates Being Nicknamed.
  Sam: Dan's a nice name.
  Daniel: It's Daniel.
  • This is one of the things that do not change during the comic.
  Ash: So, Dan, did you wake up in the third room?
  Daniel: I, Daniel, woke up in the room above Sam's, and- oh.
• Every puzzle to the Location entrance leads to a Who Will Bell the Cat? - situation.
• The sudden Gravity Screw here.
• 'Anders' (Archivist) hilariously discovers his disguise doesn't work:
  Oh bother. I thought it wouldn't recognize me.
• The comment over here.

• There's something funny about Leo's first appearance. In true comic style, there has to be an exclamation mark above the ghost, too.

• At one point the author was answering questions in character on their Tumblr, and some of them are just gold. Like when Device was asked about the weirdest thing he's ever seen in the Benefactors League.
  Device: We… I once found Harlequin trapped up a tree. He was making cat noises and demanding to be rescued.
