Fridge Brilliance:

  • Why are most of Rori's meals described in loving detail? It's mentioned that he was frequently starved during his imprisonment. Any food he gets will naturally taste great.
  • Why do the slaves appear to be in (slightly) better condition in the side story? We've seen that the one who was in charge during Rori's imprisonment is no longer there, for whatever reason.
  • Why does Rori need little help finding a room in his massive new home after he's already been there once? He was abused for years, and quickly memorizing the layout of a room is an ability abuse victims develop to help them escape their abusers.
  • The pets are all, in some way, reflections on their owners and their preferences for what kind of pets they have.
    • Xávirac is shown to mostly have felines, a species known for being beautiful and elegant, but also temperamental and demanding. The fact that they all adore him shows that he gives them all the love and care that they need.
    • Tavixis is shown to prefer more exotic species as his pets. While the only one we get a close look at is Gloria, her harem outfit is described as looking like a maid uniform, which are black and white, just like Tavixis (who, it should be noted, is colorblind). It's likely she picked it herself, since her thigh-high socks are blue, and the exact shade as her Master's eyes, the only color he has on him other than black and white.
    • Satiirian is known as The Rainbow Dragon due to the many colors he has. Naturally, he has pets with unusual fur coloring and spared no expense to make sure their clothes complimented rather than clashed with them. However, it's possible he didn't set out to have pets who reflected on him physically, because when we see him choose a pet in the side story, he picks him based on his personality and mental state.

Fridge Horror:

  • Xávirac delegates important tasks, such as recruitment, to Melissa, because she has a talent for picking out the right people and he'd end up buying everyone to rescue them. However, as we saw in the side story, there might be other reasons he doesn't just do it himself.
