Hammerhead Production is an effects studio established in the mid-1990s by five former employees of Pacific Data Images. As the name implies, the studio is largely known for its fish and water animation, which can be seen in Deep Blue Sea, Blue Crush, Undercover Brother and Couples Retreat.

Tropes associated with Hammerhead:
- Animal Theme Naming: They're named after the hammerhead shark.
- Reality Is Unrealistic: In the site's entry of Titanic, there's a comment in that one scene of the miniature ship (by Digital Domain) looked faker than the CG Dolphins that were also present.
