Cinesite is a European effects studio and subsidiary of Eastman Kodak.note  The company was founded in 1991, and was originally used as a testing ground for Kodak's Cineon computer system. After the system's discontinuation in 1997, the studio became specialized solely in special effects and post-production.

From 1994 to 2003, there was a division situated within Hollywood. Most of its employees have since went on to form Furious FX.

The company also has done miniature work in addition to its CGI. Their website can be found here and complete credits from both divisions can be found here and here. See also Image Engine and Nitrogen, two Canadian studios acquired by the company in 2015 and 2017, respectively. The studio has also partnered with animation companies Trixter Studios in Germany, L'Atlier Animation and Squeeze Animation in Canada, Assemblage Entertainment in India and Fx3x in Macedonia.
