Marauders
Mister Sinister (Nathaniel Essex)
Nathaniel Essex, also known as Mister Sinister, is a mutant who is the leader of the Marauders and a servant of Apocalypse. He and the Marauders collect mutant DNA in order to create the "Ultimate Mutant."
- Arch-Enemy: To Cyclops, due to attempting to use Jean Grey in his experiments in the past.
- Badass Bookworm: An evil version, but he is probably the world's foremost expert on mutant genetics.
- Badass Cape: He rocks this as apart of his costume.
- Evil Sounds Deep: A tradition for anyone played by Clancy Brown, Sinister here has a deep menacing voice.
- Faux Affably Evil: He acts all suave and gentleman-like, but really is nothing more than a cold, calculating Sociopath with a Supremacy-Complex.
- For Science!: His usual motive.
- Karma Houdini: Thanks to the show's cancelation, he doesn't receive any punishment for all the torment he put Cyclops, Angel, and Jean through. Oh, and the last time we see him, he gets to be Co-Dragons with Cyclops to Apocalypse in a new Bad Future.
- Mad Scientist: He emphasizes the science over the madness at least, though being more competent doesn't necessarily make him any less evil.
- Manipulative Bastard: As per usual, he is this.
- The Man Behind the Man: He is the man behind the Marauders.
Arclight
Arclight is a mutant and the field leader of the Marauders. He has the ability to generate seismic energies with his hands that cause shock waves and geo tremors.
- Composite Character: Arclight has the gender of the Age of Apocalypse character and hence is a male, but the powers of the classic Arclight and sports a Spear Counterpart's version of her costume.
- Gender Flip: Arclight was changed from a woman into a man for the show. According to the commentary for "eXcessive Force", this was done because the crew was uncomfortable with having Cyclops violently confronting a woman while looking for Mister Sinister.
- Lightning Bruiser: His Mutant power.
- Dishing Out Dirt: His mutant power has some degree of this.
Blockbuster (Michael Baer)
Michael Baer, also known as Blockbuster, is a mutant and a member of Mister Sinister's Marauders. He has super strength, invulnerability, and stamina.
- The Brute: To The Marauders.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Mainly through being the team's powerhouse.
- Super-Strength: His main mutant power.
Harpoon (Kodiak Noatak)
Kodiak Noatak, also known as Harpoon, is a mutant and a member of Mister Sinister's Marauders. He has the ability to charge metal with bio-energy in order to project energy harpoons.
- Adaptational Dye-Job: He has brown hair instead of the red hair he has in the comics.
- Ki Manipulation: Harpoon, though he requires an object to channel them into, uses his signature weapon.
Multiple Man (Jamie Madrox)
Jamie Madrox, also known as Multiple Man, is a mutant and a member of Mister Sinister's Marauders. He has the ability to duplicate himself.
- Adaptational Villainy: Despite being a main character in X-Factor since the 90's, Multiple Man is a member of Mr. Sinister's Marauders in this series.
- Comic-Book Movies Don't Use Codenames: An animated example. Promotional Material aside, he was only referred to by his surname "Madrox" instead of his codename from the comics "Multiple Man" throughout his only appearance on the series "eXcessive Force".
- Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: In the episode "Shades of Grey" (the final appearance of the Marauders in the series), he is mysteriously absent despite the fact that he was shown to be a member of the Marauders in "eXcessive Force".
- Mutant: He is one with the ability to duplicate himself.
- Me's a Crowd: It is his mutant power.
Vertigo
Vertigo is a mutant and a member of Mister Sinister's Marauders. She has the ability to create extreme disorientation, nausea and unconsciousness.
- Mind Manipulation: She has an extremely limited degree of this through being able to induce sensations of intense disorientation, nausea and unconsciousness in others.
- Ms. Fanservice: Her outfit shows off quite a bit of her toned broad shoulders.
- The Smurfette Principle: She is the only female member of the Marauders.
Archangel (Warren Worthington III)
Born and raised in affluence, Warren Worthington III, also known as Angel, is a mutant who is one of the founding members of the X-Men and forced to hide who he has become to spare his own intolerant family from embarrassment. As such, he leads a dual life. One playing the dutiful heir to the family fortune, and the other as the mysterious Angel, who uses his abilities to help those in need and is a member of the X-Men. That is until his wings were damaged in a clash with the MRD and amputated during surgery at the hospital due to them being damaged beyond repair. Angel is approached by Mister Sinister who uses his technology to transform Angel into Archangel. Angel's wings can carry up to twice his weight and can fly him to 29,000 feet at speeds up to 159 mph along with cutting through flesh and projecting blades. His enhanced lungs enable him to breathe at high altitudes and he possesses extraordinary eyesight.

- Aborted Arc: He's still under Sinister's control and his storyline will never be resolved due to the series' cancellation.
- Amazing Technicolor Population: He has blue skin.
- Artificial Limbs: After becoming Archangel, Warren has his naturally-occuring wings amputated and replaced with razor-edged metallic wings that can shoot blades.
- Flight: Thanks to his metal wings, he is able to fly.
- I Believe I Can Fly: He has the ability to fly thanks to his metal wings.
- Razor Wings: He has techno-organic wings that can cut through flesh.
- Winged Humanoid: He has a pair of razor sharped wings.
