The Outfoxies
General
The ragtag bunch of murderers-for-hire hired by Mr. Acme to kill several art collectors... and each other.
- The Bad Guy Wins: The last one standing is able to comfortably retire on their ill-gotten earnings and never face any criminal charges for the numerous murders they've committed.
- Evil Versus Evil: The whole sorry situation boils down to ruthless and unapologetic hitmen killing each other until only one remains. Hardly anyone can be considered a good guy.
- Professional Killer: All of them are hitmen hired by Mr. Acme.
- Swiss Bank Account: Considering that they are all contract killers, their bank accounts are based in Switzerland. Mr. Acme predictably pays them in Swiss francs for their services.
- Villain Protagonist: Every last one of them is ultimately, at the end of the day, an unrepentant contract killer.
- Would Hurt a Child: None of them have any qualms about shooting a pair of 11-year olds in the face.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Mr. and Mrs. Acme attempt to kill the Sole Survivor so that they don't have to pay them. Said survivor retaliates.
John Smith
The man who would do anything from babysitting to agitating a revolution to get money.
- The Ace: Who else is trusted to do absolutely anything?
- The Generic Guy: He's the most basic of the lot. His name's even average as well.
- Jack of All Stats: He's not as fast as Dweeb, but not as big of a target as Professor Ching. His strength is also good, but not great.
- Only in It for the Money: Babysitting for money? He'll do that. Kickstarting a revolution for money? He'll do that as well.
- Rugged Scar: Sports one over his eye, befitting his dangerous job.
Betty Doe
A successful international businesswoman who desperately needs capital to fund her several businesses. Her diverse background includes being a former high paid hit woman.
- Combat Stilettos: Runs around shooting people in golden high heels.
- Corrupt Corporate Executive: Corrupt enough to use her skills as a hitwoman for money, at least.
- Villain in a White Suit: Morally dubious (then again, everyone is), and wears a white businesswoman's suit.
Bernard White
A bio-tech engineer with super human strength. An experiment resulted in him losing his hand. He now has an artificial hand made of steel.
- Artificial Limbs: He has a steel hand after losing his actual one in a Freak Lab Accident.
- Ambidextrous Sprite: His steel hand swaps sides depending on which way he's looking. Not even promotional materials can decide which hand he lost.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: His ending reveals that he has a wife and two kids - and he cares for them enough to go camping with them.
- Ironic Name: Bernard White, the only black man.
Danny and Demi
The ex-Siamese twins, separated by a train crash. In the Japanese version, they were created in a labratory by a Mad Scientist. Besides being extremely intelligent, they both possess a sinister and criminal mind.
- Conjoined Twins: Ex-conjoined twins; at least in the overseas version anyways.
- Creepy Twins: Doesn't get any more creepier than performing murder together. One of their ending photos has them setting a mascot on fire at an amusement park with smiles on their faces.
- The Dividual: They aren't one anymore, but still act as though they are.
- Enfant Terrible: Both of them, professional murderers-for-hire at the ripe young age of 11.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: While they are cold-hearted hitmen who have no empathy to anyone, they do care for each other. In their death animation, they hug one another before collapsing to the ground.
- Single-Minded Twins: They do everything together from firing guns and attacking their enemies to, should they run out of health, dying together.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: If not selected, the player character confronts them on a ship as they attempt to run for their lives to Europe.
Eve
A "has-been" film starlet. Now a thief to support her lavish lifestyle. She has the skill to break into areas as secure as Fort Knox with the aid of her well-trained lizard.
- Assist Character: Her iguana's not there for show.
- Classy Cat-Burglar: After film roles ran dry for her, she took up burglary.
- Psycho Pink: She has neon pink hair and is just as bloodthirsty as everyone else.
- Reptiles Are Abhorrent: Her iguana, by proxy of being her pet and being present when she kills.
- Shoot the Television: When she kills one of the others, she shoots the TV with their picture at the Score Screen.
- White-Dwarf Starlet: She's a washed-up has-been actress at 29.
Professor Ching
The mysterious Oriental scientist who rides on a killer-wheel-chair he designed. Though partially handicapped, he is a famous master of Chinese martial arts.
- All Asians Know Martial Arts: The only Chinese man, who just so happens to know martial arts.
- Cut Lex Luthor a Check: If he's the last man standing, he uses his money to start selling his robotic projects to the public.
- Evil Old Folks: He's 82, the oldest of the group, and he has no qualms about murdering animals or children.
- Handicapped Badass: He has to rely on a wheelchair. Still capable of mopping the floor with you, however.
- Super Wheelchair: His wheelchair's decked out with gadgets and gizmos... which he turns on his fellow assassins.
Dweeb
The only known professional killer who works for bananas. He is the kidnapped son of the famous TV star, world's most intelligent chimpanzee "Mr. Happy".
- A Lighter Shade of Black: His backstory is the only one that implies that he is an unwilling participant, making him marginally more sympathetic than everybody else. Doesn't change anything about him being a Professional Killer though.
- Badass in a Nice Suit: He looks rather dignified for a simian murderer while clad in a tuxedo, bowtie and top hat.
- Fan Boy: He appears to be a big fan of a Captain Ersatz of Sesame Street - upon a successful hit he switches the TV depicting his fallen enemy over to it, and he helps himself to another viewing should he emerge as the sole survivor.
- Inadequate Inheritor: Mr. Happy is a famous TV star renowned for being the world's most intelligent chimpanzee. Dweeb on the other hand spends his time killing people. In his defence, he doesn't have much of a choice.
- Maniac Monkeys: A chimpanzee willing to kill for a banana.
