    Kokoa Watatsumi

Kokoa Watatsumi

Voiced by: Konomi Kohara (Japanese)
More accurately, "Kokoa of the Watatsumi series". She is an illegally cloned magician whose escape from her creators initiated the plot of the movie The Girl Who Calls The Stars.
  • Security Cling: She accepts the hug offered by Erika, and often hides her face in Erika's shirt when scared.
  • Hidden Eyes: During Kokoa's enslavement, a fringe of shaggy dark hair covered her eyes. Since sight was irrelevant to her purpose, no one bothered to cut it.
  • Powered by a Forsaken Child: Kokoa was the child, a fact the heroes find especially shocking because the Japanese Navy is only allowed to clone adults. She and eight other Watatsumi acted as a weapon's living battery, which eroded both their magic and their personalities.
  • Replacement Goldfish: The main reason Tatsuya decides to help her is that her situation reminds him of Honami's.
  • Undying Loyalty: Her first priority after finding shelter is persuading people to save her eight "sisters".
  • Younger Than They Look: Due to malnourishment.
