Rob

Rob is the title protagonist. He is a young, curious robot who loves to explore the Robot Galaxy.

Catchphrase:
- "It's time for us to pick a planet!"
- "Hurry everyone, get to your stations and buckle your seatbelts!"

Characterization Marches On: In early episodes, he was pretty uninformed about what many things are (including not knowing what ice is). Later on, this element of his character faded to focus on his energy and klutziness.
Color-Coded Characters: His designated color is white/silver.
Color Failure:
- In "Colour Confusion", a paint gun turned him black.
- In "Space Virus Blues", he turns blue upon catching the space virus.
Genki Guy: Has lots of energy to spare.
Injured Limb Episode: In one episode, he hurts his foot, which breaks his rocket shoe.
The Klutz: In a few episodes, such as "The Perfect Pumpkin", he tends to stumble.

Ema is the secondary protagonist. She is an alien girl who loves to dance.

Affectionate Nickname: Her cousin Mea calls her "Em".
Alien Among Us: A rare example where she is an alien among non-humans.
An Alien Named "Bob": Her name is an unorthodox spelling of "Emma".
Aliens Speaking English: Ema speaks perfect English.
Color-Coded Characters: Her designated colors are pink and green.
Girly Girl: The most feminine of the main cast.
Little Green Men: Gender-flipped.
Pink Means Feminine: Wears a pink jumpsuit and pink hair decorations.
Red/Green Contrast: Well, Pink-Green Contrast, but her design has these two contrasting colours, as opposed to the robots having a signature colour with black accents.

TK is a main protagonist. Her defining trait is her built in toolbox, which contains a lot of plot-convenient items.

Color-Coded Characters: Her designated color is red.
Color Failure:
- In "Color Confusion", the paint gun turned her yellow.
- In "Space Virus Blues", she turns blue. However, unlike the boys, she was sick before she turned blue.
Height Angst: She expresses angst for being the smallest of the main 4 in "Tall Tale", kickstarting the events of the episode.
Meaningful Name: Her full name is Tool Kit.
Only Known by Their Nickname: You could very well go through the entire series without knowing what TK stands for, especially since her full name is only mentioned on the website.
Red and Black and Evil All Over: Inverted. She's red with black accents, but she's nothing but nice.
Rule of Three: Whenever she digs through her toolbox, she always pulls out three items; two are just random objects, and the third is what she actually needed.
Shrinking Violet: Shyer than the other kids.

Orbit

Orbit is a main protagonist. He is a neurotic artist.

Child Prodigy: His art skills are very advanced for a seven-year-old.

- In "Color Confusion", the paint gun turns him pink, green, and purple.
- In "Space Virus Blues", he turns blue upon catching the space virus.
The Lancer: The polar opposite of Rob.
Nervous Wreck: Orbit is hesitant to everything, and will scream at the drop of a hat.
Red Oni, Blue Oni: The hesitant, coawrdly Blue Oni to Rob's Red Oni.

Mission Control

Mission Control is the deuteragonist. He usually sends the kids on missions.

Mea

Ema's cousin.

Meaningful Name: Her name is an anagram for Ema's name.
Yellow/Purple Contrast: Similarly to Ema's Red/Green Contrast, Mea has yellow skin and wears purple.
