Main Characters
Frankie Ripp
- Portrayed by: Eliana Su'a
A 14-year-old girl who came back from the dead. She works as an assistant to The Grim Reaper.
- All of the Other Reindeer: She becomes this once she comes back from the Underworld, as instead of being noticed and loved, she is ignored by her peers.
- Came Back Strong: A side effect of her resurrection gives her weather based powers whenever she feels strong emotion.
- Deal with the Devil: Because she died before her scheduled time, she's allowed to return to life. However, the contract allowing her to do so also requires her to complete tasks for the Grim Reaper.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: The Responsible to Remy's Foolish.
- Locked into Strangeness: Gains a streak of white in her hair after being resurrected, which cannot be dyed or washed out.
- Nice Girl: She is a very nice person.
- We Used to Be Friends: Frankie and Layla were friends until Frankie posted a photo of Layla against her wishes.
Pretty
- Portrayed by: Kyan Samuels
One of Frankie's bodyguards who is constantly cheerful.
- Nice Guy: He is a very nice person as he will help welcome people whenever they enter the Underworld.
Scary
- Portrayed by: Leah Mei Gold
Frankie's other bodyguard who is moody and sullen.
- Deadpan Snarker: She tends to make very sarcastic comments.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold:
Remy Ripp
- Portrayed by: Yonas Kibreab
Frankie's younger brother and the only one aware of the Grim Reaper's presence, leader of the SWEATI club.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Is the Foolish to Frankie’s Responsible.
- Paranormal Investigation: He runs a two-tween group called S.W.E.A.T.I. Snickering Willows Eerie and/or Alien Tween Investigators.
- Secret-Keeper: He and Nyx are the only ones who know that Frankie has to do tasks as Grim’s assistant.
Nyx Peppers
- Portrayed by: Emma Shannon
Frankie's new emo best friend, who has a belief in anything supernatural.
- Deadpan Snarker:
- Took a Level in Kindness: After Frankie died and came back to her life, she started to become very nice to Frankie, defending her whenever anyone made fun of her.
- Secret-Keeper: She and Remy are the only ones who know that Frankie has to do tasks as Grim’s assistant.
Underworld
Grim Reaper
- Portrayed by: Siobhan Murphy
The Grim Reaper of the underworld and the boss of Pretty and Scary.
- Affably Evil: She is very friendly towards everyone, including ones who have passed away. She is also very benevolent towards her employees, Pretty and Scary.
- Even Evil Has Standards: While she has Frankie do the task of retrieving her book of souls to her after Theodore steals it, she warns her not to open it, which reveals that a soul can possess someone’s body which happens to Remy once he was told not to touch it and opens it anyway
- Grim Reaper: She is this, due to her collecting souls as well as doing soul contracts.
- Pet the Dog:
- In “Life of The Party”, she comforted Frankie and even cheered her on for her party and speech.
- In “Locker Life“, despite not being able to help at the moment, she was really happy that Frankie called her a best friend. Plus, she was willing to help.
- Villain Has a Point: While she did trick Frankie into signing her contract without informing her about the tasks, she is correct to point out that Frankie should have read the entire contract before signing, which Remy also pointed out.
Kristine
The former apprentice and right hand of Grim, Theodore’s minion, and The Grim Reaper.
- The Bad Guy Wins: In the season one finale, she takes over Grim’s place while she’s in trial and takes Erlic with her.
- The Dragon: She turned out to be in
- Jerkass: She insulted and is rude to people such as refusing to eat Breakfast for being a waste of time.
- The Mole: Implied. While it wasn’t hinted or anything, it was revealed in the season one finale that she was working for Theodore.
Recurring Characters
Jonathan Ripp
- Portrayed by: Shawn Carter Peterson
- Locked Out of the Loop: He is unaware the Frankie has to do tasks for The Grim Reaper in order to stay in her normal life. He finds out in the Season One finale “Life or Death”, when he found Frankie’s contract with Grim”.
- Papa Bear: He was very sad when he and his wife found out that Frankie had died and was very happy once she came back to life.
Wendy Ripp
- Portrayed by: Napiera Groves
- Locked Out of the Loop: She is unaware that Frankie has to do tasks for The Grim Reaper in order to stay in her normal life. She finds out in the Season One finale “Life or Death”, when she found Frankie’s contract with Grim”.
- Mama Bear: She was very sad when she and her husband found out that Frankie had died and was very happy once she came back to life.

- Nice Guy: He’s pretty much a nice person to begin with.
Erlic Snickering
- Portrayed by: Yuvi Hecht
- Nice Guy: He is a pretty nice guy as he always comforts Frankie.
- Took a Level in Kindness: After Frankie comes back to life after she was sent to The Underworld, he becomes nicer to her.
Layla
- Portrayed by: Adora Sheigh
- Locked Out of the Loop: She is unaware of Frankie doing tasks for the Grim Reaper.
- My God, What Have I Done?: She became very guilty for not giving Frankie a chance after she died in the underworld.
- Took a Level in Kindness: She becomes this as she and Frankie make up after the latter apologized for not giving her a chance.
- We Used to Be Friends: She and Frankie used to be this until Frankie posted a pic of her which made her upset.
Town
Theodore Snickering
The great grandfather of Erlic who is Grim’s first victim that was supposed to go the the Underworld.
- Arch-Enemy: He becomes one to Frankie.
- The Bad Guy Wins: Not only did he get away again from being sent to the underworld but he has Erlic sent with Grim as well.
- Big Bad: He becomes one since Grim is having Frankie do tasks to stop him with his plans and take him back to the Underworld.
- Gruesome Grandparent: He is very neglected towards his great grandson Erlic. He even tried to erase his memories and had him trapped in The Underworld with Grim in the season finale.
