    Cesar Fever

Demon form
"Come on Tea, let’s show them how strong my flow is!"

The protagonist of the mod, and the mayor of Fever Town. He recently made a new rule that anyone who beats him in a rap battle can take his place as mayor, so now he must defend his title.

  • The Alcoholic: Fever frequently gets himself wasted on alcohol due to both the stresses of being mayor and just liking to drink, and writing most of Fever Town's laws while drunk is the reason he's forced to fight several of the characters, since during some Alcohol-Induced Idiocy he made Klingon Promotion and a requirement to always answer a challenge to the mayor position part of said laws.
  • Contrasting Sequel Main Character: Boyfriend was a human college dropout who rapped whoever Daddy Dearest sent his way in an effort to cement his relationship with Girlfriend, a demon. Cesar Fever is a demon himself and had a criminal past before settling down with his space rabbit girlfriend and becoming the mayor of Fever Town. The only reason he's rapping anyone is because he made a law while drunk that if anyone could beat him in a rap battle, they'd become the new mayor. And now he has to rap to protect his position. So Boyfriend's case was Heroes Act, Villains Hinder, while Cesar's is Villains Act, Heroes React.
  • Glamour Failure: He's a demon disguised as a human. By the 3rd song of every week, he drops the disguise and reveals his real purple skin and horns. This is due to him either getting very emotional or very confident. By the end of the song, he calms down and returns to human form.
  • Interspecies Romance: He (a demon) is dating Tea (a bunny/bat hybrid).
  • Let's Get Dangerous!: Fever is normally a constantly tired guy with a Hair-Trigger Temper, but every 3rd song has him decide enough is enough, drop his human form to reveal his true demon form, and show the opponent he means business, before going back to normal when he's won. He doesn't go all out from the start because of his constant exhaustion and how transforming gives him a headache, so he only brings out his A-game when he's got enough of a good flow going that he can ignore the stress.
  • Mayor Pain: Fever Town is a Wretched Hive, he barely gets any work done, and tends to make the rules while he's drunk, which is what led to the creation of the rule that his position can be taken by anyone who beats him in a rap battle.
  • Retired Monster: Used to be a notorious criminal, but fled to Earth in order to start a new life and lay low. Unfortunately for him, his past catches up to him when Yukichi arrives at the end of Week 5.

    Tea
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tea_0.png
"Bruh."

An anthropomorphic bunny/bat hybrid from another planet, and Cesar's girlfriend. She serves as the tutorial, with "Milk Tea".

  • Barefoot Cartoon Animal: While her pose both in-game and in art hides her waist, making it ambiguous if she's a pants-less Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal or just wearing black tights, it's clear from her prominent toes that Tea doesn't wear shoes, compared to the rest of the cast, who do. Subverted with the 1.2 update, which redesigns her as a Fully-Dressed Cartoon Animal.
  • Contrasting Sequel Main Character: While Girlfriend was a demon who was no less stupid than Boyfriend, Tea is an anthropomorphic bunny/bat hybrid who is dating a demon, and tends to be the Only Sane Woman in most situations.
  • Instant Wristwatch: Her outfit is a sort of sweater, but some of her portrait sprites will give her the pockets of a hoodie so she can stick her hands in them.
  • Interspecies Romance: She (a bunny/bat hybrid) and Cesar (a demon).
  • Only Sane Woman: Fever has a problem with getting extremely passionate about things, and most of the opponents are some form of crazy, so it's often up to Tea to make note of the ridiculousness and how Fever gets so caught up in things that he forgets what his original plans were.
  • Super-Strength: Cesar (who's a demon) claims that she is "super strong", and according to Word of God, she's strong enough to lift a car. This comes in handy during "Gears" when she carries Fever near the end of the song.
  • What the Hell, Hero?:
    • Tea expresses furious disappointment in Fever when he eats part of the Anthropomorphic Food Makomelon, with her disliking his excuse that being hungry would in any way make eating part of another living being okay.
    • Tea gets even angrier when she learns that Fever was keeping his criminal background a secret from her. She then tells him she won't let him hear the end of this when they get home.
  • Written-In Absence: Leaves at the start of Week 4 after seeing Hunni's pet rabbits, and is replaced by Cherry for the Week.

    Peakek
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/peakek.png
"People will surely begin to understand that we'll have a lot more fun when I'M ruling over."

A shapeshifter who serves as the opponent of Week 1.

His songs before the frenzy update include "Metamorphosis", "Void", and "Down Bad".Note

His songs as of the frenzy update include "Peastep", "Eros", and "Down Horrendous".

  • Dude Looks Like a Lady: Switches between two female forms throughout his songs. One form wears dark clothing and has black and blond hair, while the other wears blue and pink with matching hair.
  • Too Kinky to Torture: After spending so long feeling bored about life, experiencing all of Fever's insults and scorn causes Peakek to realize he loves the feeling of being humiliated and put down, with him having heart pupils and drooling constantly from the ecstasy during his third song, appropriately titled "Down Bad" or "Down Horrendous". Fever and Tea are understandably disturbed by this.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifter: Peakek is a shadowy entity with the ability to take on various human-like forms, with him mostly sticking to a female black girl form while shifting between having either red-and-blue hair and a blue blouse, red skirt, and stockings combo or black-and-blonde hair with a striped shirt, shorts, and leggings, but he also transforms into Fever just to fuck with him. The battles of his week feature him repeatedly shifting back and forth between his main appearances, with his true shadow form between them. The transformation theme is emphasized by how his original first song is called "Metamorphosis".

    Wee
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wee_0.png
"Afraid that I'm gonna destroy you in front of your girl?"
An anthropomorphic black cat who serves as the first opponent of Week 2.

His songs as of the halloween update include "Star Baby" and "Last Meow".

    Taki
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/taki_3.png
「神は貴方の戦いを見ています」
("God is watching you struggle.")

A psychopathic nun with a chainsaw who serves as the second opponent of Week 2, as well as the opponent of week 2.5.

Her songs in week 2 include "Bazinga" and "Crucify", while her songs in week 2.5 include "Prayer" and "Bad Nun".

Note: Taki is a bigender character, so this section will use both he/him and she/her pronouns.

  • All There in the Manual: Due to the fact Taki is so Ax-Crazy that he almost never speaks, everything about his character is only known through mentions by his creator TokkoTaki, such as how he's bi-gender, going by both he/him and she/her pronouns.
  • Ax-Crazy: Taki threatens Fever and Tea with a chainsaw and is decidedly not sane.
  • Chainsaw Good: Taki carries around a chainsaw and swings it about while singing. Her creator has stated that she carries one because she finds that it provides the most fun when maiming her victims.
  • Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: To Monster. While both are Ax-Crazy serial killers, they have different motives. Monster is a Humanoid Abomination who softly sings about murdering and eating humans all while tormenting and twisting his victim's perception. Taki is a nun who doesn't talk much, just frantically singing gibberish as he swings his chainsaw around trying to murder Cesar and Tea. The four words he speaks just before "Crucify" make his motives clear. He wants his victims to meet God. Monster's songs are fairly slow paced while Taki's are very quick and note heavy.
  • Corrupted Character Copy: Taki is an (unintentional) twisted copy of Sarvente, as both are not-so-holy nuns drawn in a similar art style, but Sarvente is kindhearted, if a bit pushy, and a demon queen, while Taki is a chainsaw-wielding psycho from space, yet vaguely resembling a ghost.
  • Deadly Euphemism: Spends most of both songs swinging around her chainsaw, and ominously tells Fever "You will meet God" just before "Crucify".
  • Evil Laugh: Taki lets out a demonic cackle at both the beginning and end of "Bazinga".
  • Fish Eyes: At first glance it looks like Taki has pupil-less Prophet Eyes, but the two black lines in the corner of each eye are actually his pupils. He can straighten them, but prefers not to.
  • Humanoid Aliens: Is an alien with heavy resemblance to a human.
  • Knight Templar: She thinks she's carrying out God's will.

    Makomelon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mako_30.png
During "Retribution"
"Pfft, you call those rhymes fine?"

An animate watermelon who serves as the opponent of Week 3.

His songs as of the halloween update include "Mako", "VIM" (Very Important Melon), and "Retribution".Note

  • Turns Red: After Cesar eats a bit of his head before "Retribution", Makomelon grows a horn and turns yellow with glowing eyes. After "Retribution", he returns to normal.

    Hunni
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hunni.png
"I'm Hunni, but there's no need to tell you my name.
Cause after I beat you, the rest of the world will soon know."

A former pop idol and the opponent of Week 4.

Her songs include "Honey", "Bunni", and "Throw It Back".

    Cherry
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cherry_33.png
"It's been a while huh Fever? Doesn't seem like you got much taller from the last time we met, though."

Hunni's friend, who takes Tea's place in Week 4.

    Pepper Demon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pepper_48.png
"Hey, dad!"

A small pepper-headed demon and the first opponent of Week 5. He believes Fever to be his father.

His songs include "Mild" and "Spice".

  • Children Are Innocent: Is completely unaware of Fever's past, only meekly asking why the police are after him.
  • Cosmic Motifs: His entire body is dotted with stars, as are his eyes; his balloon also has a star on it, and his idle has a small star appear and disappear near his head.
  • Cute Monster: He's a small cheerful kid covered in a star-like pattern; his design overall is very easy on the eyes, unlike Monster, the character his design is based off of.
  • Hero of Another Story: After Fever bemoans something always happening on the third song, Pepper asks "You too?", implying he's both sung with other people and has had this happen to him as well.
  • Luke, You Are My Father: Played with. He believes Fever to be his dad, and while at first Fever wants nothing to do with him, he eventually does accept Pepper Demon as his son.
  • Nonhuman Humanoid Hybrid: Half demon, half chili pepper.
  • Star-Spangled Spandex: His black body is covered with small yellow and blue stars, making it look like a night sky. This is furthered with his portrait sprites, which depict the pink splotches on his body as white.
  • Virtuous Character Copy: His design is based off of Monster, but unlike Monster, who is obsessed with eating people, Pepper Demon is just an innocent child with no signs of malice.

    Yukichi
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yukichi.png
"Alright everyone!
Which of you are evading your taxes?"

A member of the Space Police. He shows up at the end of Week 5, having been sent to capture Cesar for his criminal past.

His sole song is "Party Crasher".

  • Call-Back: Like in his game of origin, Yukichi mentions tax evasion.
  • Guest Fighter: Yukichi comes from his own Friday Night Funkin' mod, "Cosmo Calamity".
  • Hero Antagonist: Most of the opponents are either utter scum picking fights with Fever or friendly characters that just want to have some fun, but Yukichi fights Fever because the demon is a wanted criminal who escaped prison, and is Just Following Orders by trying to put him back behind bars; when Fever asks if Yukichi knows the torture he was put through behind bars, Yukichi remarks that it's not in his jurisdiction to question.
  • Just Following Orders: He doesn't care about what the jailors do to criminals in space prison, he's getting Cesar behind bars no matter what.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Like in his own mod, Yukichi wears a mostly pink outfit.
  • Shout-Out: Upon closer inspection, the patch on his officer's hat is a crewmate.
  • Space Police: He's an alien and a cop.
  • Your Days Are Numbered: After Fever and Tea lie that Pepper is Fever's son arresting him would result in Pepper becoming an orphan, Yukichi lets Fever go, but warns him that "His days of being free are almost up".

    Mega
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mega_3.png
"Tea, was it? Are you yet charmed by my stunning words?
My... sparkling eyes?
My confident demenour?
The angelic singing voice maybe?"

The protagonist of "Ur Girl Simulator", battling Fever with the intention of taking Tea for herself.

Her songs include "Ur Girl" and "Chicken Sandwich".

  • Turns Red: Much like Senpai from the original "Friday Night Funkin'", she gets upset after losing the first song. Unlike Senpai, she doesn't threaten to rip Fever's nuts off, instead becoming flustered at the two's antics.

    Flippy (God) (SPOILERS
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/flippy_2.png

The persona of FNF Youtuber Flippy, known for FC'ing any song, no matter the difficulty. In this mod's universe, he is GOD HIMSELF, and the second opponent of Week 6.

His sole song is "Funkin' God".

  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Meat's color will change depending on the note Flippy hits.
  • Guest Fighter: The second, after Yukichi, based off the persona of the Youtuber Flippy.
  • Mythology Gag: Next to Flippy is a Spirit-like version of Meat, referencing how Flippy's original profile picture was an image of Meat before he switched to using his OC.
  • Sealed Inside a Person-Shaped Can: He was trapped inside of Mega.
  • Shout-Out: Meat as a floating entity behind Flippy invokes the Stands from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Flippy's poses would also not be out of place within JoJo, and his down pose specifically references a memetic DIO pose.
  • Summon Bigger Fish: Mega gets so pissed off about how Fever and Tea refuse to take her seriously that she decides the only way to deal with her anger is to just summon God, who was apparently confined inside her body. He's quite thankful for Fever about angering Mega into releasing him, and promises to return him and Tea back home after they have a rap battle.

    Hallow
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hallow_4.png
"Kekekekeke!~"

A ghost who is capable of trapping others inside of paintings, and the first opponent of week ?.

His songs as of the frenzy update include "Hallow", "Eclipse", and "Soul".Note

    Paste
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/paste.png
"You... annoying...
Would... look... good... painting..."

Hallow's lover, and the second opponent of week ?.

Her sole song is "Dead Man's Melody".

    Wolfie(Removed)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wolfie_8.png
"This is just our secret hideout… we weren’t expecting people to find out about us…"

A plant boy who was previously a couple with Wee. He was one of the first opponents of week 2 previously. As of the halloween update, Wolfie is absent, leaving Wee by himself.

His songs (shared with Wee) included "Thriller" and "Legendary".

    Robo Fever
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/untitled698_20230531063126.png
HA HA HA!
"Heh, just wait until the boss hears about this!"

A robotic faker of Cesar Fever meant to replace and destroy him. He serves as the opponent of Week 7, singing "C354R", "Loaded", "Gears" and "Grando" against Cesar.

  • Evil Knockoff: Unlike Cesar, Robo Fever continues to maintain a criminal record hellbent on causing chaos and destroying the real Cesar.
  • Maniacal Laugh: Does this in "C354R", and with a good one.
  • Expy/Mythology Gag: Is seemingly based off of the very idea of Metal Sonic, given that he’s an evil robotic duplicate of Cesar meant to destroy and replace the original.
  • Glamour Failure: He's a giant mech disguised as a robotic duplicate of Cesar. By "Gears", he transforms into his true form and maintains it for a short time before Cesar destroys him.
  • Flipping the Bird: Does this twice in "C354R".
  • Badass Longcoat: His true form sports one.
  • Ridiculously Human Robots: He's almost indistinguishable from Cesar in terms of appearance, as well as containing Cesar’s ego and his capacity to go completely insane.
  • Loophole Abuse/Let's Get Dangerous!: If his attempt at blowing Cesar off of a train to kill Cesar wasn’t anything to go by…
  • You Will Not Evade Me: Pulls this off after transforming into his true form, constantly chasing after Cesar in an attempt to destroy him by any means possible.
  • Kill and Replace: Robo Fever’s ultimate goal is to not only kill Cesar Fever, but also replace everyone in Fever Town with robotic copies of the originals.
  • Break the Haughty: While normally a smug robotic impostor, in "Gears", while in his true form, gets pissed off at Cesar’s persistence and blows him off a train.
