  • Dark and Troubled Past: And How so. Both of their parents died in a freak accident when they were born, they were nearly split in half by a crazed doctor, was kidnapped and locked in a chicken coop for six years, sold into prostitution for another 7 years, and forced to be humiliated and work at a horrible circus, while seeing friends of theirs get sick and died.

  • Earn Your Happy Ending: Through all the awful things they’ve been through, they managed to get what they very much wanted, to be famous and have people who love them.

  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Their official names are Eva and Lynn Neville, but they refer to themselves and each other as Evelyn.

  • Trademark Favorite Food: Twix Bars.

  • Trauma Button: During the song “Chicken Man” one of the Evelyn’s begin to go through a mental breakdown due to remembering their time within the chicken coop, only being calmed down by a Twix Bar.

  • Trauma Conga Line: These girls’ childhood was anything but easy or pleasant.

     Sandy Fishents

A 12 year old girl that the Evelyn twins befriend in Underwood, who the two consider their only friend in their childhood.

  • Cool Big Sis: Acts as this to the twins, taking care of them and defending them within the Underwood, and would tell them grand stories to help them sleep at night.

  • Fille Fatale: A very disturbing variation, as she is forced to be this way due to Underwood being a child sex ring.

  • Uncertain Doom: When she turned 13, she was never seen again by The Evelyn Twins. It’s unknown if she was simply kicked out of the

     Louisa Neville

The biological mother of the Evelyn Twins, who’s the first tragedy the girls face.

  • Career vs. Man: Gave up a promising career to be with her husband and have a family.

The biological father of the Evelyn Twins, who dies not long after his wide.

  • Cruel and Unusual Death: Right in the middle of grieving his wife death, he is unceremoniously killed off by a chainsaw to the neck.

  • Happily Married: Loved his wife deeply and was distraught at his death,

     Doctor Charlie Von Kook
A doctor living in a poorly funded facility house who delivers the Evelyn Twins.

  • Asshole Victim: Considering he almost split the Evelyn Twins in half right at birth, his death at the hands of the Sheriff is not unreasonable or awful.

  • Chainsaw Good: Attempted to preform a surgery on the girls using a whole chainsaw.

  • The Fundamentalist: Is a crazy Bible thumping doctor who saw the Evelyn Twins as something against God’s creation.

  • Mad Doctor: Was the doctor who delivered the twins and immediately attempted to rip them in half with a chainsaw.

  • Morally Ambiguous Doctorate: Operates a run down and poorly operated doctor facility in his own trailer and when seeing Conjoined Twins, he attempts to split them in half with a chainsaw.

  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom: His attempts to split apart the twins ends up leading to the death of the twin’s father and his own, and begins the twins’ path to a horrific childhood of abuse and exploitation.

  • Would Hurt a Child: When seeing the Evelyn Twins’ condition, he immediately attempting to preform an operation on the, using a giant chainsaw.

  • Cruel and Unusual Death: Is flung into a windshield during a car accident and is left bleeding out.

  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Personally brings the twins care center himself, which ends up leading to a truck to swerve in and kill him.

  • Reasonable Authority Figure: Is a good sheriff who cares for the well-being of the kids. Unfortunately he doesn’t last long.

     Alfred McCluck

An elderly owner of a chicken farm in Clayton Georgia and the first of the Evelyn Twins’ guardians.

  • Abusive Parents: Of the neglectful variety. Despite not being malicious towards the kids, it’s clear that McCluck is woefully unprepared to raise kids nor even knows how to, and so treats them like chickens, keeping them in a small coop while feeding them alongside the other chicken.

  • Ax-Crazy: Something is clearly very wrong with the man, possibly due to the car accident he had.

  • Celibate Eccentric Genius: Apparently is a pretty we known chicken farmer and is really really weird, and never married himself, nor had any plans to.

  • Hidden Depths: Apparently he’s into civil war history, keeping memorabilia in his house.

  • Killed Offscreen: Dies one day from natural causes when the girls don’t get their dinner. They don’t find his body.

  • Laughing Mad: Begins laughing as he takes the two twins after the truck accident.

  • Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: The girls consider him this, being simply unable to understand how to take care of children.

     Mrs. Bouldger

The runner of the Underwood, an orphanage and the leader of Budding Flowers Entertainment, and one of the most horrific people that The Twins meet.

  • Abusive Parents: Runs an orphanage where she is the surrogate mother of many many young children, including the Evelyn Twins. She also runs the orphanage as a brothel where she has the girls sexually abused by men for money.
    • She also has three children herself

  • Adaptational Name Change: Her name changes from person to person and is either Deborah and Devora Bouldger, though the graphic novel calls her Devora.

  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: Runs Flower Budding Entertainment, where she distributes child pornography and pimps out orphaned kids.

  • Fat Bitch: The graphic novel version portrays her as very plump, and very ugly.

  • Faux Affably Evil: Described as having a “kind hearted face” and speaks politely and kindly, she is revealed to a manipulative predator who exploits the children for her own gain.

  • Karma Houdini: While the twins manage to leave the orphanage and live their best life, Mrs. Bouldger gets away with everything and suffers no consequences..
    • Karma Houdini Warranty: …unless you consider the canon graphic novel, where he operation is busted and she is sent to prison.

  • Manipulative Bastard: It’s made clear she conditions the girls into accepting this behavior and being sexual, and whenever the “uncles” get violent with them, she simply reminds them that “blood is thicker than water”

  • Pædo Hunt: She has the girls be used for pornography she distributes while also pimping them out to men, who she dubs as their “uncles.”

  • Twin Threesome Fantasy: Invoked and played disgustingly, as Mrs. Bouldger attempts to use the Evelyn twins status of being Conjoined Twins to get more clients:
I know you like twins, have I got a surprise! They’re identical sisters attached at the sides. Just imagine the fun you could have with these chicklets, and they’re so well-behaved, not a single complaint yet. Just look at these photographs, while I pour you a cocktail, I don’t know whether I should charge double or triple!

  • Would Hurt a Child: Has been extorting and exploiting many children to be sexually abused by men for years, and it’s possible she kills them once they turn “too old” such as with Sandy Fishnets.

     Dillard and Fullerton

The two ringleaders of Dillard and Fullerton’s elusive and illogical traveling show, who the Evelyn Twins become a centerpiece for.

  • Bad People Abuse Animals: They don’t treat their animals well, considering their neglect of the conjoined Elephants causing it to gain several diseases that eventually and slowly kills it.

  • Human Trafficking: Accused of this several times, something their PR fight againts.

  • Repulsive Ringmaster: The two are absolutely abusive ringleaders who abuse the twins for money and to get their circus popular.

  • Would Hurt a Child: Frequently abuses the kids and humiliates them in front of the adoring crowd.

     Montgomery Lubovich

The owner of a Don’t Tell Motel and the last of the Twins’ guardians.

  • A Lighter Shade of Black: Towards the mentally ill-prepared [McCluck], the predatory Mrs. Bouldger and the abusive Dillard and Fullerton, he’s much better of a guardian than the rest of them.

  • Nice Guy: Downplayed, as he has the girls work for him and keep them in a boiler room sleeping on a cot, though compared to McCluck who forced the girls in a small chicken coop and eat crumbs and Mrs. Bouldgers entire operation, Montgomery seems to treat the girls more decently and don’t outright abuse them, and does give them their own room.
