    Brave Command Dagwon

En Daidouji/Fire En/DagFire/Fire Dagwon/Power Dagwon

Voiced by: Koichi Tochika

The main protagonist and the fire warrior.

  • Blade Below the Shoulder: Fire Dagwon's Fire Blade, which extends from the ladder on the fire truck that forms his right arm.
  • Cool Car: En's basic vehicle, the Fire Stratos, is a Lancia Stratos police car.
  • Dangerous Forbidden Technique: Super Fire Dagwon is horrendously straining to use, so much so that En can only use it for about a minute at a time before falling unconscious. The result is that while it's billed in the opening credits as a Mid-Season Upgrade like other Brave final forms, instead it only gets used as a weapon of last resort, appearing a grand total of three times.
  • Elemental Punch: Both Fire En and DagFire use burning punch attacks called Fire Knuckle.
  • Meaningful Name: "En" is written with the kanji for "flame".
  • Tank-Tread Mecha: Power Dagwon transforms from an excavation vehicle, with the lower frame and treads becoming its legs. It can also assume a Partial Transformation where the legs remain untransformed.

Kai Hirose/Turbo Kai/DagTurbo/Liner Dagwon

Voiced by: Takehito Koyasu

The speed warrior.

  • Catchphrase: "Don't say four or five!" It's a literal English translation of a Japanese idiom that essentially means "Don't grumble."
  • The Leader: Played with. As far as the Liner Team, he's the leader. But for the whole Dagwon Team? He's The Lancer to En.
  • Leader Forms the Head: As the leader of the Liner Team, DagTurbo forms the head and torso of (Super) Liner Dagwon and has primary control over those forms.

Shin Sawamura/Armor Shin/DagArmor

Voiced by: Jin Yamanoi

The weapon warrior.

Yoku Kazamatsuri/Wing Yoku/DagWing

Voiced by: Hiro Yuki

The sky warrior.

Ryu Hashiba/Shadow Ryu/DagShadow/Shadow Dagwon

Voiced by: Atsushi Kisaichi

The shadow warrior.

  • The Aloner: He's a ninja, so he prefers to keep himself out of sight while occasionally helping his friends.
  • Blade Below the Shoulder: Shadow Ryu has a pair of giant Shadow Kunai attached to his elbows.
  • Friend to All Living Things: While he keeps human contact to a minimum, he's very friendly with animals. He even has animal-themed helper robots.
  • Ninja: His transformed forms has ninja motifs, all of them, although he wouldn't be the first ninja robot of the Brave Series.
  • Odd Friendship: With En. While the liner trio can tolerate his negative traits to get along with En and Geki is similar enough that they mesh well despite him insisting they're rivals, Ryu seems to be the only "serious" member of the team that genuinely seems to like En quirks and all. Both of his Dagwon transformations are gained when En is in danger.

Geki Kuroiwa/Drill Geki/DagDrill

Voiced by: Hisao Egawa

The ground warrior.

  • Delinquent: Has the style of a delinquent with black gakuran and hat, akin of someone like Jotaro Kujo. Also has a penchant to fighting.
  • Drill Tank: Geki's Drill Liner, in its Attack Mode, is a steam train with a drill attached to the front.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Despite being a tough-ass delinquent with deep voice, the shirt beneath his black gakuran is literally colored pink.

Rai Utsumi/Thunder Rai/DagThunder/Thunder Dagwon

Voiced by: Kappei Yamaguchi

The thunder warrior.

  • Chick Magnet: When Rai arrives on Earth to blend in as a normal student, the female students immediately start going after him to the point it starts to terrify him. And then Maria forces him to reveal he's a textbook psychic to the public.
  • Reused Character Design: Though some details are altered (including a new head, a new chest plate, and sticking DagThunder on the back) Thunder Dagwon's basic design is based on Galaxy Shuttle from Transformers Victory.
  • Sixth Ranger: Even more so than Geki, as Rai only joins in episode 35.

    Allies

Maria Tobe

Voiced by: Miki Nagasawa

En's Childhood Friend who he often butts heads with.

Manabu Tobe

Voiced by: Naomi Nagasawa

Maria's little brother.

Lian

Voiced by: Yutaka Hirose

The Sole Survivor of Sword Planet, which was destroyed by Arch Seijin. He wanted revenge at all costs, until the Dagwon sense knock some sense to him. Eventually, he lent his strength to them by being their living BFS.

  • Back for the Finale: Played with as Lian leaves in episode 39 after defeating Arch Seijin and getting a tip that at least one other Swordian survived the planets destruction and leaves to meet up with them. Only to return a few episodes later saying that he did locate them and he'll have a nice chat later on about the future of their race but wanted to help Dagwon finish the fight against Sargasso first. Then after seemingly defeating Genocide and Sargasso for good, Lian leaves again in the Penultimate episode taking Gunkid with him to return to the other Swordian since the battle appeared to be won, only for Genocide to make one final attack after they leave. Though given the nature of the final battle, it's unlikely they'd have been much help with it.
  • BFS: He turns into one, mostly to be used by Fire Dagwon as an extra powerful finisher. Although Power Dagwon's more bulky design is better suited to use Gunkid's Infinity Cannon as it's main finisher it can wield Lian as well in a pinch.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: He started out wanting vengeance against Arch Seijin at all costs, but it didn't work that well. He moves on from this with a little help from the Dagwon team.
  • Sole Survivor: He's the only surviving member of his planet. He's not pleased about it, but manages to move on later. Lian later finds out that at least one other member of his race survived off world and potentially more, and plans to meet up with them in the hopes of rebuilding their world.

Luna

Voiced by: Yumi Fukamizu

An alien who comes to assist the Dagwon team later in the series.

  • Laser Blade: Galaxy Luna has one of these, called the Lunatic Rapier.

Alien Brave

Voiced by: Joji Nakata

The alien responsible for giving the Dagwon team their powers.

    Sargasso Prison

Arch Seijin

The initial antagonist who destroyed the Alien Kens a long time ago.

  • Revenge by Proxy: Because a wandering Sword Planet being is the one who defeated and turned him over to the Space Police to be put in Sargasso once he's freed he immediately heads to their planet to destroy it before said Swordian returns with Lian as the only survivor. This is both to punish him and also to eliminate any other threats from them since one of their race had defeated him in the past. In fact he plans on getting direct revenge against the one who arrested him once he's done with the Earth so this was mostly to stop him from getting reinforcements.

Warugaia Brothers

Hido

Voiced by: Masahito Yabe

One of a trio of brothers who take over the antagonist position later in the series.

Gedo

Voiced by: Takashi Nagasako

One of the trio of brothers who take over the antagonist position later in the series.

Mado

Voiced by: Kouji Ishii

Leader of the trio of brothers who take over the antagonist position later in the series.

    The Real Mastermind *SPOILERS*

Genocide

A being with an asteroid-like body that crashed into Sargossa long ago. Able to possess both machines and organisms, he is the root of the prison break leading to the events of the series.
