Rago

Voiced By: Toshiyuki Morikawa (Japanese)

The last Legendary Blader and the most powerful at that. His goal is to turn the entire world to darkness.

  • Adaptive Armor: His Diablo Nemesis takes this up to eleven, being able to wield the powers of not only the Legendary Beys, but the powers of every opponent the Legendary Bladers had ever fought. This makes it so that it can switch between their powers at will to counter anything thrown at it - even using multiple powers at once on more than one occasion.
    • On a more technical level, Nemesis is one of two Beys that can switch between three wildly different performance tips at will. This means that it rapidly can swap between offensive, defensive, and stamina modes depending on the situation.
  • Big Bad: Of Fury.
  • Big Ol' Eyebrows
  • The Chosen One: The last of the Legendary Bladers, who wields Nemesis.
  • Dragon-in-Chief: To Nemesis and Rago is also it’s Blader. Nemesis personally chose Rago as being the only blader worthy of wielding its power.
  • Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette
  • The Juggernaut: His Nemesis is almost impossible to inflict reasonable damage to and can easily demolish anything that tries to attack it, all by virtue of his various Adaptive Armor abilities. It's also surprisingly fast for its bulk, making it a Lightning Bruiser.
  • Master of All: Not only is his bey itself an extremely powerful balance type that can turn into any of the three main types on a whim, it also wields the powers of all the Legendary Bladers and every opponent they've faced. This means that Nemesis is able to tackle just about any situation that arises, and handily overcome it.
  • Power Copying: The main ability of his bey.
  • Purple Is the New Black
  • Red Baron: The Child of the Black Sun.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning
  • Villain Respect: Comes to respect Ryuga, commending him for surviving so long against him.
  • Voice of the Legion: His voice carries a permanent echo, even before he gets Nemesis.
  • World's Strongest Man: Rago is generally considered one of the most powerful villains, as well as one of the strongest bladers in the entire Beyblade franchise, and for good reason: He was one of the two bladers who managed to defeat Ryuga, who himself has a reputation for being one of the most powerful bladers, not only that, he curb stomped him at his prime with ease. If THAT wasn't enough, he has the powers of every Legendary Blader, as well as the powers of every opponent those bladers have ever faced. Given the large amount of strong opponents Gingka alone has fought, that should really tell you something. In the end, it took the powers of every Legendary Blader and the entire Beyblade world's power combined to defeat him, which Gingka barely won in the end. To cap it all off, he caused worldwide destruction and created a black sun almost the size of earth with his power alone.

Pluto

Voiced By: Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Japanese)

A blader who works with Rago in order to have Nemesis revived.

  • Sharp-Dressed Man: After getting rid of his all-covering outfit.
  • Evil Genius: Knows enough knowledge to rival Madoka, Yuki, and Dynamis and organized the steps for Nemesis' revival.
  • You Can't Fight Fate: Believes King Hades prophecy is law.
  • Oh, Crap!: When Kenta became a Legendary Blader he became furious, and was willing to use any means necessary just to stop him from sealing Nemesis.

Johannes

Voiced By: Isshin Chiba (Japanese)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/johannes_0.png

A cat blader who works on the side of Nemesis.

  • Cat Boy: Not in the literal sense but very often behaves like a cat from leaping down from high places and meowing.
  • Cats Are Mean: A boy that acts like a cat that is working toward the revival of Nemesis.
  • Character Tic: Often "meows" mid sentence.
  • The Heavy: Though Rago and Nememis are the main antagonists, they don't appear until near the end of the series. And Pluto is just on the sidelines for the most part. They leave Johannes in charge of gathering up the Legendary Bladers and getting them to join their cause to revive Nemesis. This also results with Johannes confronting Gingka and the others many times throughout the season.
  • Light Is Not Good: His clothes are white and golden in color, making him seem almost angelic. This is somewhat countered by his dark hair and skin.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: Johannes Hevelius, who discovered the Lynx constellation that Johannes' Beyblade represents.
  • Panthera Awesome
