- Scarf of Asskicking: All members of the Battle Fever team wears white scarves when assuming their battle forms.

Kensaku Shiraishi / Battle Cossack I
Kensaku Shiraishi / Battle Cossack I | Actor: Yuiko Itō
An orphan from Central Asia raised by Tetsuzan.- But Not Too Foreign: Grew up in Central Asia, but is visibly Japanese.
- Forgotten Fallen Friend: No mention is ever made of him again after Makoto takes over his job.
- Killed Off for Real: Dies in episode 33 at the hands of Egos forces.
- The Lancer: For the first few episodes. The writers quickly change their mind, however, and he loses this position to Battle France (the fact that Yukio Ito was planning to leave the show also contributed to his demotion as sub-leader).
- The Smart Guy: A scientist and a good field tactician.
Makoto Jin / Battle Cossack II
Makoto Jin / Battle Cossack II | Actor: Daisuke Ban
A friend of Kensaku's who eventually replaces him on the team.- Anti-Hero Substitute: In his first episode as a regular, he attempts to kill the "Dark Shogun", who is responsible for his brother's death, in cold blood. It turns out the Dark Shogun is an Egos Monster, but he didn't know that.
- But Not Too Foreign: Played by a Japanese actor, but dresses like a cowboy in a way that gives him a foreign aesthetic.
- Cold Sniper: Is a skilled sniper and also a very aloof individual, at least initially.
- The Quiet One: Doesn't speak a whole lot.
- The Smart Guy: Like Kensaku, he's a scientist.
- What the Hell, Hero?: See Anti-Hero Substitute above.
Kyōsuke Shida / Battle France
Kyōsuke Shida / Battle France | Actor: Yūhei Kurachi

- Cool Sword: What his Command Bat transforms into.
- The Dandy: Charismatic and always well-dressed.
- Gratuitous French: Well, what did you expect?
- Katanas Are Just Better: Averted.
- The Lancer: Inherits this position after the first few episodes (the roll call order is even changed to reflect this). Indeed, his easygoing personality is a good foil to Japan's Straight Man tendencies.
Shirō Akebono / Battle Kenya

A Japanese man born and raised in Kenya- The Big Guy: A tough fighter who acts as the muscle of the team.
- But Not Too Foreign: A Japanese man raised in Kenya.
- Friend to All Living Things: Shiro likes animals, owns a pet shelter and is also able to speak with them.
- Kid-Appeal Character: Is often the one who provides the comic relief and silly moments each episode.
- Spotlight-Stealing Squad: He gets a lot of focus in the second half of the show.
Diane Martin / Miss America I
Diane Martin / Miss America I | Actor: Diane Martin
An FBI agent who joins the team after her father is killed by Egos.- Commuting on a Bus: Her role was greatly reduced after the first few episodes, until she was finally replaced.
- Dying Moment of Awesome: She didn't die, but in her final episode, she manages to escape Salome and Dracula Monster with her sister after having been depleted of a good chunk of her blood; it was pretty awesome.
- Faux Action Girl: Related to her Commuting on a Bus above: she is supposed to be a secret agent, and yet she spends most of her time in the base doing nothing while the guys are out there investigating.
- Put on a Bus: After getting injured in episode 24, she leaves the team to go care for her younger sister.
- You Killed My Father: Her motive for joining Battle Fever was to avenge her father Bossner, who is killed by Egos in the first episode. It never went anywhere.

- Hot Teacher: One episode sees her disguising herself as a hot tutor.
- I Let Gwen Stacy Die: Her not saving a boy from drowning before her eyes when she was a child is something that haunts her.

Secret Society Egos
General Tropes
A secret society responsible for causing natural disasters and being behind numerous other worldwide events.
- The Illuminati: They've been pulling the strings behind numerous world events to further their own agenda.
- Nebulous Evil Organization: They're a secret society that spreads natural disasters in the name of conquering the world.
- Oddly Small Organization: For a secret organization that's supposedly been manipulating world events for some time, the only members we see besides the Cutmen are Hedder and Satan Egos himself, at least before Saloné joins.
Satan Egos
Satan Egos | Actor: Shōzō Iizuka
The mysterious leader of Secret Society Egos.- Actually Pretty Funny: During his confrontation with Battle Fever in the finale, Shirou cracks a joke about him dancing... and Satan Egos laughs at it.
- Alien Blood: When he's stabbed by Battle Fever Robo in the finale, he bleeds green blood.
- Ambiguous Situation: The crystal in front of him and the link he shares with it are just as mysterious as everything else about him.
- Big Bad: Has been terrorizing the planet for eons, with multiple disasters and assassinations through history being his fault.
- Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: Similar to Shine, he's the instigator of the series that's been terrorizing the world while being Orcus on His Throne. Unlike Shine, Egos is present in the series since the start and takes a more active role by creating the monsters of the series and making plans of his own. He also properly becomes the Final Boss, unlike Shine who was literally tossed aside upon seeing that his true form posed no physical threat.
- Make My Monster Grow: He's notable as the first Super Sentai villain to employ this tactic, albeit it's a little downplayed as he instead makes a giant version of the Monster of the Week they call "little brother/sister", albeit this method would be seen again in Go-Busters and Kiramager. Amusingly, he plays this trope straight towards himself in the finale.
- Orcus on His Throne: Sits cross-legged on his ledge and doesn't move an inch, at least until the finale.
- Power Crystal: He shares an unknown link with the crystal in front of him, and at times his voice seems to be coming from it.
- The Unreveal: In all 52 episodes, little hint is given to exactly what Egos even is and even the finale doesn't reveal anything about him. His true nature is made all the more curious by the fact that at times his crystal seems to be speaking instead of him.
Commander Hedder
Commander Hedder | Actor: Masashi Ishibashi (eps 1-4; 9-51), Kenji Ushio (eps 5-8)
An executive of Secret Society Egos.- The Dragon: He's Egos top henchman and field supervisor. He's even played by the same actor as the previous Dragon, Iron Claw.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He's a bad man, but he cares for his pupil Salome and even vouches for her in front of Satan Egos.
- Evil Is Hammy: Is a villain, and acts very hammy.
- It's Personal with the Dragon: Things become personal with him after he kills Tetsuzan's old martial arts master, leading the two to fight in a one-on-one duel.
- Noble Demon: While he's not a good man by any means, he does keep his word, as shown in episode 50 when he sets Keiko and Masaru free after Tetsuzan agrees to duel him.
- One-Winged Angel: After Tetsuzan kills him the first time, Satan Egos reincarnates him as an Egos Monster.
- Strong Girl, Smart Guy: The scheming smart guy to Salomé's super strong girl.
- Undying Loyalty: To Satan Egos.
Salomé
Salomé | Actor: Maki Ueda
An officer of the American branch of Egos who's called to Japan by Hedder.- Big Bad Ensemble: Subverted. In her introduction, the lack of a clear connection to Egos led Battle Fever to theorize she was from a different organization. Not long after though, she's revealed to be a pupil of Hedder and becomes a regular member of Egos.
- The Brute: Incredibly strong and tough, and usually the one who handles operations on the field.
- Dark Action Girl: She's a very tough warrior, as well as an evil and ruthless one.
- Evil Wears Black: Occasionally she'll wear a simple black jumpsuit instead of the more fanciful dress she normally wears.
- Professional Killer: Worked mainly as an assassin while she was with Egos's American branch.
- Remember the New Guy?: Played With. She's presented an elite assassin of the American branch and when she joins Hedder knows of her, being her teacher, while Satan Egos doesn't.
- Strong Girl, Smart Guy: The superhumanly strong girl to Hedder's scheming smart guy.
- Who Shot JFK?: She did, apparently. In her introductory episode we get a montage of assassinations she's been behind, and JFK is shown.
- World's Best Warrior: What she declares herself to be, and given how she can take on each member of Battle Fever individually with ease, she may have a claim to that.
Cutmen
The footsoldiers of Egos.
- Mooks: They're essentially your standard Sentai grunt force.
Egos Monsters
Monsters created by Egos using their Monster Making Chamber.
Egos Monsters
- Monster of the Week: The fiends Team Battle Fever has to contend with each episode.
- Number Two: Technically, since they're referred to as children of Satan Egos, this puts them directly below him in the Egos hierarchy, even above Hedder and Salomé.
- Stronger Sibling: Whenever one is destroyed, Egos will summon a "little brother" who's a giant version of them to fight Battle Fever Robo.
Umbrella Monster (1)
Fang Lion Monster (1 & 2)
Death Mask Monster (3)
Bengal Tiger/Psychokinesis Monster (4)
Buffalo Monster (5)
Doguu Monster (6)
Fireball Monster (7)

- Would Hurt a Child: Once he was exposed, he was willing to kill all of them to prevent Egos' secrets.
Icicle Monster (9)
Nauman Monster (10)
Cobra Monster (11)
Monster Roselinka (12)
- Weaksauce Weakness: Since she's an artificial plant, she's weakened by the source of life of regular plants: dirt.
