• An unofficial creed of those who are skilled at surviving Touhou Project bosses and their attacks:
  "Touhou players need not bring an umbrella in the rain."
• In the "Misfits and Magic" campaign of Dimension 20, the player characters are sorted into the token "loser" house at Gowpenny, Chimeron, whose mascot is a goat. They resolve to excel and help turn Chimeron's reputation around, and come up with a cool slogan for it: "Mess with the goat, get the horns!" It's used a few times throughout the campaign after a student from the house does something badass, and it actually starts to catch on.
