Awesome Music / Cats Don't Dance

Go To

  • "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now". All of it ad libbed with the music to match its awesomeness. The full scene is right here.
  • "Big And Loud" (both the original and the Dark Reprise) stand out the most, the first being a bombastic Broadway-esque tune and the second having a pipe organ and ominous backing vocals. Don't believe it? Watch and all doubt removed.
  • "Little Boat On The Sea", while meant to be a cheesy and saccharine showtune in-universe, is admittedly awesome in its own merit. It has the same backing vocals and a similar melody as "Big and Loud"'s Dark Reprise in its first half and some lively instrumentals in its second half. Also, even if Danny hijacking the show was a Jerkass move, you can't really hate his singing here.
  • "I Do Believe" is such an uplifting gospel-like song from an otherwise comical animated feature. A worthy Award-Bait Song.
  • Natalie Cole is the singing voice for Sawyer, so her song "Tell Me Lies" is quite the Tear Jerker.
  • While it is not as popular or thematic as some of the others, if you need a song that makes you feel you can do anything, try listening to "Our Time Has Come".
  • Possibly the one song that rivals the climactic hit, "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now": "Animal Jam"! With its jazzy, percussion-heavy instrumentals and upbeat tone.
