Prologue

  • Juna piloting the hijacked Sorge and crashing it at Orchis Tower with the SSS in the Sorge's arms. The scene also has one of the smoothest animations in the game.

Lloyd Route

    Chapter 1
  • Villainous it may have been, but Rufus manages to bring Crossbell back to its knees after he delivers an utter Curb-Stomp Battle against the ENTIRE SSS, the Ninth Dominion, and the former Yin by himself!. He then demolishes Lloyd after he tries pulling off his Determinator approach and sends him into a coma for two days. None of the villains from the Crossbell arc post-KeA reboot had come this close to nearly killing him! And then it turns out to be a robot version of Rufus.

    Chapter 3
  • Noel saving Lloyd from the burning Reinford building in a bike. Then Wazy and Tio fire off their attacks against a ceiling about to collapse that's blocking Noel with Noel firing at the debris with her gun.

Rean Route

    Chapter 1
  • After Matteus tosses Kurt off the cliff at Eisengard, Kurt's solution is to climb up the damn cliff and get back in the fight. He then ends up being the one to deal the final blow to defeat his father.
  • Matteus Vander proves himself as one of the strongest swordsmen in Erebonia by defeating a horde of Magic Knights by himself.
  • Ash and Musse distracting Claire by Ash throwing his darts at a cliff and collapsing it, buying Altina time to destroy the barrier encasing both Ash and Musse.

    Chapter 2
  • A shared one with C/Rufus's route where the fight between the two teams switch mid-fight. Something that's never happened in the franchise.

    Chapter 3
  • Olivert's One-Man Army moment with Schera as a Brave Order backup, regaining his hijacked ship while Rean and the others were at the Nord watchtower.
    • As messed up as the hijackers are, it's notable that they not only have incredible respect for Olivert especially when he fights his way out of their custody but actively want him to join their coup and see him as someone they want to back as emperor, pointing out that he thwarted Osborne's attempt to kill him and built the Courageous II right under his nose and he is the only member of the royal family who wasn't played or cowed by Osborne and the only member of the royal family they see as worthy despite his bloodline status. Unfortunately they also want him to lead the Empire to conquering the continent and he obviously has no interest in that.
  • Rean's duel with the fake Arios as shown in the opening. Watch as Rean and Arios scale the Lost Zem statue while fighting each other and ends with the two using Arcane Gale with Rean winning against the fake Arios.
  • This is then followed up by Rean out of nowhere summoning his Tyrfing S, which isn't supposed to be capable of spatial translocation, and slice the railway cannon missile aiming for the Nord settlement. Sure it wrecks his Tyrfing S but he did save the village.

C/Rufus Route

    Chapter 3
  • By the time Swin and Nadia regroup with their friends, Nadia has seen through the Emperor's fighting style, which is shown in-game with her one-fight-only second Brave Order, "Analysis Complete!" What does it do? It increases break damage by 700%, and five turns of status buffs!
  • Before that, C and Lapis take on an army of Lapis doll clones.

    Chapter 4
  • Arios' Big Damn Heroes moment where he one-shots his clone fakes with his powerful Arcane Gale.
    • This is later then topped by Zeit who saves the party from the gravitational effects of the out-of-control Monarch's Regalia artifact. It then ends with Swin and Nadia holding Swin's sword to stab the artifact and shatter it into a million pieces.

Final Chapter

  • The famous C/the real Rufus vs. the fake Rufus as shown in the trailer (the difference is that C is masked in the trailer). He then finishes off his robot self in a Single-Stroke Battle.
    • Then there's the scene before the fight starts. Simulacrum Rufus is making an offer to Rufus to become the real Supreme Leader so that "Rufus Albarea" will finally surpass his father Osborne. Rufus himself nearly contemplates the offer when Lapis just says his name. In that one moment, Rufus ends up remembering Lapis' words that Rufus should just be himself. Rufus finally musters up the willpower and courage to finally reject the offer and personally finish off Simulacrum Rufus, finally saying goodbye to his past self, even calling out his fake self about Osborne's personality, claiming that his father is a man who loves his children.
  • Yes it's a sidequest but for the first time, either Estelle, Lloyd, or Rean can catch the final fish of game.
  • The arrival of the Arseille II and the characters fending off the robots while they try to get in the Tower of Babel.
  • Before that, both Thors campuses who deploy their soldats, the Bobcats I and II, Ouroboros ships (with Gilbert's come back), the Red Constellation, Zephyr, and the Merkabahs with 2 leading the charge and 5, 8, 9, and 11 all showing up in the fight for the fate of the world against Elysium's endless army of robots.
  • When the Retributive Tower fires its Wave-Motion Gun at the Arseille II, Aurelia, Victor, Matteus, Wallace, and Vandyck stop the huge beam with their enchanted weapons. Even the other characters couldn't believe what they just saw!
    • Aurelia proving that she has insane Super-Reflexes when she is the first of the five to hit the laser. Take note, said laser can reach across the entire Erebonian empire all the way to Juno Naval Fortress which is located towards the west of the empire. Yes, she gave physics the biggest middle finger in the series.
  • When Lloyd's team gets trapped by the copy of the Monarch's Regalia artifact, Rean's team rescues them with Rean one-shotting the enemies that spawns on them with an Arcane Gale while Swin destroys the generator to free Lloyd's team. Lloyd then one-shots the enemies that are headed towards them with a Zero Breaker. In an aversion to Cutscene Power to the Max, players can actually one-shot those enemies with Rean's Arcane Gale with a proper build.
  • During the battle against Zoa Gilstein piloted by Ishmelga Rean, everyone is on the ropes except Rean who has had enough of his other self and charges in anyway. This allows him to come into contact with Valimar's spirit with Ordine and El-Prado joining in as well! For the first time, the player has three playable Divine Knights (in spirit but it counts). Lapis then becomes a secondary contractor who partners herself with Rufus by default.
    • Beating Zoa Gilstein on Nightmare or Abyss difficulty counts as one for the player due to how much the boss cheats and breaks the rules.
  • Say what you will but after five whole games, Rean finally says "no" to the other Rean as he will no longer sacrifice himself at the drop of a hat to save the world.
  • To save Zemuria and destroy the Retributive Tower after Ishmelga decides to take all of Zemuria with him, Rufus pulls off a massive Zero-Approval Gambit and focus the entire world's hatred onto him so he can collect the energy and fire Keraunos back to the Tower of Babel and destroy it, taking him with it in the process to break the cycle of hatred. The only reason why he's alive is thanks to Lloyd, Zeit, Jusis, Swin, Nadia, and Lapis who come back for him.
  • The other Reannote  saving Lapis from a falling ceiling, finally being able to disappear as himself after he and Lloyd exchange words with the two doing a fist bump.

Reverie Corridor

  • Osborne's Daydream episode reveals that Rean actually exceeded his expectations by snapping out of his berserker state. He also implies that he didn't actually hold back in the final Rivalry, making Rean and Class VII's victory more impressive in hindsight.
